They are currently in college so that they can provide their future children with a safe and stable home. Charlotte and Riley describe love as "a feeling of connection even when you are not together, you just feel it in your heart".

I’m autistic but only 13, I was really sad because I thought no one would ever like me. This gives me hope that everyone’s the same even if we have Autism or anything else.
Thanks so much everyone you’re all so kind! Yes I’m 13, I have had my account since 2014s it used to be my fathers.
I have autism and my wife has autism. We both work, we both have our own apartment, we both have friends and have our own hobbies, both 23. We plan on having our own kid within the coming year. Don't let autism stop you from being you!
thats exactly why i love this channel so much
You're young, you could RETRAIN your mind to the point where people might not notice you have Autism.
You are infinitely likeable and you will find the people who will see you and celebrate you exactly as you are. It may take some time, but please don't give up on yourself. You'll get there.
There’s definitely someone out there who will love, appreciate, and respect you. Take care and enjoy the journey of life! 💛
""Because I'm married to the woman who's right for me and I have a good life", said with a wholesome grin and from the heart. God bless them both.

Indeed, what a sweet point. Yes, because they're not trying so hard to abstract its purpose and what such a dynamic does to their overall emotions. They mentally are better off in that way, to not have such a need to mindlessly abstract and make a song and dance about marriage and relationship as if it requires some artistic or poetic interpretation or overachieving, Olympian nature. This is why this channel is so great, it showcases how beautiful, curious, and/or livable life can be with varying perspectives of how it works.
These two are more normal than most others in today's crazy world. Gorgeous couple.
Agreed!!

Stop the cap
Was thinking the same. They’re happier than the rest of us who are deemed normal.
Absolutely 💜 beautiful couple
My respects to the parents who raised these wonderful human beings
Oh that is such a true statement. The parents did an absolutely amazing job!
Absolutely! As a parent, it’s our responsibility to ensure we give our children the tools they need to survive and cope in a world regardless of any disability they have. My eldest is autistic and although not diagnosed, hardly anyone would know he is on the spectrum because we’ve taught him how to speak to strangers, how to hold a conversation, what people expect in social situations, and he can cope now. He used to get so anxious but that is now just a memory for him, not his actuality now. It’s all about highlighting their strengths and giving them tools to cope with the areas they are weaker in.
I love these guys because they compliment each other so well!
do you know that they had parents>?

My uncle was not high functioning enough to live independently (though many are of course!), but was always a joy to be around, for everyone who knew him, and had a very happy life! That would be nice
Your channel has broken the stigma of people who have disabilities, facial disorders, etc… they are just as important as everyone else in the world and they are people too who have real feelings, hopes and dreams.
Well it would be stupid to think anything otherwise. I don’t know where people would think in terms of that stigma you suggested in the first place. Why would a disability make someone not have feelings or hopes or dreams?
Why would that make them any less important than anyone else???? That makes no sense.
You are so right, wonderfully put.
I feel like this channel helps people understand disabilities that they might not have experienced life. I know I feel more confident talking to someone with a disability after watching them. Before I would worry that I could annoy them by introducing myself or asking if they need help. Now I understand as long as I'm respectful most people are happy to have a conversation.
If people will just watch, it will help them to keep their own lives in proper perspective. I share these with my children too.

Lol who says they're imperfect? I know you meant well and didnt mean any harm, but honestly society could learn to adopt their mindsets on life.
@@EZ-IZZY1995 Nothing imperfect about this two wonderful people. They should be perfect model for every couples out there.
@@EZ-IZZY1995 Imperfection is not referring to their syndromes, it's referring to their personalities and traits which thankfully applies to ALL of us. Most average people have ridiculously high expectations of complete perfection from themselves, their partners, or their whole relationship which is just not how real relationships work. You may have weak spot in the way you act after a tiring day of work, or your partner may take jokes more seriously than you anticipate. No one has a perfect personality, and those who expect one are only going to draw a fat blank.
True, my ex was the epitome of imperfection. And I hope she rots in hell, by her own choosing of course. I personally don't care what she does; I only imagine she'd want to rot in hell because it's where her mother and friends will be.

