  • I had a Yanmar 1GM sitting 20 years on my workshop shelf. Decided finally to sell it, and serviced it for the new owner. New oils, new filters, new sink, new impeller, checked the fuel lines. The engine has run only about 300 hours so far. It started and ran ok, but I noticed the water pump was dripping. So I ordered new lip seals and fixed the pump. I thought somebody might wanna see my way of doing it, (although there are many videos of it already) so I shot a video of the process.

My man. You have no idea - you are the ONLY ONE among dozens I've tried to follow the steps of who properly described every relevant step.

My friend, I have been having troubles with my fuel bleeding system after the tank ran dry and I remembered last time there was ONE video which helped me fix everything and it was yours. Took a while to find again but it works again, so thank you VERY MUCH!!!

Your video is exactly the information I needed. Thank you so much. Even if not many people see it, it is a huge help to people like me. Please keep telling your story. I will come see you often.

Hello. Do you know if the seal is TC (Double lip) or SC (single lip)?
