@@jenjen_oreo I know it's been three weeks since you posted this, but I'll give some tips anyways. 1. Books are your best friend. 2. Make sure you double or triple check any sources you find. 3. Crystals! Crystals are your second best friend. They can aid you greatly, and bring about prosperity, wisdom, protection, ect. Just do your research. 4.You can make a book of shadows/ grimoire. It's a choice. The things I listed are books you use as a sort of diary, which you can write spells, experiences, and how you practice in them.
I've been a Solitary Eclectic Witch for a couple of years now.. While I'm very open about it to my husband and a few very close friends, my family don't know and never will know the path that I have chosen and only because they had raised me to be a Christian! I left their path and found my own truth! Find your truth too x
*@ Chiara* You don't have to be one or the other. You can be a Green Kitchen Witch or a Traditional Hedge Witch. ▪︎▪︎▪︎ There is no reason to limit yourself with labels. 🧙♀️
Although I am delighted and excited that so many are starting their Spiritual journey with Witchcraft. I'm 60 years old, and have been a practicing witch for 47 years. I've dabbled in every genre of the craft, focusing on different specialty areas depending on what was going on in my life at the time. In my current lifetime, Witchcraft has drawn a lot of attention, both positive and negative. It is now the fastest growing Spiritual practice in the world. This is where my concern about the many LABELS being put on the multitude of focus areas folks are studying. I hate to see us fall prey to the divisiveness created by these labels. It reminds me of the many denominations of Christians, like Catholics, Baptists, Jehovas Wittness, Methodists, Mormans...etcetera. These labels have done more harm to the community of the "Church" than good. I prefer not to limit myself with a label, and as you mentioned, Witchcraft is a Spiritual practice as opposed to a religion. I am a Witch. That's enough of a label to serve my purposes.
Personally I love to use the term Tea Witch. I use tea to fix everything, physical and spiritual and am learning how to make my own tea blends. I also love my tarot cards, crystals and candles ♥️

I as well relate. i am an Eclectic Green witch. I mostly focus on herbs and nature, but I also focus on astrology, spirits, crystals, empathy, and oils!
Same!! So nice to see someone else comment the same things I'm practicing an know I'm not alone, I still believe in God and other gods/goddesses an made me conflicted thinking I was blaspheming my old religion in a way I believe in the Catholic God an Jesus but still believe there are other gods/goddesses he made (duality) an still like to practice witchcraft

Hi, I just stumbled on this video. I am a hereditary witch, one of the few families of witches, that escaped the witch hunt in Germany. I was taught the craft by my mother's side of the family. I use music in my craft, rhyme my spells or sing old ones, like the merseburger zaubersprüche(2 spells, one against PTSD and the other for sprayed horses ankles, they're the oldest spells still in existence.) I majored my school with a paper about alchemy, grow succulents, my familiar is a bunny and my spirit animal is a European Robin. My main focus are handcrafted Items like woven carpets, knitted clothes, sewn purses, drawn tarot cards, crafted Charms and charm/Herb bags. But my main focus are crystals.
@@Lealinchen97 Germany had one of the scariest and infamous witch hunters of all over the course of 2 years(1628-1630) he burned about 300 witches and Wizards at the stake. He worked in a small village near Arnsberg (Balve) and was called Kaspar Reinhard. Since 1993 the victims of the witch hunt got rehabilitation all over Germany and got multiple memorials, including Winterberg, Balve and on the Brocken or Blocksberg(the mythical place rumoured to house the walpurgisnacht dance of witches, now housing it every 30th of April. ). But town specific you can read the stories most of the time for free in the archives of your own town.
Is there such thing as a 'music witch'? Because I think I am one, I have a soothing, magical feeling listening to music and I just simply can't function without listening to it. Im starting to find my identity as a Witch
Hmm I would say that yes, there totally are music witches out there! I think more often they tend to be eclectic witches who focus strongly in their musical abilities and integrate it into their practices. But having said that if music is your main way of practicing then perhaps yes you are a music witch!

MarieLoup Start by choosing the element you feel most connected and comfortable with. I’m a Water and Earth witch. Research all about the symbols of witchcraft and keep it in a Book Of Shadows. (A Book/Notebook to fill with religious knowledge) When you’re ready start to gather herbs and spices for your craft. You can study things like palm reading and auras/energies! Tarot cards and oracle card are very interesting and dybuuk boxes aren’t to be messed with as a starter. Along with the Ouiji Board.
Me either! I just assumed, oh, witch who goes out into the hedges and forest to practice - that's me! *Nope.* I have zero skill in that area. I never knew the word "hedge" had that 'crossing the barrier' meaning. XD

