Nui ah-dul-yee 니 아들이 means Your son. I must say thisnguys accent and language skill is terrible. Why don't they just get a proper translator? Dumbasses.
People talking about how the jokes wouldn’t work today, but the beautiful part of Harold and Kumar is that their race is never the butt of the joke. It’s always the racist white guys that you’re laughing at. This movie is the biggest Jab at the government post 9/11 and how paranoid they’ve become and it’s amazing.
No, it's definitely the uhh woke stuff that uhh, made people unfunny. Uhh, cancel culture stuff. Yeah that's it. The left canceled comedy so it's illegal to laugh or be funny. I saw that on Twitter so it's true.
Don’t even attempt to try and explain that to anyone. Most people that say that shit don’t seem to understand the difference between a joke meant to be funny, I.e. parody, which can be quite literally made about any subject as long as it’s actually coming from a place of humor, vs thinly veiled hatred for the sole sake of hatred, which doesn’t tend to be very funny. Which is what makes it all the more hilarious that I don’t know a single person to the left of the aisle that would be offended by Harold and Kumar and yet I still constantly hear the refrain of “can’t make that movie today” from the opposite side. It really just comes down to this: Are you making a joke intended to poke fun at the ridiculous nature of the human experience at large, regardless what subject you’re making fun of, be it race, sexuality, religion, gender, who gives a Fvck? or are you just pushing a political agenda and making “jokes” that only serve to legitimately attack those you don’t like? It’s never funny in either direction if it’s coming from a seriously partisan place. That’s why Blazing Saddles is still beloved by all and yet most can agree guys like Steven Crowder have never said a funny thing. Kind of weird that even though Blazing Saddles has a pretty high “N-Word” count compared to Crowder, it’s still infinitely less offensive and much more hilarious than anything he spews out of his face hole. But hey, “wokeness”.
I love how they're racist and the parents are offended by it but they also portray the stereotype of the Indian parents that want their kid to be a doctor.
Man, I remember watching this 15 years ago and thinking they were laying it on a bit thick, but every line lands now I've re-watched it. The biggest thing that's changed is the Homeland Security guys' faces suddenly look young to me now, instead of old/older ;p

Funny how Harold's parents have absolutely no accent, but Harold has an itty bitty one; while Kumar's parents have very heavy accents, but Kumar has no accent whatsoever.
The crazy thing is that this shit is real! You don't know how many times people have spoken to me real slow and simple, I respond in perfect English and they continue to talk that way!!
After Harold and Kumar returned from White Castle, Kumar said that he was going to tell his dad to reschedule his medical school interview but, it sounds like Kumar never told him as what his dad said from 1:53-1:56 since it sounds like Kumar decided to sneak away to the airport without telling his dad and that whole epiphany thing Kumar said in White Castle about how he enjoyed saving that one patients life, seeing Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Doogie Houser, and the yelling persuasion from his dad gave him the idea to want to attend the interview and be a doctor.
@@michals2351 You probably didn't see the movie "Harold And Kumar Go To White Castle", so I will have to explain it here. On that film, Kumar had two medical school interviews, the first he misbehaved and didn't get admission and his father told him that he has one more interview the next day and said that he better attend and behave even though Kumar wasn't interested and Kumar said that he will attend as a lie. Then at the end of the movie after Harold and Kumar finished their White Castle meal, Kumar said that he will actually attend his interview explaining that he found it enjoyable doing something medical on a patient who almost died, getting a yelling persuasion from his dad, and seeing Neil Patrick Harris as Dr. Dougie Houser (he and Harold are fans of Neil Patrick Harris) gave Kumar the idea to want to be a doctor for him to attend his interview. Then when Harold and Kumar returned home, Kumar said that they should go to Amsterdam since Harold's new girlfriend Maria was going there where Harold said to Kumar "but what about your interview?" where Kumar said that he will tell his dad to reschedule it. Then here in this scene from 1:53-1:56, it explains that Kumar never told his dad to reschedule the interview and that he was flying out to Amsterdam where his dad was assuming he had the interview and just started medical school.
@@str8ballinSA There were enough commas, periods, parenthesis in my sentences, I don't know why you didn't understand and I didn't like to have to explain everything when you should have seen "Harold And Kumar Go To White Castle."
