Holy stalker ex, batman! You need a restraining order, security cameras, alarm system, a guard dog, a carry/conceal permit, some range time and a handgun, change your ph#, block his butt! Edit: whew!
Ladies word of wisdom having treated individuals like this, YOUR BEST option is to always let someone else know where you are going to be and if you are dealing with a stalker DONT be afraid to ask a friend or coworker to escort you to your car or home if willing. Most OF ALL avoid allowing and contact even via text especially as it will give a false impression that you still have interest 100% no contact and only use a 3rd pty.
This literally happened to me!!! I was stalked, I never had any time of relationship with that guy, only an acquaintance. Nothing more, he left me threatening notes and calls (way before smart phones and high speed internet connections-- there were pay phones--) he would call me and write me threatening things… It was an awful ordeal 😢
wow, texting and crawling out of the window and running out. 3 minutes, texting on the phone and running down the stairs. this is very impressive multitasking. this is seriously impressive. I'd like to know how it works. and they are typing novels, all while running around.
seriously, I imagine her: she gets a text from shawn, climbing down on the fire escape stairs. she stops, giving shawn an answer. shawn is in her room, he receives a text. he stops and texts back. it's hard to imagine that.
Yes, fiction. The writers aren't always good about continuity & occasional plot holes. 😉 In my head I fixed it so she's an appropriate distance away in a cafe before responding; not in her car or sensibly parked while texting etc. Also...moving to Lagos seems a bit extreme, unless you already live in continental Africa and most white people would think of it as a bit dangerous even if Lagos is a major world city. Especially for a single woman.
This voice actress sounds much better across from the voice actor. She's not gotten her voices down enough to do both in one video, but she's getting better. It sounds a lot cleaner with a contrasting voice.
During the Divorce, she should've made the Condition with a Restraining Order. I find it odd how she Switches from UK to North American for the word "Privacy".
She needs to get a bodyguard and even see if she can find one that is willing to live in the house with her. Trying to find a place that will allow for a two separate bedrooms on opposite sides of the house. Shared kitchen and living areas. I’m actually really scared of people like this guy. So unpredictable.
@@TheEmpressReborn True. Restraining orders don't stop people. Being arrested after violating the order can slow them down, a bit, but that doesn't help if the nutjob has put you in the hospital or worse.
Sadly, this is actually a positive outcome to a very common problem that many women face everyday everywhere around the world. Unfortunately, this outcome is very rare, it usually ends with the woman either being murdered by her stalker, or they may end their own lives because they either see no end to the situation, or because their mental health has been so deeply damaged by the stalking. It is also something that too many men do not take seriously enough. They usually just brush it off as a "domestic" problem and refuse to get involved or, even worse, simply lie and say there is nothing they can do to help, either through sheer laziness, or because they sympathise with the stalker, in which case they should not be a police officer in the first case. Many countries are starting to try and tackle this issue, but it is slow going so far and too many women are still dying as a result. What is needed desperately is education. Educate girls as to what the warning signs of an unhealthy relationship is from at least middle school age, but also educate boys from the same age about what is acceptable behaviour towards girls and women in general. No means no!! Also educate adults too! Teach women that there is nothing wrong with ending an unequal or controlling relationship, that he doesn't have to hit you to be abusive, the abuse could be verbal or financial, that it is still abuse without violence, and teach men that it is NOT ok to cat call, harrass or do anything that may be seen by a woman as concerning, or emotionally harmful behaviour to them. But also basically educate everybody, make AND female, that ANY relationship in which the partner harms you either, physically, emotionally or otherwise, is NOT a relationship that you have to stay in, no matter what others may think or say about it. If you leave a relationship for those reasons, then anybody that tries to talk you into "trying again" is not somebody that has your best interests at heart and should be cut out of your circle by you. And friends and family, if you ever suspect that somebody you know or care about is being abused in anyway, never give them an ultimatum to leave or lose you, that does NOT help matters, just do all you can to support them and let them know that you are always there for them no matter what, eventually, they will find both the strength and courage to leave the relationship, which is when they are REALLY going to need your support!
As someone who left an abusive relationship this lady is making some big mistakes. Always, always, always change your number and only give it to close family you know won't give your number out. Her biggest mistake is interacting with him through text. Giving him any attention just makes him feel like he has a chance of talking his way back into her life. She should never have answered any of his texts. I learned quickly that you have to totally cut them off. My ex makes new Facebook pages 2 to 3 times a year trying to friend request me. I have 15 Pauls (I won't put his last name out there) blocked from my Facebook page and when he tries to message me through messenger I block him without responding. It's been a year since he tried to reach out to me this time, which is the longest he's gone yet. I'm hoping his trying to contact me is over for good now.
You should not argue with crazy. If anything Shawn and his likes will take it as encouragement. The answers should rage from "sorry, i left you because i'm only attracted to guys with prosthetic legs" to "keep doing this, and ill get a restraining order"
Talking to and trying to use common sense with a stalker and control freak is a really bad idea. Doing so is proof for the stalker that you really want to be with him. Shawn the control freak lives in his own little world inside his head and wont listen to anything.