Yes,i LOVED that too. He knows his stuff
My thoughts exactly!
He’s really good with working with people with different differences and know how to ask and be respectful, and let people shine and tell their stories
I'm curious, why he gave this specific instruction. Could somebody explain the reason for this?
@@hannahwitts1339 Because a lot of times it can help people, especially with autism, to have very specificly phrased questions or else it can cause confusion or overload be ause many autistic people tend to think about things very much in detail and deeply and thoroughly. For example:
A teacher at school sets the assignment "imagine you're on a holiday and write a card home". A neurotypical person might just write some shallow things and use some typical postcard phrases in them without much meaning, a neurodivergent person might be irritated by that task because, of course, what you write in a postcard and how you phrase it depends on who exactly at home you are writing to (grandparent, parent, young sibling, best friend, etc.) and also where you are on your vacation (snow, sea, woods, mountains, city) and how long you are staying there (just for a weekend, a week, several weeks) and for what purpose you came there (have an adventure, relax, meet with a friend who loves away, etc.).
Another example:
Someone asking "what colour is an elephant" would typically get the response "grey" from a neurotypical person because grey is what elephants are usually portrayed as. An autistic person, however, might think about an elephant in india vs. in africa (where they have different shades of skin colour) or about an elephant covered in mud or even their blue toy elephant and might be confused whether to answer "grey" or "brownish" or "blue" or whatever. Giving specific instructions (i. e. asking "what colour does an elephant have who was born in india and has clean skin) can clear up these multiple options and make it easier to not have misunderstandings when communicating.

His smile while tells the story of how they met melts my heart
He seems to love her very much.
I don’t think he’s stoic tbh but he does seem like a wonderful husband
He’s very intelligent! He also carries a conversation well!
@@Am3lia77 I'm reading a book on stoicism. It's very interesting. Anyway, I think he's closer to being stoic than most people
The world is a better place with Charlotte and Riley in it. All the best to them
Are you kidding me? Whenever I encounter folks like these two, I am grateful God has given me the chance to interact with a different kind of angel. What I mean is, I see an innocence in these people, even though they could be capable of doing questionable things. Highly unlikely, but that’s my point. These people are just as human as anyone else, but they deserve 24/7 love and patience. I’ve got their back.
Arrangement ! Sorry for any misspelled words as I I am texting this while I am tired ! PLEASE PAS S ON THE CHAIN OF CHANGE THROUGH LOVE & ACCEPTANCE ,TOLERANCE & DOING EACH OTHER RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS WHETHER IT BE TO DEVOTING TIME OUT TO HELPING SOMEONE IN NEED ,IN A CRISIS , DOING A KIND DEED , THROUGH KIND WORDS ETC . ❤DANICA
What a cute couple! Many blessings you two!!!

So beautiful! Whoever raised these two did right! I’m so happy I came across this video. Beautiful video
How could you watch this and not smile😊 if only everyone could express their love for another in such an innocent manner, there would be a whole lot more happiness in the world.
Somewhere in the Universe are parents who enabled their "Other-Abled" kids to thrive and grow into beautiful adults. Well done!
Ditto
That’s the first thing I thought too. Their parents did great job.
"other abled" hahaha. In trying to be more sensitive, you simply sound more condescending..I love it
@@Talisman09 yeah honestly just say disabled. Disabled isn’t a bad word and avoiding it just increases the stigma.
I know you mean well, but by and large "other/differently abled" is considered offensive.
I am disabled, I can't do some things that most people can. And that's okay, it's not mean or wrong- it is simply a fact. I am disabled. Do I have different abilities than others? Yes, everyone does. That doesn't change the fact that I am disabled.
In my neck of the woods, disabled people find such terms and "soft" language to be incredibly demeaning. That kind of language is used to sooth non disabled people. It is to make them more comfortable, not those who are disabled.
Anyways, if you read all this I hope you have a good day!
Riley is so eloquent now, it is so hard to believe that he ever felt inadequate socially. It is lovely to see two people who are so in tune together.
Nah I can see it. He's pretty awkward and anxious which is normal. Being on camera probably makes him more anxious.
Also it's edited. I feel like he talked about the lighthouses a lot but they edited it lol. That's just my guess but I really wanted to hear about the lighthouses. It's not my special interest but I am fascinated by them and have always wanted to live in one.
@@mary-janereallynotsarah684I’ve always wanted to live in a lighthouse, too! We have a lot in my state (Michigan), so it’s nice to visit them.
I’m most happy about how in love they seem. You can really the kindness in their eyes for each other.