Hi, I'm a hedge witch. I've been fighting being one all my life, and after nearly 60 years I'm finally coming to terms with it. Thank you for the video.
I just watched this video and decided to look more into "the hedge witch".. I can't find ANYWHERE besides here where a hedge witch is said to be connected to spirit world and the hedge being referred to as the boundary between worlds... all I can find is about them described almost exactly as a kitchen witch and the hedge being the herbalism part of their practice not the boundary. Just wondering your opinion. Any book recommendations?
Oh my gosh, I'm the same exact way! I haven't found anyone else who identifies as a floral witch! ☺️ I haven't started practicing my craft yet (Christian parents) but I've done a good amount of research, and I honestly think floral witch describes me the best. 💖💐
New baby witch here! So I just started my research and found your channel. It's already very helpful :) When I was 15 or so I wanted to become a marine biologist since I've always been fascinated by the oceans and seas. In two years I'll hopefully start my Master in Marine Biology, so when you mentiond the Sea Witch I gasped! :D
Abyss Witch. I found over the years that I came to specialise in helping people come back from the edge of despair: people who are stuck staring into the abyss. I always attract / connect with people who are struggling with debilitating mental illnessness, crises and suicidal thoughts. I've been wondering for some time about how I could create a unique practice or interactivity that could help people focus on, express and understand their circumstances, wants and needs, psychology and behavioural patterns in order to regain clarity, calm and control. Basically, I'm interested in empowering people to not to fall into their own abyss, but also to not be afraid to stand on the edge of it and look in. If anyone has any ideas or thoughts about any of this I'd love to hear what you think. 💜😊
I'm just now learning about Witchcraft, but what you've said really piques my interest. All my life I've been drawn to people that are struggling, and I've always done my best to help them-- often times succeeding. It would be really awesome if that could be incorporated into practices. Personally I'm still in the researching stage but Abyss Witch really connects with me! I hope that can be made into a thing
@@aslan699 My own self-directed studies have lead me into researching Childhood Emotional Neglect (CEN), the effects of childhood trauma on the body and behavioural patterns, attachment traumas in adult relationships, cultures of silence and suppression, and ways we crush ourselves into deep misery by not being our authentic, empowered, unique selves. I've found some really great TH-cam channels on childhood and adult relationship trauma - Crappy Childhood Fairy, and Alan Robarge - that have given me a lot more material to understand suicidal and chronic depression. They say really poignant stuff no psychologist, psychiatrist or counsellor has ever said to me in 20 years. Stuff that really applies not only to my own experiences but to those I've supported through their own suicidal experiences over the years. Knowledge is power! Perhaps you might also find their discussions helpful and eye-opening like I did as they are so useful in understanding the lived experiences and the day-to-day details of how prolonged suffering creates crippling effects like emotional dysregulation. I'm really curious to explore ways that symbology, objects and personalized rituals can be used to help people cut through the cyclones of their own thoughts and give them clear, actionable paths out of their suffering and towards calm self-mastery, like stepping stones across a raging river. There's so much to think about! :) :)
Just uh... make sure you don't burn yourself to keep others warm. I attracted many people in despair, but also many toxic and manipulative people who took advantage of the unique way I help others. So I think being an abyss witch is a cool idea, but I think making sure you do your research (I mean you probably already have but I'm putting this out there for anyone who needs it) of red flags, understanding toxic energy, cleansing yourself before engaging with those that are sick, and cleansing yourself after, and an understanding of psychology and relationships. But yes! You go be that Abyss witch! Maybe even consider being a crisis line volunteer! We need energy workers in those fields who have a high tolerance for negative and heavy energy.
this is exactly what i’ve been doing, so far i have helped a couple ppl, a friend of mine has suicidal thoughts and i asked for permission to help her and it worked, i’ve also helped a several people with eating disorders and it made me feel really good
Anyone: What kind of witch are you? Me: Yes. All kidding aside, I feel I'm a Solitary, Eclectic, Green, Kitchen, Sea Witch. I also believe that all the Gods and Goddesses of every culture exist. They do not demand our attention, but if we choose to follow them and commit to our path, then they will take an interest in us by providing us with life lessons and blessings.
I believe in the gods thing too and I am happy to found someone else like this. My Wicca friends and other witchs do not like that I believe in every gods and goddesses, and believe they don't really care if any of us follow them or not.
@@milagroberberena-rand9012 I was afraid I was the only one that believed that too. I never hear anyone talk about it. So happy we're not alone in our beliefs. I don’t feel the need to label myself at the moment because I’m all over the place but your definition of eclectic witch is fitting for me. I dabble in all of it and am learning what I love. I feel like I'm definitely a solitary eclectic witch. I've always liked the idea of not being tied down to a specific label/path in witchcraft. I like to create, whether that be new spells, or something more practical, like a new song. And one of my sayings has always been, if you can't see any other options, make your own option.
