We just kicked off our welcome dinner with the group in Tokyo last night! We’re already in love with Japan! 🇯🇵
Come follow our adventures live time on Instagram instagram.com/leftcoastrevivals
Have lots of fun in Japan😃
Hi Laura! Hope you have a fantastic time in Japan. Will be installing Instagram so I can follow your adventures 😊😊
Have so much fun peeps. Wish i could go with you next time
Hi Laura, im trying to buy your bear earrings but i dont have a credit card, is there any other way i can purchase them from you, sorry i know you having fun in Japan.
You should keep the fruit bowl. Stunning.
My favorite words to hear you say is “ONLY $” and “definitely getting this.” ❤❤😊😊🎉
I have been suffering from a migraine cascade for 8 months and your videos have literally saved my sanity. Watching you do what I love to do and wish I could just makes my head feel a little better. Thank you!
Hope you feel better! Watching Laura and others on YT have also helped save my sanity during many months of health issues.
I do NOT how you do not keep so much of what you purchase. I admire your design style and appreciate you sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm for artistic expression, historical significance and craftsmanship.
I know the shop employees love seeing you all pull up in that big old van! They’re like heck yeah! Jackpot!!!
That Florentine piece with the mother and child was so sweet
Oh my gosh that heavy wooden pedestal bowl! I used to have that and was recently wishing I still did. I had gotten it from the home decor store Kirkland’s around 1999. What a coincidence.
Nice to know it’s history:) Thanks for sharing! 😊
Tom Allen is a well-known watercolor painter in Oregon and has done many pieces with coast themes. He was on the faculty at Oregon State University in Plant Pathology retiring around 1991. He is in his mid-90’s now, lives near family in New Mexico, and still paints. He was a colleague of my dad’s and my parents have collected his work for over 60 years.
Thank you so much for this info!!
There is something to say about the personality and the fact that your viewers get to know you. I enjoy your videos, you are the soul behind it.
Getting together with other thrifters or resellers in your area is such a brilliant idea, Laura. Who appreciates our found treasures more than other collectors? I say more, more, more videos of group pickin'!
Ii love all of your videos...love Jesse especially
I have candles I bought in Germany in the 80s and 90s and still haven't lite them yet. Crazy.
Not crazy…preserving works of art. 👍🥰
Yes, more! I can't afford any of your finds, but it is so much fun seeing everything.
When you are on your own, without a group or your husband, are the best videos for me. Love your choices!
What a thrill to come home exhausted from work, collapse on the couch, open my phone and there's a new LCR video to watch!
Thank you.
Girl, same!!!!
I can not get enough of your content, Laura! The girls' trips are fabulous. So a huge yes, please, many more of these. I loved the metal frame, I have eclectic taste, so many of your finds appealed to me, and I started thinking about how I would incorporate them into my own home. I have that same mini brass easel 😁 Have a brilliant time in Japan. I look forward to your videos from there, too🩷🤍
Yes, I want to see more group thrifting with the girls!
That spinal table is the beautiful. The best one I have ever seen.
I loved your friends road trip, more please!
What a blast to spend time with all of you! I love seeing these different perspectives of our trip and re-living the magic. You got a few items that I didn't see, so I love seeing the full haul! That jewelry haul still has my jaw on the ground. :) Oh and maybe mount the bronze sculpture to an organic glazed wood base for a little night light with some shadowy ambiance?
I think lots of us would like to see the thrift hauls of all your girls, too!
So much fun!
Check out Andi & Taylor’s vlogs on their hauls! Instagram handles in the description 😄
0Another enjoyable video, Laura. You have a great editing style, showing the larger view, the many things you look at up close and not too fast, the things you picked, the styling, relaxed and informative commentary. I love your taste. I am looking forward to the Japan videos. I lived there 4 years, 1979 - 1984 and thrufted every day. They didn't have thrift stores then (except Sally Ann which was open on Saturday mornings only), but there were lots of neighborhood second hand stores, fancy antique stores, and Sunday temple markets (flea narkets). Near my house there was a store that had a big free table out front, reasonably oriced items inside, and treasures in the private back room. Oh those were glory days. The Japanese are great craftsmen.
I loved everything about this garden. Absolutely beautiful!
Episode 2 did not disappoint. What amazing finds. So much stuff I loved it's hard to pick a favourite but I think its the Batik silk art piece. Beautiful. I have really enjoyed watching you thrift with your friends. Enjoy Japan! Can't wait to see what you find there.