The loving honesty is so beautiful, I'm very happy for them 💞
Two very remarkable and charming individuals who express themselves very beautifully. YES, KUDOS to the parents of them both, who raised them to be the persons they are, and allowed them to find their own way in life. Very inspiring video. Many thanks!
As a Mama of a daughter with autism, this gives me great hope. Blessings on these two people!
My cousin lives in my household and has autism. At first I was kinda mad because I didn't know this has autism too. Thought he was taking advantage. This is wholesome

@@Ane127 would you be able to explain this comment please ?
Same my 16 year old has autism and just knowing that he can go out into the world and find someone to love and that loves him back and he can have a great life being married, is all I’ve ever wanted for my son to be OK in the world. ❤
My 21 year old son is high functioning autistic. He has the most beautiful relationship with his girl friend, who is fully able bodied and a graduate of an Ivy League college. She loves everything about him and vice versa. I strongly believe when we are able to see the beauty in our children’s differences, others will as well. 🫶🏻
This is hands down the most adorable couple I’ve ever seen. May we all be so lucky to find such a pure love.
Adorable...very blessed to have one another
they are an inspiration to many I'm certain..
I love these two. This was the most amazing interview I have seen about true love in a long time.
Someday I want a love like this! And SBSK has further affirmed my belief that I, as a disabled person, can and will find that for myself someday.
You're worthy of love!
You will! Your perfect person just hasn’t been put in your path yet! I have chronic health issues and ADHD, and I found my soulmate. I can be ALOT, so if I can Find my person you will too. But it’s true what they say, it does happen when you very least expect it. You are deserving of kindness and love! You’ve got this!
You truly can, be your best person every day you feel up to it!
I feel exactly the same
As the daughter of a disabled person, I became a nurse. My disabled parent was my super hero and I wanted to help people due to this. My non-disabled parent loves my disabled parent so much. This was also a very good model of love growing up. I hope you find the one for you some day. It look my disabled parent 43 years to find his love (my mom).
We need more people like Charlotte and Riley in this world.
What a slap in the face to most couples❤️
@@saverespectlovebabiesanima7325 not at all, the way they look at each other is endearing
💯
People with disabilities? Or just their bright disposition?
I wouldn’t think so
This is pure harmony !
We should deeply understand how precious people with disabilities are to our society. Their emotional intelligence is much much higher!!
How can their “emotional intelligence” be higher if “emotional intelligence” does not exist?
And what makes them precious ?
We need to understand that the people with Down we see on video and television are the exception. Most of them live very difficult and depending lives which ask great sacrifices of their families.
@@alexeykryuk3560 (re)watch the video. Try to get a sense:grasp of how effortlessly genuine they are. Without pretention. That’s precious

Wow! Wow! These two people just blew me away. How fantastic are they! Amazing couple. Thank you for sharing their story, ambition, and what the love is all about. Good luck to both of them in their future. May many hopes and dreams come their way! Thank you both and the producer!
Wow that “Amazing” from her in the beginning was So genuine.. Love many can only wish for!
That guy described love so much better than I’ve ever heard anyone explain it in my whole life. You can just feel the purity of his heart ❤️
Aw
It can be a tall man who can reach the high shelves.
My son is autistic. Sharing this means the world to me. Gives me hope. Thank you so much xx
