My favorite run is several trails and glades strung together to make one epic run! McIntyre Glade to Mineshaft Glade, to The Narrows. It's not the easiest to figure out from the trail map, but if you can find a local to give you a tour, you'll be in heaven!
I go up all the time. I love the mountain but conditions this week were really bad. Still really fun though. I’ll be back up some time later this month
You're a lucky bugger Lincoln. I grew up near Mt Buller, in Victoria, Australia. Good snow most years, and good runs, but you guys have great snow, and more variety. Plenty of skiable snow in SE Australia during winter. Cheers, I'll enjoy our summer while you munch moguls.🌨️🌨️🌨️😊
I have skied the Epic midweek pass for the last 2 seasons and been missing Gore. Concidering a pass for Gore next season, at 67 wish the state offered the senior rate at 65 like other resorts. Funny all the benefits that the State offers its employees but won’t offer a break to us regular New York senior skiers till 70.
Fri. The 15th was my 2nd day ever here, this season is my first time skiing in 15 years. Love Gore so far. Plan on coming on as many Mondays and Fridays as I can manage. So far my favorites are Topridge, Quicksilver, and Tahawus. Uncas was crazy today with absolutely massive mountains of manmade snow on steep pitches. Ive never skiied anything like that before. Near the bottom one of the giant mounds had a ridiculous forward drop, I wussed out and had to turn around and ride back down the rear face and go around. Im guessing its not normally like that but they made all that snow in huge piles to hopefully store through incoming high temps?
Those piles of snow are known as whales. When they make a bunch of snow whales form and usually they’ll wait a few days to push them out, especially if rain is in the forecast
All of the music comes from Epidemic Sound. The first song is My Last Song (Tigerblood Jewel Remix) by The Eastern Plain The second is Alv by bomull The last song is Motivation by Henyao
Cap. I’ve been going to gore since I was 4 and I have season passes for both gore and whiteface. Don’t get me wrong, whiteface is amazing, but gore is better in my opinion

Any of the glades are my favorite as long as there is some snow
I love the glades so much
I was just at Gore yesterday. Was hoping to get into the glades, but none were open :/

Twister, Echo, Showcase, Uncas and Chatiemac are my favorites. Long trails to make some nice turns on
Those have been my favorites since I was 8 (started skiing at fire when I was 4) I’ve got a vacation house up in schroon lake
Gore has the best glades!!!
I’ve yet to dive into the glades there, but everyone always talks about them. I’ll have to finally ski them this year
@@LincolnintheAdirondacksthey are great

My brother says you gotta try The Rumor run next season!

Favorite runs: Foxlair, Pine Knot, Cloud, Ruby Run, Twister
Ruby Run- the one right off the gondola that looks towards the summit? That has a great view