She made some bad to VERY DANGEROUS decisions there. Going to the mall when you think you are being followed sounds like a good idea until you realize that you just gave them access to your vehicle where they can put something on it to track you like an Air pod. Instead drive to the POLICE STATION where you will be on camera and go in telling them someone has been following you. It generates a report and has the police there to see him. She was told about getting security cameras and that is a good idea, especially one inside pointed at the front door, and another outside each entrance. She totally forgot about locking and using the security chain on her door like she was told before the meeting. The lock and chain might not stop an intruder, but it WILL slow them down, and make a LOT of noise while they try to break in.
This story gave me chills. I had an ex boyfriend who tried to cut me off from friends and family. He wouldn't let me go to the grocery store alone, thinking I would have an affair with the dairy guy. He also threatened to hurt anyone he might find me with and then hurt me.
As much as it's an interesting story, she really shouldn't have engaged with him once leaving her apartment. He wants attention, and that was her giving it.
IRL this is probably good advice; would have made a dull story, though unless Shawn used his one phone call to bother his ex instead of contacting a lawyer.
Oh my God I mean we've seen so many stories with abusive and awful husbands I don't think we've seen a story with a stalker psycho husband. Oh poor Anna he literally broken to her house and she had to escape so quickly thank goodness Greg had her back otherwise who knows what Shawn could have done to her. He's literally insane 😰😰😰
I am sure the ex-husband did do something illegal in the constant monitoring and video cameras. He has some kind of mental illness. He is scary! She needs a restraining order!
Why does Anna have to explain everything to shawn? He's Liable to stalk and attack the manager after he gets out of jail, in a jealous rage. She should have just told him she had cameras everywhere watching him.
8:48 ooh Jesus he is talking like a yandere with that sentence. I would be terrified if this happened to me, and now that I think about it, everything he did was very yandere. I would ask what she ever saw in him but I know that he probably kept his true nature hidden until they were living together and married.
You should do one of these were a disabled child and disabled mother are running from a physically, mentally, and emotionally abusive man. They are very low income, have no family or friends because he ran them all off he made some believe it's all her fault, or they died years ago. The court gets involved and orders supervised visitation and phone calls. The ex husband is not supposed to call ex wife's phone but does every night sometimes 2-7 times leaving threatening messages and text, and is ordered to pay child support but refuses to pay. The ex husband keeps finding out where they live and they have to constantly move and considering that they are very low income no one wants to help or they don't have enough money to continue moving, but the police and other officials do nothing to the ex husband for continuing his mental and emotional abuse on them.
If my every move was watched like this and the amount of possessiveness he has on her is scary creepy. I only got 2 words if he shows up at her office again restraining order.
Damn. This is downright creepy. What makes it even creepier is that it happens all too often in reality. I admit, part of me was hoping he'd wind up looking down the business end of a 12-gauge.
If police took women seriously. When they say they can't intervene in marital problems they make women vunerable. This story is not a one off. Generally the stalker gets violent
Again ... WHY did Anna continue communication with Shawn .. 🙄 THEY ARE DIVORCED - they are NOT friends .. let your lawyers do the talking .... By continuing communication he thinks Anna is still interested ... She is telling him that the manager saw him on camera??? Why do people talk so much????
Um? Did you not listen? She was afraid that completely cutting him off would flip the violent switch in his head and leave her no way to at least somewhat track him, she continued contact in a bid for her safety.
What she is describing was not a marriage.. that was a prison.. what he was doing had nothing to do with safety.. it was about total control.. abusers want to know where you are at all times.. what she should've been doing is securing a restraining order.. he's nutty and is harassing her.. she should've requested one during the divorce.. she also need to take a trip to her local gun shop and shooting range.. instead of running scared, I would've been MAD...
Breaking and entering with a mental issue, yeah tell the judge that, they put him in a hospital for 30 days and pump him full of mind numbing drugs. He should actually hope for jail, at least there he would have a chance to prove how sorry he is.

Holy stalker ex, batman! You need a restraining order, security cameras, alarm system, a guard dog, a carry/conceal permit, some range time and a handgun, change your ph#, block his butt!
Edit: whew!
You forgot the shotgun!
I concur
What she needed was what she finally did: she got herself far, far away from him.
I AGREE,OR GO TO ANOTHER COUNTRY

Shawn needs his ass kicked. If he is so great, he shouldn't have a problem getting another woman.
No, women will Not dated a narasstic male person, he Needs to grow and die alone
The worst part is that there are exes like this in real life
This literally happened to me!!! I was stalked, I never had any time of relationship with that guy, only an acquaintance. Nothing more, he left me threatening notes and calls (way before smart phones and high speed internet connections-- there were pay phones--) he would call me and write me threatening things…
It was an awful ordeal 😢
You wanna meet my tazer?
wow, texting and crawling out of the window and running out.
@@kathydurow6814 yes, moving to lagos is a weird move. but they have some gated communities, where people can roam quite freely.