Be careful though, im very solitary, only seen evidence of elementals, i guess pshycics areas too. I believe some can be alright but depends on the leader if they decide to. Blind obedient which leads to tyranny. Sad too, cause they only have that power from feeding on it which only impresses them more and cycle begins. However, they do prove the value of gaining it through your own will. Desperately so. Like non stop effort for just one of us. Once you find your source, youll see how they need and use every single other in the realm of the physical because that was their drive. |ts very weird how strongly tied magic and logic are. Thats what truly stunted by journey. Total irony
Jubilee did a series with “I’m a Witch. Ask Me Anything”. It really was fascinating to hear a lot of stereotypes busted. I was raised Christian and always was taught that anything witchcraft related was evil and the devil’s work. As I’ve grown up, I distanced myself from religion and felt more connected to energy and replaced prayers with sending positive or good energy to someone in need. I feel very connected to the earth and wanting to protect it. It’s nice to hear about different practices and lifestyles that speak to those things :). I still feel that there is a higher power than myself but I just refer to it as the universe now.
I am a Mexican American non practicing catholic who is very disillusioned with religion in general. Witchcraft is something I have been interested in since I was a child (I idolized Morticia Adams growing up). I feel like I actually come from a long line of kitchen witches. Both my grandmother and my mother always worked magic in the kitchen, I personally have always felt comfortable in front of the stove and with wooden spoon, bowls and herbs. I am probably going to start my path as a kitchen/ green witch. Thank you for your channel , it’s been so helpful to me!
I almost drowned in the ocean as a child and ever since then I am very connected to the sea. My family thinks I’m crazy that I can swim in cold Bay Area waters. 🤣
Not a witch but same, I was dragged into the ocean by a huge wave when I was 5, I remember being really scared and thinking "I have to open my eyes" when I did the ocean was so beautiful that I lost my fear. Since then I really like swimming and being around water.
This happened to my sister too! Almost drowned in a lake as a toddler & i could swear she has an ancient mermaid soul deep down quietly. We're in our early 30s now😊♡
So am I, I’m precognitive (psychic) and have never forseen while I’m awake. I wasn’t paying attention at first and then it was like it started smacking me in the face. I can’t put my finger on it, but I can just “tell” when I’m having a precognitive dream (one showing me the future). They’re just off somehow. Every single one has come to fruition. I think I’m just a precognitive hedge witch, idk. I’m drawn to dark energy as well
I literally have the same question as well. Although not for the same reasons. I rarely dream (or remember them) but when other ppl try to tell me their dreams and what it means its so fascinating. I also have an urge to help ppl sleep despite tht I barely even sleep myself lol.
I think most witches on some level have them. At least one or two. Ive had prophetic dreams all of my life. Never heard it called dream witch before, but I like it. " Lucid dreams, Big dreams, prophetic, dream walking, waking dreams, astral dreams" are what I've always heard, oh, and I'm just crazy lol. But seriously for a lot of us , dreams are how the door gets opened. They can be the thing that gets us started down our Witchie path.
@@SUKI23902 Do you interpret their dreams? Not all things are the same to everyone. A black cat to me is a wonderful friend. To someone else it can mean a bad omen, or something to that nature. I'm just curious. It sounds to me like you should. I do, and its amazing. If not , you should give it a try!
This was SOOO helpful! I've always felt so drawn to water. Lakes, Rives, Oceans! I've collected sand, shells, and even bones of dead water mammals not knowing why! I'm a Sea Witch! When I first found my "label" it was out of the blue for me. I never decided to BE a witch but I read over and over again descriptions of a Green Witch were a list of things I was already doing, and beliefs that I was already practicing. I had no idea that my earth-worshiping, soil-digging, plant-loving, thunderstorm-celebrating, tree-talking soul had a title lol but finding out really turned out to be the missing piece in my life
My mom is a modern witch, and I didn't even notice, until I asked my mom when we were in a witchcraft shop. Now I realize where I get it from, me and my mom come from a long line of witches. I'm so happy!
Eclectic witch seems to fit me best. My first introduction to the craft was a gardnerian covens' book of shadows. Since then I've explored celtic paganism(at length), stregheria, ceremonial magick, appalachian folk magick, hoodoo, herbalism, candle magick, buddhism, hinduism, universal sufism initiation, and gnosticism, amongst other things. Every path is beautiful and valid. I suppose that the label isn't very important. Blessed be, all!
I love the way you address how our paths evolve over time and our labeling of ourselves as different kinds of witches can change over time. I practice and teach an eclectic tradition of Wicca that focuses on the individual learning thier own path, To serve more as a guide to my students spiritual growth as opposed to the specific tradition I was taught. Great video and as usual your editing game is strong, very well produced, I hope I can get my videos on this level of production one day.
Thank you so much! I think thats the best way to help people learn and I think it's wonderful that you teach that way. I really appreciate all your support and I believe in your abilities it just takes practice and figuring out what you like to do in regards to your editing style.

