There wss a Yiddle in there too because when they did the spin off series Mister Moltured kept calling her Rachel Yiddle. She deniged knowing him but I remembered that was part of her name. A nice call back.

This scene always cracks me up! 😂😂 Even though there's a big inconsistency, as on an earlier episode, I clearly heard someone call Mrs. Slocombe "Betty", but this show was notorious for inconsistencies, so I can overlook it.
Well, Miss Brahms probably forgot (she’s not the brightest bulb), Mr Rumbold would have been in his office, and the Men’s Counter and Captain Peacock wouldn’t have given a crap to remember.
I remember the episode where they said her full name but in the other episodes they call her Betty......=) I know one thing for sure I love all the actors and actresses on the show and in many other sitcoms and movies and enjoy him to this day and I'll never forget them they'll always be in our families viewing watch much love to you all rest in peace dear Souls

I know I'm 6 years late, but Betty is short for Elizabeth.
