"Caring for Transgender Youth with Dignity and Respect"

On January 24, 2022, Dr. Samantha Busa, clinical director of the Gender and Sexuality Service and Clinical Associate Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Child Study Center at Hassenfeld Children's Hospital at NYU Langone, presented as part of our Lunch & Learn series.
In this talk, Dr. Busa discussed risk and resilience factors for transgender youth, how to provide an affirming environment, and how to promote dignity and respect for transgender individuals.⁠
