While all three light fixtures are gorgeous in their own right, the dragon scale fixture gets my vote. Color, eye appeal, and it doesn't block the view of your gorgeous kitchen. I say hang it there until you come across another one you think would be perfect.
Give #3 another chance, please! It's the one. Try it with some round white opaque bulbs to mirror the other lamp and just let it hang for a few days. The other three, although gorgeous, are just too commanding. You need a "Best Supporting" here (not a "Star") to harmonize with the good vibes you already have going. The house is looking better and better. I enjoy how you and your husband each contribute. You have a great Man there!
I agree 100%! Once you add shades the fixture will appear larger as well, and white opaque globes are the way to go. At a minimum try the light with the glass globes before you dismiss it.
Hi Laura, the pottery plate with the blue floral handpainted design is from Andalusia, Spain. Its showing a pomegranate plant with the two fruits on left and right side. Its the important symbolic fruitplant you also can see it in the Coat of Arms from the City of Granada. Most pottery from the region of Granada is decorated with this design and also in daily use. Greetings from Germany :)
No i loved the googly eyes it gave it a soul😄 Don't know about the thistle plate but the Thistle is the flower of Scotland which is why you see them all over Scotland. My husband is Scottish and when he died (8 years ago) i got a Thistle tattoo as a reminder😊
@@leftcoastrevivals Thank you🙂 Another fun fact about Scotland. The Unicorn is their National Animal🦄😄 You gotta love the Scots they walk to the beat of their own drum😄
I had one on these when I was a teen. It was light blue and gray plaid. Loved the pockets. Wore it for at least 15-20yrs. Until I grew out of it. Loved it so much.
My light pick is #1 the wonderful milk glass garlic bulb. And I actually gasped when you pulled that first beautiful Pendleton off the rack. Oh, those big ol' buttons ❤
I love this video all the lady's are so sweet you can tell y'all just have the best times and looking out for what each other likes it's just so nice to see, Team no ruffles ❤ More videos like this Hun ❤️ 😊 xxx You found some great stuff really you always do but this was a great thrift day😊
#4, is my pick! It reminds me of the light in the 1960's that hung in my childhood friends dinner table at her home. Her dad was an architect who studied under Frank Loyd Wright.
Exactly 12 years ago today I collected my bestie and spent a day thrifting before we were to pickup another friend and go to a spa town for the weekend. We filled the SUV and had to go home and unload before driving into the night. It was a fabulous weekend.
I absolutely love the dragon scale lamp, but I could imagine that with the round light bulbs, number 3 would be also pretty good, it may even look a bit bigger with the light bulbs. And I really like these little dotflowers in the middle of the lamp, so unique!
Glad you took the Google eyes off the owl, a detail I didn’t catch on video! Great haul. Love you went with a group friends, always fun. Love to hear you describe your finds and history. The shelf you bought is beautiful. You have to KEEP all three of those ceiling light fixtures! Each one is sooooo special and unique. I couldn’t choose!
Laura, thar plant corner of your studio is magnificent, with the blue walls complementing the various greens so well! Can you please do an episode on just thrifted pots and vases and how to choose the right plants with the vases for best display? ❤
For the light fixture I would use round Edison type bulbs vs the led ones that are in it currently. I would have gotten the tree drawing, it is beautiful.
I tell you what; I am in LOVE, LOVE LOVE with your Scales lamp? Even though it is thin; the design and just the sheer lovliness of that one is a winner to me. It gives quite a sculptural appeal to your area. *This is just me; but, since that area you're lighting is not a more formal larger dining room- I think that it works. Although, I know it's sometimes fun to switch up if you want something new.
How fun! I hope I can make friends one day and go thrifting, that's such a goal! I love the #2 light fixture the best, it's such a nice contrast. I wonder how it looks lit?... 🤔
Number 2! The brass dragon scale lamp fits the best, and the huge white saucer ( no 4) is too big, and blocks half the virw of the kitchen, out of space , pan intended:)) Number 2 is just perfect 👌
So happy I can still count on you for palette reviews when several other of my favorite creators have been going in different directions on their channels!
I loved the dragon light and would love to see it lit up. Maybe put it up for now so we can see. It’s so unique. Enjoyed this video. Fun girls trip. You have great stores in Oregon.
#1 needs to hang in your kitchen corner so pretty #2 in a library nook it's my favorite love it. The tassle is awesome #3 sell #4 I said OMG right out loud!!!
The third one looks great/ best. You can find/make globes that will make it look wider and bigger. If you get globes that are amber color or beaded in beautiful colors that will go well with your kitchen (or a pop of color) and a little see thru you hit the jackpot🤗
The bird bowl that the dealer forgot to remove the goodwill tag looked like Horus to me, maybe Egyptian? Really 😎 cool. Love the owl too! Reminds me of Minervas owl of wisdom
The dragon scale light fixture is to die for, an absolute show stopper😍 Team no ruffle.
