My heritage is majority Norwegian and I love hearing about life in Norway. The Lillihammer (sp) Olympics was fun to watch, way back when, because of our heritage.
I am a bit surprised to see you have a Pomeranian! Which just makes it clear that I have no idea about the breeds of dogs available as well as popular in different parts of the world.. 😱🤨🤣😘
They're adorable dogs! And at least more suited to that climate than Siberian huskies are suited for California and Nevada. It will be close to 100° here this week. My dogs are short haired, two of them enjoy snow days... Anyway... Cheers to a sister from the motherland!! 😘💞💖
-7ºC Summer Time 😆. For someone that lives in a place that reaches 30ºC or above on a typical summer day this is really fun 🤣. Where I live summers are closer to hell sometimes 🫣 I don't like them at all 🙃
Winnie is such a good boy he is getting really comfortable and natural in front of the camera 💕.

I've bought and sewn so many toys for my cats that get played with twice and then never again... Meanwhile a dogtoy-sized braid of old bedsheet offcuts gets played with again and again. Dang cats. 😅

It's a gorgeous top and fits you so nicely! Uhh I can imagine the skirt would also look lovely in a viscose linen (which I love and have myself, sadly, at least the ones I have still wrinkle quite a bit, but not as much as pure linen at least...) Love that Pinkie and Winnie get along! They are both too cute and always a lovely addition to your fantastic videos

winnie vs the piece of kibble...i was weeping with laughter!! oh my goodness, how adorable and hilarious! i think you need to sew a pom-sized "baby" carrier so you can wear him on your chest while keeping your hands free for sewing etc. :)

The top turned out really cute!❤ I have a similar one I bought years ago, I'm not really wearing anymore because it is too short and all in all may be a little small now. But what I really like about it is that it has some elastic woven into a part of the back (there is probably a name for that technique, I don't know), that way it is easy to put on and off and sits figurehugging when on. So maybe that could be something you could also try, if you'd like to acchieve a more figurehugging look, but it is also cute how it is now, so I totally understand why you want to make it in many different colours :) Only the bows, even though they are really cute, seem to make it more unpractical for everyday wear because when wearing a bag on top of it, it may hurt the skin underneath - but that is just a prediction, it would be really interesting to hear a follow up from you in a few months, when you have worn your vintage pieces for some time, how they work for you, what you'd definetly would do the same way and what you change a little bit to fit it better for your needs. :)
I love how you call the vintage wardrobe just a witch wardrobe now😂 But it isn't totally wrong some of your pieces definetly have something whimsical about them. Especially the magic skirt, if that isn't witchcraft 😉😂✨

A small feedback regarding the video editing: I really like the way you edit and narrate your videos, just the captions on the black background in the end changed a little too fast to read them comfortably. Just something to keep in mind for next time :)

Hello, just wanted to say that the back of the top you had sounds like it was shirred. It’s a technique when elastic is stretched and sewn to the fabric to make it fitted. It kinda looks all scrunched up on its self when it’s not worn. It’s great to make something fitted but have some wiggle room when you move/breath lol.

The capsule wardrobe is taking shape! I'm absolutely in love with the reversible wrap skirts and will try to figure out how to make one myself. They are gorgeous!
🐻❤ I LOVE your videos! :) As a former doggroomer, I can't help myself to give you some flufball advice haha :) I can see Winnie has a super fluffy booty and it might be a good idea to already bring him to a groomer, as the sooner you bring them in, the easier it will be for him and the groomer in the long run! :D He'll get used to the sounds and sensations, his fur will look the best it can and it saves so much stress for everyone involved. Maybe you already thought of this yourself, I hope you don't mind my comment. It's super clear you're the best pup mom ever and he clearly adores you as well, which is a joy to watch! 🥰
Why a groomer instead of brush him herself? She has hands and arms and a brush not expensiv. This is advice for people that don't want to care for their own dogs.
@@AnniCarlsson With some dog breeds that's absolutely possible, and reasonable. Some breeds have coats that need regular trimming, and it's kind of complicated because there are two types of fur.
It's not just a made up "lazy people spend money thing". Although a responsible breeder, or adoption agency is going to ensure that the human is aware of, and willing to accept the cost or effort involved with adopting an animal that needs more specific grooming - not all do.
Choosing to do complex grooming at home can be an option. But there's a learning curve. And even if you choose that option, getting the animal familiar with the noises and the tools early on, after familiarizing yourself, is going to help.
@AnniCarlsson doggies with this type of coat will most probably need a groomer at some point in their lives. I'm not at all talking about shaving or anything, it's purely because they are SO fluffy they need a hand getting through their sheds to keep their coat in good condition. Ideally, they'd go to the groomer every 6 months to a year just to help them through the shed. She could do it herself of course, but there's more technique to it than just brushing it with your arms and a brush. Especially once the puppy coat turns into a grown-up coat. It is also pretty timeconsuming to do it properly, even with a tiny pupper like Winnie. Seeing she has a busy life I'm thinking she might not have the time or experience to do it herself. Which is why it's good to bring them to a groomer at a young age, as they are in the best stage of their life now to learn new things in a positive way, and this will help immensly in the future to make washing and grooming a positive experience. There's nothing worse than having to wash a dog that needs your help, but is extremely stressed.
Think of it like sewing, with no experience you could probably still make something wearable from needle, thread and a piece of fabric, but it takes knowledge, time and the right tools to do it exactly right. :) That's why there's professionals doing it.

Winnie has an ear infection that is most infectious to cats. 😵💫 Winnie grew up with cats, so he already had the infection when he came to us. I'm glad our vet decided to have a look at his ear wax under the microscope 🤢 now I understand why Pinky didn't like the way Winnie smelled! think thats same fabric I made pants of. both color and typ. me obsessed by the feeling of that linnen /viscos thin they have. have a wrapdress and 2 more wide leg pants in it and want to make a few more stuff to . lovely flow without slipper all over the place. I do prefer the slightly darker version so next green is in the darker one for me

When Winnie starts running like this, we call it his turbo speed😂😂 he tucks his tail under, makes a really funny face and keeps running back and forth😂❤️ I was born and raised in Poland 🇵🇱🥳 I love my country but I was always a curious cat, so I travelled quite a bit after my Uni and ended up settling in Norway for absolutely no good reason 😂 the country just sucked me in like a fly trap😂❤️

Hello! To be honest, I am still asking myself the same question! The first year I moved to Norway, the spring and summer were warmer than in Spain🤯. Last year, it rained almost nonstop the whole summer, and it felt like autumn came right after July.😂 I guess it's a gamble, and I just took it🙈 please keep your fingers crossed! I promise to record the first day that's actually warm enough to wear that top without a sweater on!😂❤️❤️❤️

I have found the same Fabric as ThisIsKachi used for one of her models... So I'm pretty sure we can find the same fabric across many of the countries.
My local Self-made allows me to cut my fabric on one of the big tables. I don't have the table or floor space at home
