I'm grateful to have had him in my life since 1982, having seen him in concerts over 70 times and having met him more than 20 times in all those years....memories to last a lifetime. King George won't ever really go away...his music stands the test of time and will continue to do so....we'll always have that incredible golden voice to delight us!!!

I remember my first George concert in Vancouver, BC, I ordered 1 ticket on line, made an excuse to leave work early and drove north from Seattle to catch the show last minute! A fan since the beginning---spent 4.5 years at Ft Sam Houston, Texas and was thrilled to breathe his air....my kids grew up listening to his music and last year attended their 1st concert with me!

Unbeknowst to me, he was at this event announcing a retirement tour when a portrait I painted of him from when I got to meet him in 2008, fell off the wall over my fireplace mantle. I felt that something major happened concerning George and feared what it was. How relieved I was to learn that George is just still growing.....in a different direction!! I hope I get to see you in concert again, George.