I admire your aesthetic. Very knowledgeable video. My grandmother was Wiccan , when she passed to the other side I felt so lost. Okay this is going to sound so edgy lmao, but I’m like really drawn to cemeteries, when I’m in one I feel the best, I feel at peace, I’m not a hedge witch since I don’t cross over but I could always give it a shot. Also I feel so weird when I tell someone I might try to go into witchcraft because well I’m male
The word witch applies to both male and female so don’t worry! Also if you feel drawn to cemeteries you can start looking into ancestral magic and study spirituality (spirits, afterlife, certain types of divination and also ancestry magick)
Cemetaries.. maybe a sign to pursue the path of the Necromancer? One of my psychics is one, he communicates with spirits and offer people blessings and healing arts via the Dead (nothing evil, just has a darker vibe).
I am just now beginning to understand my witchcraft. When I was 14, I began my "year and a day" of studying, and by 15 I was calling myself a "witch", but I still had very little understanding of what that really meant. I called myself "eclectic" and remained solitary in part because I grew up in a small, conservative community and in part because I felt my path was not similar to other witches who I read about. I had problems following the traditional path that I studied because there was a lot of involvement of the deities (a classification of beings I cannot make myself believe in - the same reason I had left Christianity several years before that). I practiced spell magic and studied bits here and there but over time lost interest in trying to study more because of the religious aspect and my disbelief. I stopped thinking of myself as a witch and just dropped all pretense of religious belief in anything. I thought that by dropping the label, I was being more true to myself. But I never lost some of the beliefs...and in fact, over the years, I picked up a few more that I hadn't heard of yet when I was young (even though I had some experience practicing them without knowing others did so or that they even WERE a practice, such as reiki). 25 years later I am finally coming to realise that my life experience has ALWAYS been that of a witch - just...an athiest one. I believe spells work, I believe crystals can store energy or disperse it. I believe everything in nature has a tie to everything else in nature. I believe that balance is essential for survival of life - not individual life, but life in general. I believe in the power of prayer - not because some entity will answer it, but because it is simply a way to focus energy. I believe in "spirits" in so much as they are either created by energy remnants left behind or by energy finding it's way to this world from another. I believe that psychics CAN find things that "normal" people cannot because of some inherent or trained ability to access information the rest of humanity is blind to. I believe meditation is a way of seeking balance. I believe that we can harness and manipulate energy in ways science cannot yet explain. I believe both animate and inanimate objects can influence or lives, whether to heal or harm, and should be handled with curiosity and reverence because of that. And, importantly, I believe that all of the religions get SOME of it right, and that everyone should be free to believe whatever they like as long as they are using that belief to better themselves, others, or the world around them. I suppose, by your definition and mine combined, I would be a "Solitary, eclectic, athiest witch". Seems like a little much to call oneself. Perhaps soon I will find a shorter title that suits me better, but, for now, I guess that's who I am.
Hey, this reply might be a bit late but I just stumbled over your comment and got blown away because I feel the same way you do. Though I wohldn’t label myself as an atheist because in my language that means you believe in absolutely nothing, not even nature. Maybe we’ll find something some day that will be able to describe us and our beliefs and I’m sure there’s more likeminded witches out there.
@@n.n.-thatsit.1947 There are others. There are Facebook groups for Athiest Witches, and surely similar groups on other platforms. "Athiest" to me means a disbelief in god-figures only. Perhaps it is not the right word to use, though. It would be nice to find better terms.
@@palacinkasmarmeladou Agnostic means someone who isn't sure if deities exist but thinks it's possible, yet doesn't worship anything. Athiest means a person who does not believe in deities. It can also mean one who doesn't believe in any religious aspects. To me, Athiest is the correct term. I have zero belief in gods or godesses, but find spirituality in things that science currently has no explanation for. I have faith only in that some day, all of the things I believe will be proven existent by science.
Omg so do I it's just I just recently started my research and they all have been in it for years and they r asking me what witch r u and all this stuff and all I can say is I don't know I'm just trying to figure life out and see where my practice takes me
i feel you don’t have to label yourself as a witch. as you grow and change, you may learn that you like several way, and labeling yourself is just unnecessary. if i labeled myself accurately i’d have six different titles at least haha
That's the beauty of following an eclectic path because really you don't have to label yourself! I am a strong believer in working in whatever way suits you best and I understand that labels can get in the way of that for some people, I mean it took me years to feel comfortable labeling myself and I only really did because it feels right to me. But everybody's paths are individual and unique and that's what makes them so beautiful so I agree with you in a sense because labels aren't necessary for many witches especially those who find themselves following an eclectic path but I do also believe that people can find a home in them as well. It's all up to the practitioner themselves and that's what so wonderful about practicing witchcraft!
@@anabiell9824 If you even had half a brain you'd know a witch means someone who practices witchcraft, it has been around longer than Christianity, Islam and others. But you know...let's just say it's aesthetic since you're so stupid
