When I was grade 3-4, I used to remember all of these bones. But some years after that somehow, I forgot almost all of them. Now it's time to remember all again, regain that knowledge!
Would you consider doing a video like this for every nerve and every organ please? This is now one of my favourite videos. I'm autistic and have found I have a very deep interest in the human body. It's one of my favourite fixations.
@MoreThanSkinDeep Thank you so much for this great lecture:) i just want to clear that, you know you said that there are 212 bones, then why we say that human body has 206 bones, please?
This may be late, but the 206 number comes from considering the hemipelvis (half a pelvis - a hip, basically) and sternum to be single bones, whereas here they're considered each made up of three separate parts! It all depends on where you think a bone begins and ends.
Don’t laugh as I’ve just been given a human skeleton! As a present. It’s something I’ve always wanted and have been looking out for one for many months. Then I spotted one In an antique shop. It’s a beauty, on a stand . I think it’s been used for educational purpose as all the joints are wired in and it has the discs in the back and little plastic things sticking out from them🤔( see I need your videos😁) I knew a few names of certain bones but have now discovered the names of many more thanks to your video, which is brilliant! I’m going to have to watch it a few times as the names shot straight over my head in the hand and feet bones! So interesting. Thank you 👍his name is Ernest...Ernie for short after my grandad! 😉👍
I did the quizzes Original 151 pokemon, 50 us states, The names of 196 countries, capitals and flags of 196 countries. Chatgpt led me here. He said, "You can memorize the bones of the human body to improve your memory"
Hey man, great video on the every bone in the human body! and I gotta say, it's spot-on! Before I dive into Google (or not), could you just quickly fill me in on whether there are differences in the pelvic bones between guys and gals? Your explanations are just too good, and I'm too lazy to look it up. Thanks for making this topic so easy to understand!
The actual named bones are the same between biological males and females. But their shapes are a little different. Females have to accommodate a baby after all!
It depends a little on what you class as individual bones! Some would consider the pelvis to consist of only 2 hemipelves, whereas for this video I have divided it into its 6 composite bones. Likewise you could say the sternum is 1 single bone, but I've divided it into its 3 component parts. There's no right or wrong answer, it just depends on your perspective! Besides, throughout life the number of bones will change as some become fused to one another. Plus there are plenty of anatomical variations where people have more/less bones than would be considered anatomically "normal".
This videos so good, it showed me ik more than i think like i was just pointing to different parts n guessing what i think it was and i got so many more correct but i also just had anatomy so its fresh lol but im coming back to this vid for the refresher
I thought the adult human body had 206 bones. If at least that what books and the internet says. If some one asks me how many bones does the human body have do I say 206 or 212? And where did the extra 6 come from?

How come it says 212 but everywhere else says there are 206? Are they just counting groups of bones as one? I'm confused.

Great video, loved it!
There do the extra 6 bones come from, with the 212 summation at the end and only 206 bones being in the adult human body?