Exactly my thoughts too!
dragon scale.
I love it. No to the brass
@@Paulsofsteel😊😊😊
My vote is lamp 2 !
The dragon scale light fixture - hands down the most beautiful architectural piece.
Isn’t it amazing!? 🤩

I was thinking the same.
Yes , well said great ideas.
Or the round Edison type ones.
#3 with the right bulbs , lower it few links and you’ll get a nice light over your table. Won’t block kitchen just add charm.

Love light fixture number 2 - the dragon :)
I love the proportions of the dragon light in the room. I don’t think it’s too skinny. It’s perfect.
No i loved the googly eyes it gave it a soul😄 Don't know about the thistle plate but the Thistle is the flower of Scotland which is why you see them all over Scotland. My husband is Scottish and when he died (8 years ago) i got a Thistle tattoo as a reminder😊
Sorry for your loss. That's a nice tribute though--and interesting info about Scotland.
I’m so sorry for your loss! What a beautiful way to remember him ❤️
@@susanalfieri4487 Thank you🙂
@@leftcoastrevivals Thank you🙂
Another fun fact about Scotland. The Unicorn is their National Animal🦄😄
You gotta love the Scots they walk to the beat of their own drum😄
The owl needed his eyes. They gave him a soulful look IMO.
The first Pendleton jacket you pulled is a vintage Pendleton 49er. The buttons are mother of pearl. Very valuable piece!
YES!!! Especially without holes. Moths LOVE the old ones, unfortunately. Store it in a garment bag!
I had one on these when I was a teen. It was light blue and gray plaid. Loved the pockets. Wore it for at least 15-20yrs. Until I grew out of it. Loved it so much.
I actually love light #1. I know it’s not everybody’s 1st choice, but I think it’s beautiful!
My light pick is #1 the wonderful milk glass garlic bulb.
And I actually gasped when you pulled that first beautiful Pendleton off the rack. Oh, those big ol' buttons ❤
Finally someone who chose No 1 I thought it was perfect 😊
Jesse said no to #1 lol
1 vote for #2
Team “no ruffle” remove it and let the wood feet show(if they are good) if not change them out😁
I love this video all the lady's are so sweet you can tell y'all just have the best times and looking out for what each other likes it's just so nice to see,
Team no ruffles ❤
More videos like this Hun ❤️ 😊 xxx
You found some great stuff really you always do but this was a great thrift day😊
The Dragonscale light is simply perfect. It does not obstruct the view, the color and uniqueness are fabulous.
Goes wonderfully in your home. ❤
#4, is my pick! It reminds me of the light in the 1960's that hung in my childhood friends dinner table at her home. Her dad was an architect who studied under Frank Loyd Wright.
#2 and #3. The brass looks way better than white. Also you can put in artistic looking bulbs instead of the shades in #3
Dragon scale #2 gets my vote
#3 with the right bulbs that compliment the ones in the living room. GORGEOUS.
Agreed 👍
One more thing you and Jesse have to be happy 😊 You both will know when you find it. Happy light hunting 😊
# 3 agreed.
Dragon scale light is spectacular ❤
I LOVE 2!!! It’s perfect and doesn’t obstruct the view to your kitchen.
Exactly 12 years ago today I collected my bestie and spent a day thrifting before we were to pickup another friend and go to a spa town for the weekend. We filled the SUV and had to go home and unload before driving into the night. It was a fabulous weekend.
That sounds like the most fabulous weekend ever! I can’t imagine how much fun you all had. ☺️🙌
I love this!!!
Love all the light fixtures, but I have to say #3. The dragon scale fixture looks perfect against the teal color wall!! Much ❤ 😊
Absolutely the dragon scale light fixture!
The dragon scale light looked stunning in my opinion.
The dragon scale light is amazing and so unique. Team no ruffle.
#2Lamp, no question about it. It's perfect!
I vote for light option number 4, because it echoes the shape of the kitchen pendant lights. Hope you two have good luck in your search!
The Herman Miller does block your kitchen tiles but is so joyful and invites you to your table! Great video!!
I love number 2 a lot with the dragon scales
Dragon scale lamp is spectacular! Looks so good in that space.
I absolutely love the dragon scale lamp, but I could imagine that with the round light bulbs, number 3 would be also pretty good, it may even look a bit bigger with the light bulbs. And I really like these little dotflowers in the middle of the lamp, so unique!
#2 is a winner! It works so well with your space!
I love all those fire king coffee cups. I only have one been looking for some.
Glad you took the Google eyes off the owl, a detail I didn’t catch on video! Great haul. Love you went with a group friends, always fun. Love to hear you describe your finds and history. I liked the clothes you picked, I would like to see you do a try on and style....the dress, the vest, the pendletons....
I like #4. Simple and doesn't distrack from view towards kitchen.
I tell you what; I am in LOVE, LOVE LOVE with your Scales lamp? Even though it is thin; the design and just the sheer lovliness of that one is a winner to me.
