I red the comments before watching the video and assumed you’d just be moaning about Lima the whole time but actually it can’t be further from the truth…. Clearly these people have the attention span of goldfish 😅
I must admit, i had underestimated the significance of my opinion.😂 They were obviously drawn to the negativity, became as offended as they had expected to be & left before we got to the bright side of visiting Lima. Shame😂
Lima is a vibrant and diverse metropolis, but if I had to highlight some of its best areas, I would definitely mention San Isidro, Barranco, Miraflores, and San Borja. Each has its own charm.
If you are looking for a spectacular destination in Peru, you have to visit Junin and Huancayo. 🌄🌿 Here you will find mind-blowing landscapes, such as the Mantaro Valley, where you can enjoy incredible views and even climb the snow-capped Huaytapallana ❄. In addition, the food of the region
Lima is generally a large, congested, and boring city, with a very noticeable socioeconomic gap. The good thing about Lima is taking a tour of great restaurants, with excellent food. Usually, Lima is just a stopover to visit other, much better cities. Peru has many other cities that are much better for sightseeing and will surprise you, especially in the sierra and the jungle. I hope you get a chance to visit other cities
@@jcflorezz Is boring dude, there is no much to see, maybe for someone that comes from the mountains it may look intersting, but for someone that comes from big cities in northamerica, EU, ASIA or Dubai is nothing... the night life is fun thats true, and you can make really interesting friends, but for a couple traveling not really, well the "costa verde" is nice but not that much to just see and go to relax from time to time, but nothing else. The center is nicer, because of the museums etc, but most than anything is a good culinary tour.
Lima can be a boring jungle metropolis... unless you LOVE FOOD, then you can enjoy Lima for the countless food, an explosion of flavorites and diversity. On the other hand you are into history you can enjoy old Lima and the many museums it has. If all of that is not for you then perhaps you might like Machu Picchu in Cuzco. If not then Peru is not for you.
"There's nothing to do". I'm from Lima and that is true. Sadly it is just a boring city with good restaurants, that's all. Hopefully in the future it can improve somehow because there's lots of potential.
finally someone openly honest about this shithole. if you are not interested in lima's history, theres no much to do here besides eating. the weather is london-like (cloudy skies). nauseous odors and cars and noise everywhere. i tell you, to live the full peruvian experience please avoid large cities and focus on pueblitos (andahuaylillas, chiquian) and the countryside (callejón de huaylas, conchucos, huayhuash, titicaca, etc.).

What did you expect waking by the park to say it’s boring ?
That was literally down as one of "The best things to do in Lima". 😂😂😂
Reminds me of my first time in the uk!! I was underwhelmed too!!
Obviously. Why do you think we spent so many years conquering better lands?
@@Escape_With_Us_Official agree, i cut my trip short over there. Cheers
Most of tourist go to Machu Picchu and Lima is just on the way.
I love your video, thanks for sharing
You are so welcome!
I dunno if you are still in Lima, but should try Lucuma ice cream and juice. And take the train so you can have a better look of the city.
Barranco was just next to Miraflores, and has the same vibe as Downtown Lima.
This video is like showing 1 second of a Marvel movie and calling it 'the whole story'. 😂 Lima is way more epic than this!
That’s NOT GUAVA, IT’S PAKAY
Old town definitely looked better - I can’t believe what you ate!!!!😂
Lovely little rodent 😂
Tipical hombre Ingles
You ate a Guinea pig , when you was at the cat park and you said they are feeding them up , I thought your gonna eat one later ,
I draw the line at cats bro! 🤣
Aprende español, quizá así te parece más divertido. Eso pasa con los turistas anglo

Thankyou for your comment mate. We had unforgettable times at other Cities all over Peru.
Check out our Peru playlist for those.
This is absolutely not true. Lima is not boring at all, it is so much fun with tons to do.
Que estúpido comentario, aburrido eres tú pavaso
@@jcflorezz For a cheapo who thinks everything is "expensive", maybe. If you lack funds and culture, what can you expect?

As a peruvian I can say finally someone honest enough to say what he really thinks about Lima. Great video!
