- On April 9th, 2024, Dr. James Tuttle (He/Him), Assistant Professor of Sociology and Criminology at the University of Montana presented as part of our Lunch & Learn Series.
In his presentation, Professor Tuttle presented the historical pattern of the “age-crime curve” and how it has recently changed according to data on male arrests. He discusses the practical implications of this shift, potential causes for the decline in teenage law-breaking, and a potential opportunity to emphasize the successes of diversion programs for youth in contact with the juvenile justice system.