Thank you! We are so much already! Celebrating Jesse’s birthday exploring Tokyo today 😄
Happy Birthday to Jessie! 🎉🎉 What a fantastic place to be on your birthday!
Great picking Ladies. So many great objects. I hope you took the Mexican tin bowl Laura, such an easy conversion to a lamp shade.
I've played with the idea of collecting paint by numbers dogs. I love that your friend found some. Fun video, as always!
P.S. I lovvvve your table lighter at 17:40. 😍
Laura, your finds are amazing. UH-MAY-ZING!! (that's your new Chinese Vintage Re-seller name, by the way!!) But even more than these terrific finds was your sheer JOY that exuded from you as you discussed each item! I think this trip is among my top five of your videos. It's not a world-wide travel extravaganza this time but man alive, you just seemed so thrilled and tickled and happily satisfied not only with your treasures but you were genuinely happy for your friends' finds! And you were honest with your one friend who was going to pay $39 for that one piece and you gave a little gasp that let us know you thought the price was a biiiiit too high! I liked your honesty with her. Anyway, I was subscribed when you were with your old thrifting partner but stayed with YOU when y'all went your separate ways. Continuing to be subscribed to you was the best decision in my opinion; you rock the casbah!!
Definitely more!
😄
Yes please! Really enjoyed seeing what everyone chose! 😊
Great fun. For many years, my family did a once a year Goodwill Tour in the Minneapolis, MN area. Sometimes we had 20 people.
I bought a lot of USSR items in East Berlin before the wall came down in 1986.
The base w/the people at the corners would make a great napkins holder.
That’s a great idea!
Loved the last outfit you had on in the video!! You looked super nice! Great scores! Thank you for sharing!
In December I had a Stem Cell Transplant so spent 5 weeks in isolation then 3
months in accommodation across from the hospital, home now and the transplant to date has been a success. Found your chanel when in isolation, you saved my sanity and love what you do, been to Oregon it is so very beautiful. Thank You. Yes more road trips please
Love your videos, get excited every time a new one pops up. Your design eye is amazing
I really enjoy the group shopping trips! It's interesting to see how everyone's tastes differ. Plus the fun vibes you all give off. Keep them coming! I also love seeing you and Jesse on the road. He's a hoot!
I can't say that I liked all of your choices, but what do I know? I can say that I love your staging. I wouldn't mind seeing more trips with your friends.
The black vase and the bronze people. Look forward to Japan
Yes! Love your picking videos and any of your videos. Keep them coming!
I can’t believe there’s a shop you haven’t been to yet out on the west coast! 🎉
I know 😂 It’s always extra exciting and it sure didn’t disappoint!
Safe travels to Japan. Have fun!😃
fun! Yes, do more videos like this.
Yes... please do another group hunt.
You are all so fortunate to be in each others company!
I absolutely loved these two series. The finds were fabulous I'm starting to think i.m8ght habe blunkers on I don't seem to score very well lol I'm so happy you linked the wood oil I got some new japanese pieces I wish to protect and plenty if my wood items large abd small. I love how you show how clean they look once they get a good drink from the oil. Thumbs up, Laura. I always eagerly wait every week to wstch you. You are so educational, which is good for me being an Aussie. It's like starting all over again but with items in the USA. lol, cheers!
Good scores! My tastes are eclectic too - the base is earthy 70s boho/brutalism, but with highlights of Edwardian and 80s LOL A lot of brass, wood, pottery like you... but pastels and florals too. But I have a side-hustle in shabby gothic! There's just too much fun stuff out there to stick to one thing, I think that's part of a good vintage seller's brain. 😁
Big Candle in the middle of the bronze people dish. 😊
Yes to more videos!! This was fun to watch♥️♥️♥️
I would love to visit Origon!
MMmmmm... seafood!
Gorgeous wooden bowl LOVE!
Love the ringbirdie your friend found!
Love everything woodcarved, yep a thisl
That table is stunning! Score!

Laura love watching you all shop I would like to see more of it that was fun. Great haul as always. See you next time
I'm so happy to hear you still have the gallery wall episode on the back burner!! I can not wait to see it!!
