MIL's head is not up in the clouds. It's up her own backside. She has no right and no business changing the locks on OP and her husband's house, rules are not hers to make, she has no right to demand money from OP or to try to "charge" her for living in her own house, and she needs to be kicked to the curb over this. She clearly lied to her son about what she did. And after she'd only been living with them for A WEEK?? The woman must be insane!
Her entitlement did her in. She thought she knew best. She couldn't keep up with the way things are changing. So she took it out on everyone and it cost her the relationship with her son and daughter and law. Then she gets a job and insults one of the part time co-workers who turns out to be the owner's daughter. After getting fired, she vanishes into thin air. Probably because now, she burned all her bridges with everyone and no one is there to help her out. Chances are, she's among the homeless or living in the countryside working on a farm.
What is wrong with the Mil?? You have absolutely no right to change the locks on his house!!! Stop acting like you don't know what working from home is because everyone knows!!! She's just acting like a entitled witch Sounds like a great time to move out and leave the crazy woman on her own
Geez, my MIL is 87 years old completely understands the concept of working from home. Also, I don't get why the heck she didn't just go back home after her husband got there?
Why did Mark allow his crazy mother to run a muck for as long as she did?.. they should've BEEN threw her sorry butt out. MIL have NO legal right to change locks on a house that doesn't belong to her. I really don't understand why a married couple is living with in laws?.. especially a disrespectful, rude, bullying, delusional in law at that!.. that is NOT a thing.. she would've been one dead MIL.. how much does MIL bring in and where does she work?🤨
Why is it that the men in these stories have no power or backbones? How is a visitor/guest going to change the locks on MY house without my permission? My mom nor my in-laws could just walk in and put me or my wife out of something I am paying for.
Me too. Must be over seas? Or if you work for Disney they have employee housing, but it's all Disney themed stuff and you can't put any of your stuff up
Why even continue the conversation with MIL? It should have been a call for a locksmith (MIL charged with the bill of course), entering the house and evicting MIL ASAP. No way I would let anyone who is staying with me throw me out of my own house. And what it is with these people in these stories that they leave their stuff behind? If anyone behaves like this - throwing me out without warning - I wouldn’t trust them not to destroy, sell or throw away my belongings. And why are OP and her husband in this story thinking about where OP can stay? Hubby is in the house, he can let his wife come in. And then it’s goodbye and good riddance to Mother/ MIL.
OMG, another story about not understanding the concept of working remotely from home. I think I have seen like 20 different versions of the same story and getting fed up by them. I can't even finish this one.
Since most people over the age of 55 in this country, have greater intelligence than the younger generations because we learned things like science and math and things like that in school, we completely understand working from home. I really wish these would stop acting like we don't understand. In fact to be quite honest with you, I have to go randomly fix my kids computers all the time for them. My husband is 60 and works in a school district and is usually amazed how little kids actually really understand about their computers. They know how to use apps maybe. But not computer's. They have no idea. But that would make sense because we're the ones who invented them. At least personal computers and don't say I'm wrong because I used to live in California and I knew all the boys who went to Bellarmine prep school. That would include Wozniak, Jobs and Gates. I actually saw the very first PC that Wozniak took to Hewlett-Packard and they turned down. Had a wood frame. Yes people in my age know a great deal more than you do. Most of us had the first run computers using DOS. I doubt most of you could do that. But I am truly amazed at the stupidity of Gen. X. I have a couple of nieces in that category and they were in high school and trying to work out a small fraction problem. I mean a fraction problem so small. I easily did it in my head in under 5 seconds. I learned that in the fourth grade. How can you be in high school and not know how to do that? But there they were with their calculators unable to figure it out. These aren't stupid. Girls. Obviously not very good at math but certainly not stupid. Generation just isn't very bright. So if you want to talk about people who don't understand technology you got gen x they certainly don't. But please do continue with your ageist stupidity.
As soon as he read the texts, hubby should have been on his way to the motel to be with his wife.... then he can call mommy and tell her they going no contact after they get their stuff.... oh that wouldn't be much of a story I guess...
She must get $5k a month? That is about the minimum wage in Australia for a full time worker. It is just under $30 an hour at the moment. Many people think tbat it is too low and pressure to raise it at the moment.
This one didn’t follow the standard script format, e.g. that she ended up working day and night living in a shoddy rundown apartment or making a loan from a shady loan business lol
If someone changed my locks I would break in and make sure they pay for any damage.

Well, after she got kicked out of her apartment... Maybe she was jonesing to bully someone. Bullies gotta bully.
Just call the police, and have MIL REMOVED, and trespassed. Then a PPO and end of the annoying MIL.
I'm betting if she passes gas, she swears it's roses 🌹
Call the Police Put Bitch MIL out!
Hey Mark I'm going to be packing and leaving. Hope you and Mom can afford the house by yourself!
Her entitlement did her in. She thought she knew best. She couldn't keep up with the way things are changing. So she took it out on everyone and it cost her the relationship with her son and daughter and law. Probably because now, she burned all her bridges with everyone and no one is there to help her out. Chances are, she's among the homeless or living in the countryside working on a farm.
And so, the idea of remote work (or as I like to call it, Zoom work) eludes yet another in-law! An MIL this time!
And this is why scientists do not rely on a single data point.
Oopsies.... That old woman was really kicking a hornet's nest.
And got stung by the entire swarm
There is a reason that MIL is divorced and fired…the whole conversation is further proof as to why …
If that happened too me that door was open very fast and dear mom was flying out so fast her feet wouldn't tough the ground.
What is wrong with the Mil??

Why bother moving? It’s the MIL that has to go.
@@defender4004that's easy, so she can get off her butt and get a damn job

The writers make the DILs weak and the husband's mommy's boys

The idea of companies having dormitories seems strange to me.
Me too. Must be over seas? Or if you work for Disney they have employee housing, but it's all Disney themed stuff and you can't put any of your stuff up
But the excuse the MiL made was BS about the apartment being pulled down so had to move into their place was never mentioned again?

The background music is way too loud and out of nowhere you can barely hear Mil ( not that it's a bad thing)
DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!
Background music is way too loud to hear voiceovers
Why did you turn the volume down? Harder to hear.
Background music is too loud and detracts from the story.
Mark says your mom when she's his mom.
OMG, another story about not understanding the concept of working remotely from home. I think I have seen like 20 different versions of the same story and getting fed up by them. I can't even finish this one.
Bye
Music is too damn loud. Very intrusive! 😡

Why should Cindy give MIL money.
