Hey hi! Saw your video on when you told us how you started your own gym (and how much it costed you). You inspired me, and by mid 2021 i will open mine! I've been fascinated by strengh since i was young. I got a good job with a good revenue but is not my passion. I will save till i feel safe enough to start, which should be by mid 2021. THANKS i feel like i now have a goal thanks to you!
Iron Addicts Gym is pretty awesome with world champion powerlifter C.T. Fletcher. Of course it was more youtube funded. What makes Alan's gym so special is that he worked especially hard to put his gyms together with pure hardwork and earned money, not really funded by youtube and fans. This guy is the real deal, non-celebrity guy that made his dreams come true the way most people ignore. Very pure.
Been following you since 2015, oh man I'm so proud of you. Feels like we are growing together. Someday I'll travel to Sacramento (I'm from india) and visit your gym that I've only seen in video.
Loving the build out Alan! Talk about an extremely well stocked, versatile training facility. Very inspiring to see a young man operating with such professionalism and growing so much in the strength industry!
Vision + Desire + Dedication + hard work and willingness to learn + an awesome beard = Untamed Strength , another American success story! Congrats Allen!
I’ve been following you for a few years now and it’s amazing to see how much you’ve grown and how much your gym has grown. It’s not possible to have as much respect and admiration for you ask I do currently
Brother, I have watched you struggle from when you started and to see how far you have come along the way, brought tears to my eyes. I am so happy for you and I want you to know that I aspire to be just like you brother. Love from Malaysia.
Yo Alan, I just want to say that I have been following you for 3 years and you have been a great inspiration! For powerlifting, strong man, and overall fitness you motivate me every time I see your vids! Keep up the work on growing the gym and I hope to visit the gym one day 💪🏽
Alan thank you for your service. Thanks for making a channel that’s simple and straightforward without all the fluff. Wish I could train with you. Congratulations on the new gym.
I’m so proud and happy for Alan! Been following for a very long time! Still haven’t had the time to go to untamed strength cause I live in SoCal, but keep up the good work! And keep thriving!
I’ve gotta say it’s been great seeing how far you’ve come. I started watching your channel in your original location, and seeing the expansions you’ve made, the knowledge you’ve gained and shared and the amazing gym you’ve built is truly impressive, congratulations! I hope to visit your gym one day.
Painkiller sounding in the background. LITERALLY my FAVORITE song for training with heavy (AF) weight. You are a proper Gym owner. Gym music truly sucks EVERYWHERE.
Really awesome Alan, I'm so glad you have been able to grow your passion. You're a wonderful asset to the strength world and I'm glad I can call you my friend.
My gym is surprisingly well equipped (used to be mostly classes and machines for the moderate gym goes but now has tires, yokes, farmers handles, logs etc) but to train at Untamed Strength is a dream. Definitely on my bucket list! It's a bit far away from Sweden though :)
Really great to see your hard work and dedication paying, you've come such a long way since I started watching your videos, and it seems like you deserve every success. I would love to have access to a facility with an owner/instructor who is as thoughtful and accommodating to members as you seem to be, besides having all the knowledge and experience to share. If I get over to the States, this place will be right on top of my list of places to visit. Many thanks for all the information you share on your channel, I have no doubt my lifts and training successes are in part due to stuff I've learned over here.
I would suggest adding a back stop to your loading shelf! If someone loads a keg sideways, it may roll off and smash that glass behind it! The gym looks great!! Be strong and courageous!
The 17 persons who disliked this video must have some serious issues with themselves. Alan, the gym looks awesome! If I lived at your part of the world, your gym would be my first choise to work out at!
Hey Alan! Nice job, great place. One suggestion : you may want to put some kind of a small safety wall on that shelf, so you don't get the glass window and door smashed. Keep up the good work!
@@dragos-andreidascalu4566 I still got my LA Fitness membership. $20/month doesn't break the bank. I usually go once a week. Usually to deadlift. You know. "Our hit? This is our hit. You won't hear this next song anywhere except in your car, at untamed strength, or on this god damn stage and that's the way it should be."
Probably an annoying question, Alan, but I got interested in strength training and went with starting strength. It's been 4 months now and my lifts have all stalled. I'm obese, so my strategy going in was to focus on strength for 6 months, than focus on weight loss the other 6 months (I signed up for a year at my gym). I noticed that my strength gains, numbers, weren't improving at the same rate they were when I had tried lifting for 2 months 3 years ago, when I only weighed 145lbs at 5'7". At that time it only took me 2 months to get to the lifts that it has taken me 4 moths to achieve this time around (Im currently 211lbs). I started getting knee pain, which I resolved, in part, thanks to your tutorials, and learned it was a form issue, but decided I should diet down in hope of preventing injury. I'm sure my diet is to blame for the lack of progress. I count my calories and my macros, I eat the right foods, but I'm only eating 1500kcals/day. Is there any advice and what I can do to increase strength while losing fat? I'm a bit impatient when it comes to the scale so I tend to over work myself in the cardio department, but my recovery for my workouts are overnight, so I don't know if it's a nutrition problem, or just fatigue/cns over-stimulation. I do sleep a lot after workouts, like 10 hours and am still pretty tired throughout the day following workouts (despite not being sore). Do I break up my lifts and cardio sessions into separate days and just hit the gym more frequently, with 1 or 2 fewer rest days, increase my calories, or just commit to either strength gains or fat loss? I'm sure these questions get asked a lot, so I apologies if reading this is annoying.
