That Firestorm-fight was legendary. Almost brought a tear to my eye seeing my two favorite robots slug it out.
dont care how destructive a robot is, Razer will always be the best because it looks so awesome

Just in case anyone was wondering, the name Razer wasn't a typo, it was a pun. You shave with a razor; Razer's name was taken from 'raze' i.e. to destroy, flatten and level (a city for instance) so utterly that no two stones are left standing.
What a pity that technology has moved on so far that wonderful robots like Razer are no longer really viable. 'Affordable' hardened steel armour-plating kinda spoils things! Razer still has tremendous charisma; the design is unforgettable.
Its just that most "hardened steel" you see on robots actually isn't hardened steel at all. Every second robot claims to have it, yet with 90% of them it looks like some mild steel.

The way around it is tungsten tips. But the day of the claw bot is over really (im still peeved the bbc dropped robot wars to make way for "new exciting programming"

"Weaknesses: None?" Aren't Sir Killalot's internal areas flammable? He's caught fire a few times if memory serves...
Another easy way to get em is have some sort of throwaway weapon like a giant metal pole or something and jam it into the treads, then its a simple "Cmere fishy fishy" for the important parts like engine, batteries etc.
Well to be fair they just like making people think he is invincible I mean that’s why his strength was listed as being “seemingly invincible”
Fallen on his face once or twice too and lost hydraulic fluid by getting clipped from matilda

Razer vs s3 is so brutal, razer just speeding around s3 and ripping into its throat silencing it instantly and proceeding to just rip and tear chunks of plate and then offering the corpse to the house robots to end it.
Man it pisses me off so bad that Bigger Brother made it to the grand final and not Hypno-Disc. Can't believe we'll never get to see Hypno-Disc vs Razer
They did plan a Hypno-Disc vs Razer in Extreme 1, but both teams chose not to because of the damage that the robots would sustain in the fight.
You are so right dude. I was a kid back then and Hypno-Disc and Razer are my first and second favorite robot. I guess this fight will never come...

*I still hate Bigger Brother for beating Hypno-Disc, my favourite ever robot.
One of my favorites is Razer vs Widows Revenge because if you think about it, the boys from team Razer are married to the girls on Widows Revenge’s team making it a case of domestic violence followed by homicide
Ben Mason the razer team and hypno disk team were the reason for it not happening.... they both didn’t wanna fight each other as they were worried of the damage there robots would suffer at the hands of each other wanting to carry on fighting in the competition instead.......but it would have been EPIC though

Nuts 2 especially due to how it went from being sort of a joke to a legitimate threat when it managed to take out the weapon chain of Carbide

Well, Sir Killalot does effectively break the rules for 'standard' competition, via weight. Though I remember way back when someone put it in a pit. Possibly the only serious defeat for Killalot.

Glenn Bowman Jr. it did get set on fire twice as I remember..... it’s internal parts r actually flammable...... if only the robots had flamethrowers.....they could set him on fire and disable him

I remember there being one robot with a sloped hull that Razer had a very hard time penetrating. That would be a start for getting rid of the thing.

Season 5 was probably Robot Wars peak. Season 6 was good, but the final battle no doubt left many with a sour taste in their mouth.
Series 7 ending as well, I was surprised that the Judges and production crew let Tornado fight with that cage, the cage should have been a bit smaller because it couldnt be pitted

The fight with firestorm has to be my favorite fight on robot wars,
I still think firestorm should have won but thats just my opinion
old channel firestorm got disarmed and punctured.Sure they almost pushed razer into the pit but they didnt.Razer had lesser damage

Scott Summers firestorm pushes Razer into walls, Sgt.bash and shunt multiple times for the entire fight and he damaged razers beak
And btw it's not that hard to copy and paste.
old channel pushing into walls has no effect other than frustration for razer team.Could be seen as defensive.Rewatch the video.Most of the time Shunt and the cp robots end up hitting firestorm instead of razer because of its god awful positioning.Thus firestorm took more damage from them than Razer.Razers beak was slightly scarred up compared to Firestorms' inoperational,punctured,dented flipper.
