I tried this recipe and it was fantastic! best lamb I've ever had by far! I cooked mine in the oven for around 8 minutes for a perfect medium rare, thanks for sharing
Made this recipe, marinated for 1-2 hours, then onto the charcoal grill for 3 minutes a side(time will depend on temperature) came out a beautiful medium rare very flavorful and most important JUICY!! Amazing recipe. Thumbs up👍🏽
I do 220 for bout 20 minutes. But for Christmas imma do the lowest temperature for bout 20 minutes. They a real tender meat so I cook them low and slow regardless of how
what if you don't have skillet pan is this step necessary to fry on the pan first then bake, or can it be baked straight in the oven please? looks very delicious im going to try this soon x
@@CookingWithClaudyoh! Ok thank you ma'am and my apologies. I did watch the entire video but didn't catch the part where you said to bake. EXCELLENT work
I am having dinner with some good people, we are doing chops, potatoes and carrots, curried chickpeas/garbanzo beans, and rice. I will have to do this style, I love how it is well done. Looks so good!
Oh my my my Chef Claudy 👩🏾🍳your lamb chops are soooo mouth watering bursting with intense flavours and the Aroma is💯 I love the way you sealed in the juices on the cooker beforehand so it comes out of the oven tender and soo Succulent 😋oh soo Yummylicious. I honestly wish they were in front of me. Well done Chef Claudy 👸🏽👏👏See you in the next one. 🙋🏽♂️💐💖💐💛🧡💛
Is there a process to rid of the gaminess of lamb ? I indulge my son though it is terribly expensive . I tried the Chinese way of using ginger , scallions , rice wine but I still cannot stand the very potent smell that sticks to your hands once you touch it.
Thought these were supposed to be oven baked am I the only one who missed this? Not knocking on them they do look great and juicy just figured they are oven baked

Hi, could you tell me what temp you used for the oven and did you place them after frying them?
I followed the recipe as called for 400 degrees F, and just put the cast iron skillet in the oven after searing them@@Stargazer9900

My nephew calls me Claudy, LOVE this!!
How long would I cook it in the oven if i only wanted to bake it?

First time watching your channel. The lambchops looked DELICIOUS! So, I subscribed. You should think about doing a cookbook.😊
My goodness, this looks so good!!! I love that you cooked them well throughout, personally, I do not like red in any meat. Are you Ghanaian?
Looks yum but where was oven use?
I expect she put the frying pan (skillet) in the oven for 10 minutes like she said
@@jeannie920ohhh ok thank you. Was lost at that part too. Didn’t know if she transfer in a oven dish or what
I tried it too it's the best

Sear on any pan to give it the crispy taste and char look, also traps in the juice. Then transfer to any bakeware. I highly recommend searing
@Cooking With Claudy aw thank you for your quick response x will do!
Looks so Delicious. I am gonna make them next weekend.
It looks so delicious 🤤
Which chopper did you use in this video? Is the chopper on Amazon?
It's right here amzn.to/3HYyu2h
Looks good, I will try it.

Oh, this looks so good! Definitely going to make this weekend. Thank you

Looks good. But im confused somewhat because it says oven baked in description.

What would go good with lamb chops
Roasted Potatoes
Couscous and salad
I am having dinner with some good people, we are doing chops, potatoes and carrots, curried chickpeas/garbanzo beans, and rice.
I will have to do this style, I love how it is well done. Looks so good!
Mashed potatoes and asparagus
Smashed potatoes, broccoli or asparagus or even some yellow or white rice.

Yu just put in oven after. But do we put foil paper. ? Or butter in the baking pan. Or just transfer from stove straight in pan n that’s it ?
Yes from stove to oven in an oven friendly pan
Great job!!
Do you oven bake them uncovered or covered with foil?
Uncovered please
No uncovered
Lovely dinner , I must confess. Keep up the good creative skills.
Thanks so much
I’m making it now
Im a rookie at lamb but im gonna do a tour instructions looks delicious
This was sooooooo Good. Thank you sweat heart for this. ❤❤❤❤
Yay! Thanks so much for the feedback
Thank you
Looks amazing! ❤ thank you for sharing the recipe. I can't wait to try this out
My pleasure 😊
Looks Delicious 😊👍🏻
I want to try this. What can be the substitute of red bell pepper? I can't find it easily.
Use yellow or green bell pepper
@@CookingWithClaudy green peppers are easily available.
Could I add some mustard?
Those lamb chops would be perfect after the sear. They're so thin, they would be medium rare, if they were room temp before you seared them.
No! thank you..
Looks yummy
Why did you place that hot skillet on your counter with no place mat underneath?
Because it granite. A stone!
@@CookingWithClaudy
Oh ok 👌
Nice dish btw
How to know the time to put inside the oven to bake ?
4:12 Here you go!
She said on 400 degrees but it's best to cook according to your oven my oven get hot really fast so I go under the usual giving time
This looks amazing....Sam's club is offering some New Zealand lamb chops right now a great deal
im making it now. If there as delicious as you make them sound. Thumbs up. 5star.
Hope you enjoy
Can I use a regular pan if i don’t have a cast skillet pan
Yes you can but it should be oven friendly
What the ingredients please
It looks so easy when you do it 😅 I’m gonna burn it 😂😂😂😂
WOW, gotta be done, thank you!
Masarap.
Really juicy and yummy
Thanks a lot
There is a smell in lamb how to get rid of that smell
😢 if it's too old it's going to smell but I think the lemon and vinegar wash first helps remove the rank smell
This intro made me feel like I was watching terryanne kitchen
Dear clarify how it becomes soft as no tenderizer used in it ? It must be chewy not cotton soft
Soft as in tender. Pan seared and baked
👍👌

Soak in milk

Not over cooked video don't lie
Hi
Thought these were supposed to be oven baked am I the only one who missed this? Not knocking on them they do look great and juicy just figured they are oven baked
I watched the video because it says oven baked. Seems its misleading.
At 4:27 she specifically says " and right now, I'm going to transfer this to a preheated oven..."
She transfers it to the oven at 4:27
It's not oven cook. It's fried one... 😢
I wish I had smellavision
so delicious