I'm just starting out w this and w even acknowledging that my "new age practices " might b that of a good witch. I'm a combination of a Seawitch and an Eclectic witch. I'm a Pisces who lives by the sea. I have to have water around me constantly. I also love my shells, stones and crystals. I love full moon rituals and the power of the sun. Thank you for your channel. I love it
rhonda jones I am also a Pisces and I also live by an ocean. Funny how sometimes our signs are placed near our elements as if on purpose. We always end up where we’re supposed to be I suppose. I don’t like to particularly label myself with the different titles. I prefer to usually keep it my own secret I’ve been practicing witchcraft since I was 13. Very few people have asked me if I consider myself one and I very reluctantly reply. Perhaps it just the old school tradition intertwined with my beliefs. Thought it was cool we both lived in similar places so I thought I’d comment! ☺️
I'm a pisces too. I'm also an Eclectic Sea Witch. I don't live near the ocean but when I was younger we would travel a lot and would go to different island and beaches every month
When you were wrapping up the segment on cosmic witches, I said out loud and to myself “okay so cosmic witch" and I got immediate chills right afterwards. Love when things like that happen
I think I am an eclectic witch. I really love astronomy and crystals. I also like tarot cards. I am new to this and I would love to learn more. I love your videos, keep it up! Blessings! 🌱🔥🌊💨
My mom is a Sea Witch The amount of sea shells and ocean fossils all over the house and on the small windowsill altar is amazing I think I'm a Green Witch
Solitary ecclectic witch here! I wasn't sure you were going to mention ecclectic types but was so happy to hear you talk about this very common way of practice at the end ^^' as always, I had a feeling of relief and belonging when you spoke of ecclectic witches, as opposed to the anxiety of not belonging in any of the previous categories!
I've just started too. There's Facebook groups, I watch harmony nice, and the hearthwitch on TH-cam. There's free books all over the internet. There's so much information at our fingertips, all you have to do is start researching like on Google, you'll be overwhelmed with what you find!!
yea me too, but I've found no help with google. it's been a few moths since this comment was posted and I was wondering (if you succeeded) if you could give me some pointers
I'm definitely an eclectic witch. Thank you, this was very informative on some types of witchcraft that aren't clearly understood like a hedge witch vs a green witch. Great video. 💛❤️💜🧙🏻♀️
This is a magical channel I get chills while watching and specifically had a question pop in my mind and found a random tarot card in a place I didn’t leave it while watching!
Is there a “Light Witch?” I’ve always worked with light in my imagination and have thought of it like Reiki. I’m really feeling draw to this thread/conversation and don’t think it’s random that I’ve found myself here. Does anyone resonate with this? ✨💙✨
I am a kitchen witch but a talented astral traveler as well. I am also drawn to the ocean, and love astrology. So a Kitchen, Cosmic, Solitary, Sea Witch,
the types of things you do and what you use to achieve "spells" are usually what separates one path from the other, as well as worship and your values I guess. Spells are something that exists in all branches of witchcraft, and energy manipulation is basically spell work and what you use to direct that energy(unless you're talking about specific types of energy work). candles and crystals differ on paths and are ingredients to that spell, or how you choose to direct and shape energy
i'm an eclectic witch and the way you explained it is so cool !! i feel very connected to nature, animals, old trees, the earth and the moon, and also to energy in general, but don't really care much about making complicated potions with herbs or centering my entire practice on the moon. i also follow my own religion that i continue to modify as i grow and learn. you explained so much so perfectly !!
I always resonated to the term of hedge witch. My sister is a cosmic witch. And my family doesn't even know or understand anything of witchcraft to the point where even if i practice it right in front of them they won't mind. They would just think it's silly and leave us to play.😂
This is so very informative for my journey! Have begun embracing the path for about a two years now. I now feel like I am not wandering and am okay with what I’m doing. 😌 I can confidently embrace knowing I am an Eclectic Solitary Green Witch. 💚 Thank you! New sub!
Thank you so much! I am so happy that you have found a path that fits you, I know from experience how truly wonderful and affirming finding your path can be!
before this video i was quite clueless on what witch i might be if i was a witch at all. im relatively young but ever since i could remember ive always been attracted to storms, nature, botany, water, fire, the wind going through my hair, and animals and young children have always been drawn to me and my energy. im all over the place. i think that my whitchyness more so evolves around nature. im always in love with whatever plants i have and when i transplant them or when i see a sick plat in a store i often find myself muttering words of encouragement or just holding them to get warm even though it wount do much help. i think im a more natural witch or a green witch
I don't really consider myself as a witch just yet, I lean more towards spiritualist instead. But as far as this goes, I would be a solitary Hedge Witch. I rely heavily on the divine energy of the universe as well as in my religion, but I'm the only one who regularly practices my Magick on a daily basis. 🤷♀️
I'm trying to get into being a witch and maybe even convert to Wicca, and what you said at the beginning about you don't pick one cuz it sounds cool, you learn what you're connected to has helped me. I was trying to research certain types only, not even knowing if that's what I am meant to be. Thank you for this!
