i really like aqua crops it really make shores look livelier and just greener. ALSO BRIDGES YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! BUFF BRIDGES YEAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! BRIDGES YEAAAAAHHH!!!!!
Yes, the market change is good and makes them more useful Be sure to go on the official channel and tell the devs what you think. They need to hear player feedback
I mentioned this before during the Path of the Ocean Beta, one thing Aqua crops are bad is they will be messy to look on the shores, anyone loves Aquacrop but see Midjiwan noticed it. All in all good update except for, they should add another thing under the Rammers Tech to make it more interesting. Also I hope they will stick to the old Markets design before this beta. (Do not make the market taller the highier the level, instead make it for example the highier the Sawmill level the more wood was laid in the market side.)
Midjiwan simply didn't like the Aquacrops. It's his game and he does want he likes As for the markets, yes. The really tall market tower blocks the view of the map and looks strange
As a perfection enthusiast I think these changes reworks a lot the strategy around building high scores in the late game, on the current vanilla version you are capable to reach up to 280 stars per turn between upgraded cities and mostly, markets, their rework will make slower to build up your eco and will limit significantly more your effective temple tiles so, overall even with these requiring less turns to be maxed out the lower income should make significalty harder to get higher scores by your own, and instead you wanna play around taking enemy territory once they have maxed out their cities, also the new key turns to make temples would be 22, 24, 26, 28
@ampionsfor hodrick and luxidor its really easy to making 2 market level 8 😆, i try xinxie, its more hard, i try ai-mo but ai-mo not has many forest 😅. for now version (not beta), ai-mo the best for use market, but yeah any rule for that, has water for harbor and not battle until turn 15, only worth for 4 player normal or bigger map and no opponent from pro player hahahaha
This patch overall seems like a indirect buff to tribes who have been heavily affected by the Path of the Oceans update, and a balance to the tech tree, markets are more cost efficient, bridges aren’t the cost of ports, water may become a sub objective instead of a main task on lakes and continents and less of a “tyrant of the tree”, and this may lead to opening ideas for the special tribes (cough* Aquarion & Elyviön)! Curious in what potential new tech will maybe replace aqua farms or maybe indirectly buff markets or bridges on step more?
Yes. Overall, it feel like a step in the right direction. The devs said their next project is to rework special tribes. Finger's crossed Aquarion, Elyrion, Cymanti and Polaris get some good changes
I don’t really like the lighthouse change, it gets rid of all make up qualities of spawning in the corner of the world. Why does a Veteran Rammer have 15 and not 20 HP? Is the troop inside only a warrior? Lastly, I hope they make bridges able to be built diagonally
Yeah, many players felt that the lighthouse spawns were too OP. Good point about the veteran rammer having 15 hp. It makes more sense for it to have 20 Bridges should work the same as roads
@polychampions 5 seems fine I guess. Btw, I really wanna see more tournaments. If possible I would love to organise one I can also gather a prize pool.
i think rammer and scouts should be put together, unit utility strong together... For bomber i would love if they can't kill unit below 3/4, since "canon" good at hitting large unit but struggle to snipe a small unit or individual. It gives catapult and archer chance to deal minor damages/fight back and prevent off-shore bombardment strats, at least if you want to decimate my army you must invest in knight to wipe out my weaken units.. Bridges, I would love if it become fortified bridges, can be capture and give defense bonus like a town.. so your unit can move over them like normal but enemy must capture the bridges the be able to move past them. Making bridge good place to put defensive unit and become vital point to contest.
Yes. I have seen some games where a knight going over a bridge in the late game broke stalemate. We actually have a video showcasing that th-cam.com/video/S-30o778YrU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=kJ4hmdZoUsNGyv0A
As a perfection player the changes aren’t really too interesting, just different. Getting more temples is incentivized a lot more now so I think that scores for perfection will overall be higher than before the update, even with the score multiplier lowered.
How does this guy not understand nerfing bombers to 3 attack ismthe biggest buff to rammy rams? He thinks removing aquacrops nerf them but they just became significantly more important
They keep nerfing my favorite tribes. (This being kickoo) I believe it's for the best though I will keep adapting and dominating. Changes all make sense. Rammers are so important that I do research on my opponents to see when they obtain them and build my strategy around their view on rammers
Yeah, I wish the devs would improve the weaker tribes rather than nerf the good ones Also, you should be getting a payment from the rammer mafia soon. Keep up the good work
@@polychampions tbf, when Bardur is sticking out THAT far ahead of the other tribes in terms of wins, he does need a nerf if balance is the end goal. There are weaker tribes that need buffs, but some of the strong tribes really did warrant nerfs. ... though I'm unsure how this change is a nerf to Kickoo. Seems like starting with the ports tech instead of having to buy it, while keeping fishing (t0 tribe), is an overall boon for Kickoo.
I feel like in the last time kickoo was getting only buffs, I mean in path of ocean they got cheaper ports and ports technology (although it was for all tribes) and got autmatic deep water access plus scout ships, and now the lose the ability to go on the deep water from the begining but get ports as their starting tech. It seems as a nice buff rather than a nerf
@@polychampions I swear I was thinking that exact sentence about improving weaker tribes. I'm pretty sure they're going to start with sailing instead of ports because that is what they currently are they start with a second tier Tech
Theyre nerfing everything so thats its all as equal as possible but that just makes any choice the right one. Naval has upgrading advantage but nooo no 10 stars for you If they keep this going there wont be space for tactics anymore. Or skill. Bc every decision os the same
i really like aqua crops it really make shores look livelier and just greener.

