    We encountered the 2020 Ducati Panigale V2 at a street event and then another one at a track event. Luckily Ducati's are extremely popular here in California.

    Hey Dave, I just watched this and remembered that time you helped me out at Mac Park early this year. Thanks again. I raced the Vitpilen in early March and had sooooo much fun!!! Plan was to race it all year but COVID lockdowns came along :( Since then I have picked up a Daytona 675 for track use only, and also a Panigale V2 for use as my street bike. Good times!! Can't wait for racing to begin again! Stay well and maybe I'll cross paths with you again sometime.

      Tori!!! Hi :) My pleasure and great to see the progress you made so quickly..... We just started racing here, so it might not be too long for you. Hope I can make it too Aussie again In January 2021 and look forward to working with you again.

    Hi Dave, From Argentina. I have been tunning my suspension myself thanks to your videos, and realized that they know nothing of tunning suspension in the official workshop here. Still finding the right spot but WAY better than before. (Ducati 959) And what you mentioned of the rear suspension is the first thing that I realized with this bike and that I'd better tune it myself instead of them.

    Hi Dave, I have a HD street glide. Can it's suspension be tuned or is tuning only for performance bikes?

    • @catalystreactionsbw
      @catalystreactionsbw  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Mark - most any bike can be set up to work well via geometry and suspension. If you have twin shocks, tension can be set correctly based on travel used. 30w fork oil can stop the feathering/cupping. Some upgrade shocks and fork internals or change to an air ride system for the rear shock.

    Dave, just for clarification at the end of the video you say to the rider, you need more rebound. So... this means less rebound dampening, right? SO you are then opening up the valving, correct? Or are you talking short-hand and it means the opposite?

    • @catalystreactionsbw

    Hi Dave, just bought a V2. I weigh 80kg. Can you give me an idea of the sag front and rear and what rebound/compression settings I should use for the street. Cheers

    • @catalystreactionsbw
      @catalystreactionsbw  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Set rider sag at 30-35mm for the forks. Set static sag on the rear shock at 12-15mm then ride and see how much fork and shock travel you use. Next set compression at 50% of the total range for the forks and shock and ride again. Based on travel used you will be able to get an idea of what to do with compression for softer/harder settings based on your roads and your speeds. Only set rebound damping when fork and shock of is hot and there are videos on this topic for you to watch for reference.

    • @catalystreactionsbw
      @catalystreactionsbw  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Start by getting static sag set correctly on the rear shock. Got for 12-15mm to start. Once that is set, the riding position should improve dramatically. If you have done this and it does not, the reach seat to tank is too far, so you might consider acquiring bars that are closer to you.

Nor is the cost of the bikes, testing, maintenance and replacement parts for filming. Nor is my time answering every question that arrives on this channel. I hope you are independently wealthy and can do everything for free for others. If so, perhaps you would like to sponsor this channel to cover all operating costs so the content can be free?

      A Rizk you’re being very disrespectful and you’re also misinformed. Making videos does cost money! If you spend some of your professional time on it, you’re not out there making money on other activities. Let alone if you hire someone to do it. DMT are advertising their services by making free videos you can actually learn from and use. I haven’t given them a cent and I’ve learnt more here than talking to “experienced” fellow riders. Also, you’re not entitled to anything except your human rights, no one owes you free videos. Just be thankful for what you get and pay if you want more.

      @JMartinsATV 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      A Rizk alright buddy, since you’re craving free lessons so much, here you go: A) you could be 100% right and still the way you said it was rude. That’s a definition of disrespectful for you. B) clickbait... maybe. If this were the first video you watch from this channel, you may expect a full lesson when it’s really not. It does say “intro” in the title though (and they usually say “here’s a preview” in the beginning of the video, this one doesn’t)... C) False advertising would be to promise something that is not delivered. Did anyone promise you a gold bar at the start of the video? I never got mine... D) YOU are making this channel out to be something it’s not: the whole DMT service/experience is live in person and on their own website. TH-cam is literally a source of potential customers. E) YOU come to TH-cam to save money. I often use it to spend my money on the best choice of product/service. The platform itself is open to many kinds of videos, with many purposes. It’s not wrong to publish previews and advertisements of paid private services. And it’s appreciated to offer nuggets of knowledge when doing so. F) TH-cam revenue, on videos with these view rates, is negligible. G) You are completely right to feel disappointed this channel is not EXACTLY what you wanted, that’s your opinion. It doesn’t give you the right to be less than polite when addressing people. H) if you’re going to bother to reply, make sure you’re respectful and what you’re saying is meaningful. Otherwise, I’m not wasting any more time on you. School’s out.