This voice actress sounds much better across from the voice actor. She's not gotten her voices down enough to do both in one video, but she's getting better. It sounds a lot cleaner with a contrasting voice.
During the Divorce, she should've made the Condition with a Restraining Order. I find it odd how she Switches from UK to North American for the word "Privacy".
like 10 seconds in and he feels so fucking creepy holy shit
She needs to get a bodyguard and even see if she can find one that is willing to live in the house with her. Trying to find a place that will allow for a two separate bedrooms on opposite sides of the house. Shared kitchen and living areas.
I’m actually really scared of people like this guy. So unpredictable.
Have a wonderful night everyone 👋🤗

Hi Bridget 🏝️
Good evening Bridget ❣️. I hope your Mother’s Day was everything you wished 👋🇨🇦
Well it's time for Anna to move and get a restraining order and maybe change her number
The trouble with moving then getting a restraining order is that the restraining order will HAVE HER NEW ADDRESS ON IT.
Hmmm
She could get the order then move
Shawn is a perfect example of why stalkers are very, very dangerous and beyond terrifying.
Just make sure you live in a state with strong Castle Doctrine and Stand Your Ground laws. Then intruders can be promptly dealt with.
Omg every text from him i would just reply "creep"
Evening everyone
Have a wonderful night 👋🤗
Can you say restraining order? His ass would you be in jail or the morgue
They're worth as much as the paper they're printed on, especially with stalkers. I.E.: Worthless.
@@TheEmpressReborn yep that’s why I carry..
And friends and family, if you ever suspect that somebody you know or care about is being abused in anyway, never give them an ultimatum to leave or lose you, that does NOT help matters, just do all you can to support them and let them know that you are always there for them no matter what, eventually, they will find both the strength and courage to leave the relationship, which is when they are REALLY going to need your support!
shawn needs to realize that anna doesn’t want him back and shawn needs to move on
This is a new one.
Oh man, good wishes and prayers for your safety from another 👋❣️🇨🇦
@@Mrstigger747 thank you.
Geez, this one was crazy! Glad she had a good manager.
You should not argue with crazy. If anything Shawn and his likes will take it as encouragement. The answers should rage from "sorry, i left you because i'm only attracted to guys with prosthetic legs" to "keep doing this, and ill get a restraining order"
She needs a restraining order when they divorced. An when he breaks it goes to jail. An she shouldnt have responded
A psycho would never understand why his victims fear him. Seriously..
Gave her evidence and time for him to be arrested
IRL this is probably good advice; would have made a dull story, though unless Shawn used his one phone call to bother his ex instead of contacting a lawyer.
Yes he got lots of attention ... and she is telling him everything ... Why should he think that she is "afraid" of him ...
a year ..... please
She came in through the bathroom window . Protected by a silver spoon 😂
The Delusion is strong in this one.
Thank goodness Greg was so supportive. It is good he understands the situation. Shawn needs to be in jail. Immediately
"You really are a she-devil!"
"Then you should be glad to be rid of me!"
Shawn is a creep! Thank goodnes Anna got away from him.
Story sounds like something you would see on Dallas. Shawn sounds like JR Ewing.
If my husband ever even said the word “rules” to me in that context I would start singing “what are the rules” from Sunny.
I was really hoping that the manager and op would get together.
The audacity of Shawn the creepy stalker.
Anna's 2 cents; HA HA! Leave money on the table , just to come home& do housework?
Good evening from Oregon 💜
Happy Mother’s Day 🌹
Two words: concealed carry.
If my every move was watched like this and the amount of possessiveness he has on her is scary creepy. I only got 2 words if he shows up at her office again restraining order.
Good Boss Greg. 😢❤
I had an ex like Shawn. I had to hurt his feelings beyond repair before he left me alone
Drink coffee and tea for hair growth.
Don't think extra hair would have helped Anna😂
Can we talk about how awesome the boss, that is a true employer 😊
Damn. This is downright creepy. What makes it even creepier is that it happens all too often in reality. I admit, part of me was hoping he'd wind up looking down the business end of a 12-gauge.
No my girl it will be worse
If police took women seriously. When they say they can't intervene in marital problems they make women vunerable.
This story is not a one off.
Generally the stalker gets violent
Anna please stick to your guns 😂and don't back down no matter what
Again ... WHY did Anna continue communication with Shawn .. 🙄
THEY ARE DIVORCED - they are NOT friends .. let your lawyers do the talking ....
GREG IS THE MVP.
Shawn is such a monster and he deserves to be in prison were he belong for what he did to his ex wife
Breaking and entering with a mental issue, yeah tell the judge that, they put him in a hospital for 30 days and pump him full of mind numbing drugs. He should actually hope for jail, at least there he would have a chance to prove how sorry he is.
Some good GD drops here! Jesus, the guy is a nut!
People like Shawn are obsessed.Restraining orders usually just send them into overdrive!
Not just breaking and entering, but stalking as well.
The rationalizations of a control freak. Lock him up for LONG term mental evaluation. A good thing for her.
