Honestly, your vids are SO helpful. I appreciate that they are single-focus on a topic and delivered in plain, direct information. You manage to convey that there are progressions with repetitive practice, without it sounding like a grim sentence--but a phase of building the strength & coordination. It sounds horrid, but true: I like your simple, friendly delivery--without making many asides & chatter. I'm still in a phase where my brain is working hard to process & retain info. Little stories, jokes, and chipper motivation chat---well intended, etc?? Hurts my head. (You'd think I'm Simone Biles seriously competition training for US Team Gymnastics balance beam, not re-learning to walk upright on land again.) Thank you for the videos.
Thanks David, I have been using the STEP-SMART for 4 years. In the past few years I have been fighting Knee Hyperextension. I always thought it was all from MS Spasticity in my ankle. I now understand more about why it happens. Bad habits like walking with your good leg and a cane can make your involved leg not work right. None of my PTS in the last few years ever really went over my walking habits.. Now I have a walking plan. I am hopeful that this can get me back on track.
Thank you for paying attention to the smallest details. I like the way you deal with the patient, but unfortunately I do not have the opportunity to be in your clinic.