Hi from Toronto 🇨🇦, love your videos, you’re such a great entrepreneur. Guess what I found in value village today - yes one of those #}*% penguin ice buckets! Never seen one before but there it was 😀
Haha I love it’s 🐧
The hand made house seems like made out of silk - beautiful
Love the group picking !!!❤🦘
Hi Laura! I hope y’all have fantastic adventures in Japan! Enjoy the cultural beauty & all aspects of their history, etc.! In your video (thrifting with the girls in Lincoln City, etc) you found a bell without its ringer ( it’s called a clapper) and another piece that featured a flower on it (that was the thistle-the national flower of Scotland) I hope that this helps! Laura, I absolutely love your zeal for thrifting & how you do extensive research on items & we benefit from your knowledge! Have a wonderful time in Japan & I look forward to seeing your videos from there! 😊💕
Hi Laura 🌺. Hi Jesse!
Yes yes..different perspectives are always welcome. Love table
I love the black pot that you bought at the "Cheap Frills" antique mall. Would you maybe be selling it in your next First Friday sale?
It's fun watching you find treasures!
What was in that gorgeous salad at 2:55?
The food at Local Ocean looked incredible! ❤😋
Wow! What a haul for one day. 👏👏👏
Have a fun safe trip
Hello Charlotte and Robin!
Leave the rose pin a pin! Its beautiful!
Your friend Kristine
The water and boats look so beautiful, loved the video
Pls do more group picking in the future. Interesting to see what each of you finds.
The seagull print has the wood frame with rounded corners u want for ur gallery wall....
I was thrifting today in my hometown of Cleveland, Ohio . And I have to say it does not even compare to the west coast. You have a treasure trove out there. Amazing!
Have you been to The Heart Of Ohio? The owners are on youtube The Berner Brothers🙂
You should keep the one of a kind fruit bowl. It is stunning in your kitchen!
You have to keep that bowl it fits so awesome in your kitchen ❤
I loved this group trip! ❤
Love your vlogs! Hugs from NY
Its fun to see friends doing things together. Im old now and many of my friends have passed or have moved away to be closer to the grandchildren. I understand that, but I miss having someone to do something with.
❤️ Wish I could thrift with you in person! Grateful you take time to thrift virtually with me ❤️
Yes, more.
Looked like you and your friends had a great time on this shopping trip. And you got some right bargos too.
Wow, great buy
If you and I went shopping together, we would be elbowing each other to get to the goods! LOL! We have so much of the same tastes! I wonder what you're doing right this minute in Japan! So cool that you're doing these trips!
Oh my gosh, you're so beautiful. You always look, so I'll wait till the tea.Perfect perfect.I love your stuff
KEEP the bowl!!!!!!! 🤩
Oh,please come and pick thru my two large totes of jewelry.Lots of vintage stuff in there and lots of signed pieces. Love watching you.
So fun shopping and wonderful finds. Just a thought on some of the jewelry you're thinking about converting (although I realize it's probably too late) : rather than removing the pin backing to make the pieces pendants, why not just add a bale to the back so that the new owner can use the piece as either? I have several older pieces that have this and I love it.
I wish I could find a tin frame like that! I am in search of just the right one for a photo of my Grandparents!
Yes
I love the idea of displaying necklaces on the child’s jacket/ outfit holder- did you buy that?
Laura, thrifting with you has become thrifting with you and your friends, all lovely ladies, but it morefun to shop with you, that's what I meant to write. 🎉
More group shopping please!
Silver buttons might come from Norwegian Knut sweater or a bunad shirt ( national costume)
Laura, if you’re not familiar with Berner Brothers Auctions in Springfield, Ohio you need to check them out. They bought The Heart of Ohio Antique Mall and they are amazing. They have multiple online auctions daily plus What Not pop-up auctions. Jacob does TH-cam auctions daily. They are fab!
Love them🙂
More would be good 😅. I learned so much from you and your style
The green bird bowls that you said were From Mexico are actually from Ireland .
Thanks Laura! Cool thrifting. Be blest☦️👩🏻🦳🥰‼️
Thanks!
Thank you so much for the kind gesture Shelley!! 🩵🩵🩵
Love eating at Local Ocean in Newport! Best clam cakes I've ever had!
Wow! You have such a good eye for quality!
You need to keep the wood fruit bowl for your tiki party!❤
Ohhhh I love this idea!
More group shopping.
You mentioned on one of your videos I was watching last night. Wonder if anyone would watch you six hours straight I would!
That wood piece you want to turn into a pendant should go on that heavy chain...
Yes that was a wonderful trip, wish l could have come 😢
When are you going to reno 'little Italy'?
Don't remove the pin from the brooch, only add a pendant loop or simply use a converter.
I have a oriental silk picture. Nobody wants to buy it for $20. Still in the plastic covering it was bought in.
