Used to work in a gas station, 3am had this guy com in, late 20s, grab soda chips and Nylons. Working that shift you often saw strange shit so never questioned people's life choices. Without missing a beat, as he is paying he tells me he works the tuna boats and they are the best for keeping the legs warm under the trousers.

For a long time i was afraid that the Nylon leggings would melt, But, i tried it a long time ago and it worked ! I been using them every since, Much Much cheaper than paint filter and things > So NYLON LEGGINGS or PANTYHOSE is what i use in straining honey and hot wax
Never thought to use them for strainlng honey. Then again I have a whole stack of cone paint filters and I don't paint anymore, they will get used first. And I wondered if pantyhose would melt. Guess Dollar tree will soon be out of pantyhose, don't care what they think.

@@ikkonoishi At 515 degrees wax will be way past it's flashpoint. It might actually try to ignite at that temp. Beyond that beeswax will be way past the point of thermal decomposition. Beeswax melts way below the 212 degree temp of boiling water.

Thanks for the videos! Have you ever tried a solar wax melter? Looking at some of your cut-out rebuilds, you have the skills to make yourself an A-1 deluxe model. You can use paper towels to filter and you normally have to render only once. Plus, it being hotter than the hubs of hell down there, you could run it about all year. They’re like one of those Ronco Showtime fryers, set it & forget it.
628DirtRooster Bees do you have a vid on how to build a solar wax melter? With the stocking held down by a couple of bricks in the bottom of the boiler and the wax floating to the top, you could leave it to cook all day in the sun and collect the set wax early the next morning.

Just today I melted some wax in a bucket. I need to figure out some ~system better than what I've done, but this pantyhose bit looks like a great idea! I had 1/4 of a bucket filled with crushed wax and was amazed at how little I ended up with! Too bad she didn't work out. Did she at least lay a few eggs before they _Offed_ her?

My husband is a diver and the guys wear them under their wetsuits. Pretty much a standard.
Regency Lass I believe it's common in Queensland, protecting surfers' legs from jellyfish stings.

Nylon melts at 515F. So just watch the temperature.

Why don't you use paint strainer they fit 5 gallon buckets. Should work on a big stew pot.

Looked up the tree, it’s a Tung tree . Tung oil comes from the nuts . All parts of the tree are considered poisonous. Native to Asia.