the bridge and shoreline changes are really stealth yaddak buffs
Yes. The change in markets also helps Yadakk
I played the beta. I really enjoy the new market overhaul that simplifies the concept of the market.
Yes, the market change is good and makes them more useful

yay markets are now more markety

Good to hear from the Perfection people. Thanks
markets are now comparable to costom houses lets go :D
market will op, i think for xinxie😂
You think markets are as strong as custom houses use to be?
@@polychampions depends on how you manage to place them like if they gemerate 5 they can pay themself and for example sawmill in two turns

bomber from sea ruin was too op imo
Yeah. Also, sometimes you actually didn't want a bomber in that spot because it would just get destroyed
I took a break from this channel when I lost my Polytopia account. I am so glad that this is the video that I stumbled upon.
Glad to have you back. Enjoy :)
I love the market buff, but it's still not comparable to the custom houses
Hello Kester. Yes, markets are better now, but not as strong as CH were. Still a step in the right direction
Upsides: Yadakk has more options and is slightly stronger (bridges and markets) downsides: no more farms..
Good points about Yadakk

Give me my aquafarms back !!! And the old look of the rammer !!!
Changing the marketplace - good
Nerfing the bomber - very good
Did the rammer mafia send you?
@@polychampions Rammer is the only way !!!
Hahahaha RAMMER. Love you guys
Thanks. Tell the Rammer Mafia hello from us :)
The market change nerfs xin-xi, because forges usually have a lower level than sawmills
Yes. You are much more likely to see a higher level sawmill than a forge
That sponsorship was hilarious. Also hope innofunni gets paid more by the institution. 🙏🙏
Thanks. Inno wrote the script and composed the music for the sponsor ad. Monlet did the voice.
Made me laugh so hard, lol
yeah bridges needed buff.
More of a buff? The cost was reduced to 5 stars.

I like most of it! Like the light house nerf and bombers nerf.
Yeah, the biggest impacts are the lighthouse fog for corner spawns and bomber having lower attack
What if when you build a bridge, whoever crosses it pays you a star
Oh. Interesting idea. Like a toll road
I will say, Bridges have let me end alot of stalemates..... I had games where a river Bridge with a Knight allowed for a 10+ knight chain

What if aquatic crops only spawned in the ocean? That would eliminate the interference with naval battles.
That's an interesting idea. If you're in the official discord, you should post it for the devs to see
Can I join the beta with mobile device on play store?
Not sure if the new beta was released for the testers on mobile but if it was you need to download a "Testflight" app and the beta will be there.
@@polychampions unfortunately i'm not a tester, do we have a rough estimate when the new changes/updates will be implemented on mobile and steam?
I'm really now coming to the conclusion that all the bridges I've built have led to my demise.
Yeah, bridges allow you opponent to reach you as easily as you can reach them
We need aqua crops and now a nerf for Cymanty. They has a F knight with tier one and lvl 5 city in turn 7/8 lol
Yeah, Cymanti is probably the strongest tribe in the game after Imperius. The devs said they play to rework the special tribes in their next beta
Oh cool i might bother with markets once in a while now
Yeah, Give markets a try
Burn forest
that goes from 2 to 5 stars is a really bad idea. It's too expensive.
Yeah. With burn forest being 5 stars, you're actually spending 10 stars to get two population, if you include the cost of the farm
I feel like bombers need more nerfs
Yeah, going from 4 to 3 attack is a step in the right direction, but Bombers still have splash and are very strong
How does this guy not understand nerfing bombers to 3 attack ismthe biggest buff to rammy rams? He thinks removing aquacrops nerf them but they just became significantly more important