Love youe videos. You always do a great job breaking down the difference between wicca and being a witch. I liken your insight to Harmony nice's methods.
I feel most drawn and connected to Green witch, sea witch, eclectic witch, and I guess I’d be a solitary witch! I’m also Christian, I can’t wait to learn and get into witchcraft
I am a solitary eclectic witch who focuses on green witchcraft and nature’s recourses. I follow more of a Christian religion so don’t feel you can’t be a witch with the religion of your choice! My familiar is my dearest cat(: I hope I can find some friendly witchy friends some day
I'm a sea witch, My dad loves sea creatures And I grew up having a bunch of pet fishes. Everytime my dad would ask me a random fish I would guess it and I was right about it. Even tho I never learned about the fishes. I feel connected to the ocean I specially love the creatures that lives in the ocean I love going to the near by bay in my town.
If I had to put a label on it, I would be a solitary green hedgewitch. Seeing and interacting with spirits since I was a young child. Now I have periodic visitations from deceased family members. It's a very interesting existence and few organized religions seem to acknowledge spirit unless they become problematic. When they are just trying to interact, just like they did in the living years.
I have always felt a connection to the spiritual world. My whole family has. We see certain people to help us when we experience things. I recently learned my 17th great grandpa was John Proctor. So I have blood ties to Salem. Maybe that is why I’m so infatuated with learning. I know I’m an empath. I’ve felt it since I was a small child. I went to a clairvoyant woman my family has seen for 30+ years and she actually picked that up about me before I even got to mention it. I want to open up my abilities even more but not sure what do to
This was such a wonderful description of these nine types of witches! You made the differences very clear, as well as always leaving things open for interpretation since witchcraft is such a personal thing. I am a fledgling baby witch, so I have only just begun to explore, but thus far the one I resonate with most is solitary eclectic witch. I am very interested in divination, I see and sense auras in certain people, I love to cook and experiment with food and edible plants/herbs, and I want to build and handcraft ALL OF THE THINGS with intention and weave my spells into them. I'm excited to see where my path takes me and whether I feel drawn to a different label in the future, but for now I will research and explore the facets that resonate with me the most.
I can’t see exactly say I see aura, but I do sense it and I apply colors to how I feel about those colors to the aura. I started long before I learned about magick(which was recently, I am a baby witch.) and felt aura since as long as I can remember. I ranted positively about it for an entire day before running out of stuff to talk about once.
I don't know. I always called myself a "spirit witch" because I've always had a knack for sending my spirit out to distant places. Not just astral projection but creating familiars from will and emotion, and casting my shadow at a distance. So, I called it a "Spirit witch". I'm sure many will argue with me about it but, it is what it is. Maybe I'm eclectic... Maybe I'm nothing... Maybe I'm everything. That's what I love about this work.
Is there a thing as en emotional witch or a mind witch ? I feel like I focus more on mantras and mind visualization , maybe because I practiced yoga where u visualize everything and work with energy u give colour to .but I like spells where I only use a light ,moon water ,some writing and a prayer ...also Im very drawn to tarot ,manifestation and meditation...so I feel overall my connection with magic comes more.from inside and my mind but maybe that's not whichcraft and it's just spirituality...but if I had to fit into one of the categories I feel like maybe an elements witch would fit best But I would love to become a kitchen witch when j finally live alone...sounds lovely
Raquel I identify with your first sentence too. Dream witch? The yoga part too. Made me realize that there wasn’t any mention of people who work with the energetic body or energy of place like a feng shui witch or reiki witch. I’m sure this list could go on and on.
Possible cosmic witch? I agree that there should be a separate term, she mentioned mediums but didn’t mention general energy work and clairvoyancy. I started out same way and realized tarot is directly connected to astrology. In fact it’s the oldest, most universal form of spirituality out there. I would suggest exploring the stars
we are baby witches so we arent entirely labeling ourselves but so far out of just watching this video I relate to kitchen and hedge(I have already talked to a spirit (I didn't start it so hopefully I didn't do anything wrong)) the most and then green witch also a bit and maybe eclectic
Alone. Trying to grasp what my exact feelings and sensations are. I am not against working with a coven but I do feel that it is important that the way I practice is unique in certain ways. I think I would have a hard time getting other coven members to be on board with some of the stuff that I am curious about. Frankly it might just not be interesting to them but it sure is to me. I’m talking about the things that you can feel in your blood and bones yet can’t describe to save your life.
Traditional Witch here, Cabot Tradition to be specific. Lovely explanation of everything. It's also fascinating to me how so many of these flow together.
Haha I'm glad you were able to fit into that spot! I don't believe in the negative connotations that surround that number either but it is still a funny coincidence!
Someone else once brought up the #666 in a thread somewhere ?, my basic knowledge of numerology is there is no 666 about the devil. Simply #s 1-9 are used. (With different meanings not good OR bad. 666 = 18 18 = 1+8 which = 9 9 means transfirmation I'm correcting myself. 7 means completion
I'm pretty sure 666 being a negative number is only in Christianity (or other religions). 666 is an angel number that is supposed to be a message from your guardian angel to wake you up.

