But my mom was like, “what’s burning?” My sister said, “her insensé.” (My other sister used to use it because she thought it smelt nice.) and I said, “my candle wasn’t lighting sorry.” And I got so scared that she’d yell at me or find out that I practice all of this she is judgemental... :(

Like you, I tend to draw the letters of a Sigil using letters that look like Norse Runes. Sometimes I even convert them into Runes. I believe they have a more profound impact on the subconscious.

Very cool. I attended a workshop on the Spring Equinox at Treadwell's a couple of weeks ago and we drew sigils on hard boiled eggs which we later consumed.
We are studying codes in writing in our homeschooling. Thank you for this video we incorporated into our writing class this week so my girla were able to understand and create their first sigils!
Nice and straightforward. I do enjoy using sigils and I wear a permanent one.........which needs a cleanse and recharge most probably lol
I would love to learn more about sigils especially the permanent ones or at least how to go about keeping your intentions with it going. Would love to make a protection sigil for my home that I could place around the inside and possibly outside spaces of my home as well.
All magick is done in the mind.........so, to maintain any sigil, all you do is to give it your energy on an ongoing basis.......this is done by intentionally focusing on it at recurring times. For example, if it is a visible sigil that you see every day, simply renew its meaning in your mind as you glance at it. This takes only a moment and imparts the necessary energy to sustain its purpose. In plain language, what you are doing is creating and maintaining a thought form......which is the very basis of our life in matter.
I have a ritual that, as far as I can tell, is totally unique.
I write a spell on paper, addressing the Spirit Of All Things, (I don't personify the natural forces). I roll the paper into a cylinder around my pen, and then hold it on the edge of the bottom with needle-nose pliers. I burn the paper from the top of the cylinder while reciting the spell. I send the spell to the spirit world by way of fire. It behaves like a reverse-flow incense, filling a small clear bottle (about 10 ounces) with thick smoke from the bottom. I put the ash into a small caldron (earth on my pentacle) which I later mix with salt to make black salt. Then I put fine whiskey (spirits) and other alcohol into the smokey bottle, cap it, shake it well, then I send the spell by way of smoke and fire by uncapping the bottle and lighting the fumes from the top. A beautiful blue fire consumes the smoke from top of the bottle to the bottom and the smoke literally vanishes within the bottle. Then I end the ritual. (There is much more to the ritual of course, but keeping this concise).
What kinds of things have you achieved/acquired with this ritual?
I blew the last bit of the paper out after the sigil itself was burned and the paper went flying into my drink 😂🤷 does drinking my sigil make it more powerful 😂

:) when I'm on the phone i find myself doodling. I find that these are sigil like. I've never done anything with them but with the world today I should call my elders and see what i come up with and work with it.

I recommend The Occult by Colin Wilson. A whopping read but covers the basics, and is a very good place to start.
If you're not as confident in this form of sigil making theres also a wheel technique so it makes the sigil design much easier:)

to add in my 2 bit, if we charge and make sigils corresponding to the moon phases/lunar cycles (free apps galore),it would work faster plus you would be in sync with the most powerful planet connected with the occult.

Does ripping up a distructable sigil also charge it or does it have to be burned?
I believe it has to do with belief and intention, if you believe that ripping is the means of freeing the energy, sending it out, then do so.

I have a question once it's burnt how do you use the sigil ? Do you re draw it like how you do with Reiki symbols??? Also I want to stop a particular person from spreading lies. Could a sentence like this work? Example; '[persons name] lies will be revealed'. Would that work ?
what kind of sigil do you recommend me making for a sigil to make a specific person go away and never come back into my life? a temporary? destructive? or permanent?

Write their name on a piece of paper (birthday and a rough description of them is extra effective), fold the paper away from you and place the paper in the furthest corner of your freezer.

I create different bind runes for each situation. But always burn them when I use them in spellwork

I notice your sigil (what we get to see of it) is very 'rune-ish'. I created divine feminine runes several years ago--much more curve than Norse runes. I was raeding your post and began making sigils in the same way--only 'squaring' them off if I noticed a shape forming from the whole (like a diamond, let's say--if that makes sense). I was actually looking for a demo, I guess, on exactly what goes into the making of one and you don't show a lot of your doing so, which is what I thought the video at the end of the post would be as opposed to a live 'presentation' of what turns out to be the transcript of your video. Thank you for the insights, though. I am writing a tween novel and needed some of what you shared. The characters and I are discovering some cool stuff! ;)

Are sigils ever charged by playing music?
If you play music yourself, yes. Because it's gnosis
so will the distructable sigils be permenant? if the magic is activated after its distroyed and you then get wrid of the ashes dose the magic stay with you for ever? i really need a permenant sigil cauze i wanna fix a health problem for good. i have tried manifesting for it to be healed and it kinda worked but i still strugle with it and i think that i had some limiting belifs so it may have not fully worked so i wanna make a sigil to get wrid of it for good. also i have a nother question, should i get sigils tattoed? like i wouldnt do it all the time but if its a situation like this where i really need it to stay for ever is it a good idea to get them tattoed?
How easy is it for a sigil to backfire? Like for instance I created one for the sake of my mothers health(both physical and mental) but I’m worried that my fears of her worsening may have creeped into what I was actually trying to do and polluted it. Is this a possibility?

Also what if you by accident recreate the sigil of a deamon? Are you by proxy worshiping said deamon? I get that it’s intention based but Are you giving it the chance to interfere l?
So essentially, a destructive sigil is like an explosive burst of power, while a permanent sigil is more of a slow-burn, smoother energy?

for the temporary sigil, can you redo the same one multiple times or is that frowned upon?
When you first create a sigil (meaning a thought form), your energy input is its life energy and activation. When you no longer require it, you simply do not turn your attention toward it. Therefore, only one sigil is necessary and when you cease to give it thought energy, it simply goes into hibernation. And if you should need it in the future, all you do is to refocus your intent (as you did in the creation process) and it again lives for your purpose. Remember, your thought energy is the driver in the process. No other force is present.
instead of burning it, can you tear it up as much as possible too? that's still it being destroyed...

I have a difficult time deciphering which is a good clear statement when it comes to sigils. Example!
1. I am going to think of ( blank ) that would make me ( blank ).
Or
2 . I'm going to think of ( blank ) a lot of people will buy.
If I stated " make me " into my sigils that would it work in my favor what do you think ?
PS I tend to overthink which is why I'm asking. If these examples are good enough then I will proceed in that direction I just appreciate a second opinion.
You are already making a bad mistake in your wording.......the idea of any kind of magick working is to STATE your desire in the present tense......NOT in a future tense.......example......" I AM NOW able to concentrate on what interests me etc".....When you say "I am going to" this implies a future happening....and future happenings are just that.....they are always in the future and NOT in the present. This is one of the most important lessons in making up intent statements for your life.

Is placing the hands on the sigil the only way to charge it or are there other ways as well? I she said dancing but I am just curious.
Would a sigil still work if I could not burn it? I’m technically not allowed to burn anything where I live, the most I can use are those little tea candles for my oil burner and burn tiny white sage leaves that I blow out in a manner of seconds, just enough to cast a small circle around my alter. I cannot burn incense or my smudge stick, or burn anything that would cause a lot of smoke. Would burying it in a small plant or outside have the same effect? My only other idea was to write the sigil down on something that could easily dissolve in water such as rice paper.

Yes, that should work. You don't need to burn the sigil for it to be effective. :)

ive heard those sigils don't work as well because they aren't created for you.
id say itd be better to make one yourself, and use that one.
if you're desperate, then you can use someone elses sigil, but it make not have as much energy and action.
