@John so happy to hear that this video has been interesting for you, stay tuned to Careervues for similar videos. 👍 my best wishes for clearing your probation period.
There are some employers that put absolutely no effort to bring a new person, they don’t even bother to provide proper training, they expect too much and as soon as these expectations are not met, they get rid of that new hire. Usually these are the companies with high turnover rate.
Zarine I 100% agree with you. There are some bad organizations who DO NOT -show up on time for interviewing - Ghost candidates without any response after interview - have no proper onboarding process This leads to low retention rate along with having employees who are in need of work without any passion for what they do for the company. I have made a video for such HR professionals to make it better for them, do share it with anyone who needs to understand better onboarding process : th-cam.com/video/xL8JWZz0R30/w-d-xo.html
I completely agree, understand and respect what one of you have discussed. I am undergoing exactly the same problem. They don't want to train you. This is particularly the *Major complicated problem * Any new organization for that matter new industry is expected to train the new hire But they don't do the needful and keep unrealistic and unreasonable expectations which when not met makes the employer and management lay the blame on the employee and makes them part ways
Thanks a lot for the video. I need your advice. I am passing a probation period in a well known company, but the girl who is training me is just rude and whenever I ask her questions, she tells me sarcasm or tells me "I've already told you before! Check your notes" and do on. She loses her temper very quickly. I need your advice about how to deal with her during probation period
Your most welcome Elnaz, I am glad you liked this video. Regarding your concerns I would like to advise you that probation period is a critical period that we all have to pass cautiously. If your training supervisor is insensitive/ rude try to casually speak with her at a good time about how her behavior / comments impacts your work ( make sure to keep conversation related to work only) and what are your concerns while showing the willingness to contribute to your work in a better way. I am hopeful this would improve your understanding towards each other and will make things better. Sometimes the right communication is the key to solve many problems. Let me know how it goes 😊
Hi Nabila Don’t get scared if someone raises their voice. It’s their way of pushing people away. When you are stern in your approach such people calm down. Stick to the topic and get your answers.

Hi Nancy, I will surely make a video about it but in the meantime, I suggest you practice not to take things personally. People speak whatever they want to, all you can do is to be objective. Your work should speak for you and in long run you can challenge them on professional grounds.
I got the email from the Ceo today for a translator position, I never get a job before and knew nothing about probation period what so ever.. But this video really helped me a lot.. Thanks for the useful tips and advice
Hello I will like to try out the Probationary Strategy as you mentioned on 9:45. Can you elaborate on this in further detail? I’m a visual learner and was wondering what this looks like and if you can show me on the comments? Thanks in advance!
I am on my probation period, and no one has ever highlighted any issues with me, but later on my probation meeting they mentioned so many issues which I wasn't aware. What should I do?
Hi Christine, In above case you must ask your manager 1:1 what are his/ her concerns and how can you work towards improving things. May be they put you on performance improvement plan. First it’s important to understand what are the real issues. Let me know how it goes for you.

I join one of the mnc from one month and I got another good offer from another company if I resign my first company then is it illegal bcz I need to serve notice period and it will show over my pf account?
Hi Archana If it’s been a month you must be still on probation. Check your contract about leaving during probation. If the offer is worthwhile you can go on leave not to come back and without getting into any documentation and completely delete this experience from your career. It totally depends what do you want to do further, take your decision accordingly. Let me know how it works out.
It is absurd to accuse me and am sure this violate the rule . Short notice and a piece of paper that performance not up to standard n does not meet their requirements. This is not truth n I denied all accusation made on me

Hi Subhankar, My answer would depend on below clarifications from you : How much time you have been in the company? Would you be ok to skip this job from your profile entirely? Are you ready to compromise on your final settlement? Let me know so I can guide you further.
@Subhankar in this case you can go on an emergency leave and join new organization. The consequences will be no release letter, no references or no end of service benefits. Moreover if you mention about this company people might get to know about your short tenure and leaving without exit formalities. Take an informed decision.

Hope it gets sorted soon!
Effective
Hi Nancy only worded as written notice , termination notice for contract 1 month with compensation
hmm I see.
Hi Nancy as per MLC2006 convention minimum notice to be established ship owner
Ok I understand as it’s different for different professionals.
Notice of letter received at 1400 hrs and have asked to leave vessel by 1600 hs
Working for someone always includes some unfair options