When your family doesn’t support witch craft ✌🏻

heh, i was the 666th like on this comment
You are a wise gifted lovely woman. ❤💖🎶✨🎶💖

Hi, I just stumbled on this video.
I am a hereditary witch, one of the few families of witches, that escaped the witch hunt in Germany. I was taught the craft by my mother's side of the family.
I use music in my craft, rhyme my spells or sing old ones, like the merseburger zaubersprüche(2 spells, one against PTSD and the other for sprayed horses ankles, they're the oldest spells still in existence.)
I majored my school with a paper about alchemy, grow succulents, my familiar is a bunny and my spirit animal is a European Robin.
My main focus are handcrafted Items like woven carpets, knitted clothes, sewn purses, drawn tarot cards, crafted Charms and charm/Herb bags. But my main focus are crystals.
Can you tell me more about the traditional witchcraft rooted in Germany? I am based here and would love to know more about the regional history
@@Lealinchen97 Germany had one of the scariest and infamous witch hunters of all over the course of 2 years(1628-1630) he burned about 300 witches and Wizards at the stake. He worked in a small village near Arnsberg (Balve) and was called Kaspar Reinhard.
Since 1993 the victims of the witch hunt got rehabilitation all over Germany and got multiple memorials, including Winterberg, Balve and on the Brocken or Blocksberg(the mythical place rumoured to house the walpurgisnacht dance of witches, now housing it every 30th of April. ).

Holy shiz man I’ve felt this my whole life and you just perfectly explained it.
this is exactly what i’ve been doing, so far i have helped a couple ppl, a friend of mine has suicidal thoughts and i asked for permission to help her and it worked, i’ve also helped a several people with eating disorders and it made me feel really good
Anyone: What kind of witch are you?
I was beginning to think I was foolish for it, but it seems we're not alone. Love to my witchy brothers and sisters on this beautiful journey called life.

The web, books. Different apps. I have an app which tells me when the next moon cycle is at it peak so I never miss one out. I also use the moonology cards and have a book from the same author.
If you wanna know more you can text me :)

Are there such things as sun witches or am I just being a dumbass???..
@@ahhhitgavebirth8125 as a witch you don't have to follow stereotypes. There are lots of witches who feel connected to something which is not the typical stereotype. Do what makes you feel good and happy. Search for sun related signs. Explore what you feel when you do certain things. Do you feel connected to a deity? (There are many sun gods and goddesses) maybe one of them is calling to you. :)
Total irony
her hair is the most magical part of this video- its so perfect-
Jubilee did a series with “I’m a Witch.
We're in our early 30s now😊♡
Is there a such thing as a Dream Witch, I feel more connected with my dreams?
シ xoxo mykie considering the fact that prophetic dreams are a thing I'd say dream witches would be too!
I feel so drained being land locked [lived in Oklahoma] but as soon as I moved back to the Gulf Coast I felt alive! It all makes sense! Amazing! Thank You!
When I first found my "label" it was out of the blue for me. I never decided to BE a witch but I read over and over again descriptions of a Green Witch were a list of things I was already doing, and beliefs that I was already practicing. I had no idea that my earth-worshiping, soil-digging, plant-loving, thunderstorm-celebrating, tree-talking soul had a title lol but finding out really turned out to be the missing piece in my life
im so glad my mom allows me to be a witch and gives me jars and candles and herbs
Same here:D

I have a lot of Crystal's too. I'm just starting out. I've been watching mark bajerski on youtube & he's helped me out a lot. Any advice you can give me on my Crystal's. I love my crystals, too. They are so active and expressive sometimes!!

