You are a track demon yourself 👍🏻 I didn't know anything about this Ducati Cup series until my last track day at Brands GP two weeks ago, where two of the gladiators Matt Stevens from Tech 5 racing and Peter Hasler of AOR were testing their race bikes. Matt and Peter shared my garage, and to cut a long story short Matt very kindly suggested I follow him for 3 laps for the fast back section around Dingle dell. Both are such nice blokes, very friendly and super talented racers. After a spot of googlery I found the amazing field of racers in that series. The likes of John McGuiness MBE and TT God, and the fantastic Chris Walker, ex BSB champ, and more. Amazing field and BSB support series where all the bikes are equal. The V2 is an absolute awesome machine for sure. Thanks for sharing this awesome video.

John is a great racer and even bigger gentleman. I've had the pleasure of meeting him and spending time with him track side at Daytona International Speedway. Having said that, his race bike has got to be one of the ugliest race Ducatis I've ever seen.

Would this be an option for a former cyclist who wants to get into moto? I have some moto experince years ago could one start slow on this and grow into it relatively safely? Love the bike and don’t want to bother buying and selling used bikes wasting $$

Having test rode on last year I succumbed to my sons deal with his favourite ducati dealer in Sheffield and bought a V2 today and the mere thought that I will be riding the road bike that John Raced at BSB Tri Options is a blast 💥! Thanks John and Bennett’s for this awesome vlog and thanks John my son Chandler Warren (ex BSB racer) thanks you too! Now the. Sylvain Guintoli my son promised he would organise a bit of yracday instruction sometime! I feel it coming on this year!

ya cant tell me john'mc hasnt had his engine down to ;tony scott' for a blueprint..? but good on him, great choice of race class...keep it fun like it used to be before big sponsorship etc.. ducati's in my eyes are v twins...not v fours.... lovely bikes nonetheless

Nice one ,wish I could still ride the sports bikes ,the V2 looks perfect but unless I can get new wrists and back my multistrada 1260 pikes peak will continue to provide my giggles lol,great vid with a one of my idols 👍

If he has the Akro system it's lighter and has a tune as standard that gets a bit more BHP.

Turns out you don't need to spend 15.000 euros on aftermarket parts as long as the base is good.

Nothing weird about it at all. Dainese has had this option with boots and suits for a long time.
Yes, they're known as inner boots - just check that well known racer, Valentino Rossi, he along with all racers wearing Dainese opt for this format.

Not familiar with Ducati
Why do they sound so tinny, is it the exhaust.
Had plenty of bikes Honda, GXSR and Kawasaki, none sounded like that.
Maybe on strangled stock exhaust. With pipes I don't think anyone would call them tinny though.