Honestly I would just... Talk to them. You will get impressions back.
I'm the same 3 types, crystals and tarot. I've dabbled in palm reading as well. I work at a crystal shop which makes life all the better! I loved learning about the different types of witches in this video, and I appreciate how it emphasizes the diversity within the Wiccan community. It's so important that we celebrate and honor the unique practices and beliefs of each witch. Thank you for sharing! #Wicca #WitchTypes #SpiritualJourney
Me seeing youre back ground ......me looking at MY room: yeahh Im prob a green witch😂
Thank you for specifying that one does not have to be Wiccan to be a witch. I would say I am drawn to the characteristics of a kitchen witch and a green witch. I've always grown plants and have a true interest in the healing properties of medicinal herbs.
I admire your aesthetic. Very knowledgeable video. My grandmother was Wiccan , when she passed to the other side I felt so lost. I’d like to reconnect with her spirituality and honor her through the craft. I am just starting out and know very little about anything , but this helped a lot . Thank you for your guidance on my first steps into this realm.
Sama goes for me🤣🤣
Yo my man, don't even trip, witches can be both male and female - the word has historically been used to refer to both genders iirc!
The word witch applies to both male and female so don’t worry! Also if you feel drawn to cemeteries you can start looking into ancestral magic and study spirituality (spirits, afterlife, certain types of divination and also ancestry magick)
Witch is a gender neutral term.
I believe it's called agnostic. Atheist is someone who doesn't believe in anything spiritual or religious.

If this is a group chat on fb I would love to learn as well.
Can i be in it plz?
i feel you don’t have to label yourself as a witch. as you grow and change, you may learn that you like several way, and labeling yourself is just unnecessary. if i labeled myself accurately i’d have six different titles at least haha
It's all up to the practitioner themselves and that's what so wonderful about practicing witchcraft!
its purely aesthetic bullshit

I don’t like to particularly label myself with the different titles. I prefer to usually keep it my own secret I’ve been practicing witchcraft since I was 13. Very few people have asked me if I consider myself one and I very reluctantly reply. Perhaps it just the old school tradition intertwined with my beliefs. Thought it was cool we both lived in similar places so I thought I’d comment! ☺️

i think all types of witches use that? not sure tho
the types of things you do and what you use to achieve "spells" are usually what separates one path from the other, as well as worship and your values I guess. Spells are something that exists in all branches of witchcraft, and energy manipulation is basically spell work and what you use to direct that energy(unless you're talking about specific types of energy work). candles and crystals differ on paths and are ingredients to that spell, or how you choose to direct and shape energy
I'm a kitchen witch. I'm still learning but I'm enjoying my journey.

That sounds about right, wow thats pretty special!
How do you astral project I’ve tried multiple times but it isn’t working
Same here I connect to dead people n my spirit guides (hedge witch) plus astral projection
The hardest part for me is the landing, when ever I come back to my body I fall with no breaks 🤣
Sleeping on my back helps with astral projection for some reason, other than that can’t control it yet! It just happens!
i'm an eclectic witch and the way you explained it is so cool !! i feel very connected to nature, animals, old trees, the earth and the moon, and also to energy in general, but don't really care much about making complicated potions with herbs or centering my entire practice on the moon. i also follow my own religion that i continue to modify as i grow and learn. you explained so much so perfectly !!
New sub!

My Libra self never could make a decision so I am most certainly an Eclectic Witch😂
I want to open up my abilities even more but not sure what do to
Read about it whenever you can and practice meditation and divination. Those will be your key communication skills.
Cosmic witch 🌙😍
I've always been so attracted to water and feel connected to it. I'm definitely relate to the hedge and green witch as well as cosmic
I feel like I focus more on mantras and mind visualization , maybe because I practiced yoga where u visualize everything and work with energy u give colour to .but I like spells where I only use a light ,moon water ,some writing and a prayer ...also Im very drawn to tarot ,manifestation and meditation...so I feel overall my connection with magic comes more.from inside and my mind but maybe that's not whichcraft and it's just spirituality...but if I had to fit into one of the categories I feel like maybe an elements witch would fit best
But I would love to become a kitchen witch when j finally live alone...sounds lovely
Raquel I identify with your first sentence too. Dream witch? The yoga part too. Made me realize that there wasn’t any mention of people who work with the energetic body or energy of place like a feng shui witch or reiki witch. I’m sure this list could go on and on.
Look up Empath
I am a eclectic witch I creat my own magick 🧞♀️🧚🏽♂️
I feel like i can do all of it according to my spirituality, astrological placements and interests, except Wiccan 😊🙏
Ruthie yes! 🙌
Traditional Witch here, Cabot Tradition to be specific. Lovely explanation of everything. It's also fascinating to me how so many of these flow together.
Oops, I'm your subscriber nº 666 LOL! I don't believe in the devil or that that number has any negative energy, but it was funny XD
666 = 18
18 = 1+8 which = 9
9 means transfirmation
I'm correcting myself. 7 means completion
I'm pretty sure 666 being a negative number is only in Christianity (or other religions). 666 is an angel number that is supposed to be a message from your guardian angel to wake you up.
