The accident clock is perfect. I love clocks too. Every thing is beautiful. I wonder where the blue and white napkin comes from. I can never find anything interesting in napkins. They make beautiful decoupage. ❤❤❤❤
All of them are fantastic. Wildly creative but fave was #4 & I think that was yours. I really need to think how to merge pieces together like you do. That candlestick was beyond brilliant. ❤❤❤❤❤
I often wonder, does this woman lay awake all night thinking of these brilliant ideas or does it just come to her on the fly? Amazing as usual. I would definitely keep that blue and white candle stick holder with the bird! Love it!
Sherry, I find myself wishing you did more than one video a week! As an English woman, I can confirm that I love tea! Loved the pineapple bookend paperweight. Take care darling. Charlotte xx🇬🇧
Oh, I am always so extremely flattered when a real English person likes something I have copied from their culture! In America, we prefer coffee most of the time.
This is why I love your channel. I love all things old and from the past. We are too quick to dismiss nostalgia and where we came from. The old ways to me are far more honest and challenging than our modern way of life. I love and appreciate our past generations…..
I absolutely LOVED every project, but that clock took the entire show to a whole new level. In the immortal words of Bob Ross, the varnish coming through the white chalk paint was a happy accident...
When I saw the book I thought " That has got to be the most imaginative thing in the video." but she just kept them coming. I honestly can't pick a favorite.
The clock is my favorite, but I like another viewer’s suggestion of making the columns look like marble either with paint or contac paper- I think your favorite is the flower arrangement. You truly are gifted and so inspiring!
My favorite is the blue and white candlestick. I think you would have to pick the clock. I think you should leave it the way it is. Awesome diys, Sherry!!
Sherry number 3 would be my pick. That is an absolutely gorgeous flower arrangement. The rest are very good but that flower arrangement just blows me away. 🤗💓💞💕
Sherry you are the Queen of Creativity!! I was so intrigued by what you came up with for this regency era in England! I loved all the projects you created. I knew you would have to keep the clock as they r a favorite collector's item. Long live Queen Sherry!
One of the reasons why I love your channel and content is that you don’t just paint over the majority of your projects and call it a DIY. You actually transform things. I’m not familiar with the show that you’re using as inspiration but you certainly paid a lot of attention to the details from it! While the clock wasn’t complicated, the changes were dramatic and turned out to be a happy accident, making it my personal favorite and maybe be yours too?
I really like the unplanned result of the mantel clock. There was too much contrast previously, but the "new look" is amazing!!! What luck!!!! My favorite from today, WITHOUT A DOUBT, is the footed vase with the flowers!!! That's the one I would want to keep!!! As a side note, I am a Regency Era living historian! I teach educational programs to the public at historic places (museums, homes, other buildings). You've done your research!!!! Excellent job!!!!!
Sherry, when my daughter was in HS her friends used to have period parties. I remember when they did the Regency period and we shopped at thrift stores to find an appropriate dress. Happy memories. Thanks for sharing your talent. The flowers were my favorite this week.😊
I would repaint the discolored side bars of the clock. The cream colored bars gave a refreshing relief from the gold and dark colored background of the clock face.
*Sherry, I think you kept the clock because you love clocks so much, LOL❣️🤣🤎 I like the "happy accident" of the bleed through, but to tone down the orange a little bit, you could rub on a very light coat of antiquing wax. Or, you could make the columns look like marble by wrapping some Dollar Tree faux marble contact paper around the columns. 😉* *My personal favorite was the Chinoiserie candlestick,🕯since I love 💙🤍💙🤍 blue and white AND BIRDS 🐦🤍💙❣️🤪 However, EVERYTHING YOU MADE TODAY was FABULOUS‼️ The pagoda picture frame in blue and white was INSPIRING, as was the marble bookend with the brass pineapple❣️🍍 The floral arrangement was stunning 😍 and the Tea 🫖 Caddy was the PERFECT SHAPE with the lid and handles and the additional gold and rose embellishments over flat black. 🍃🌹🌺🌹🍃 I am a tea drinker 🫖 NOT a coffee drinker, and I would be proud to use a tea caddy like that in my home❣️😉🥰👍🏼 I really liked the marriage of disparate items to make the quill🪶pen holder; it's very pretty. I have never watched Bridgerton. Based on what you shared with us, I think I would like it because I like the Regency Style, Victorian ephemera and designs, silhouettes, ornate gold frames, glass paperweights and old inkwell desk sets and blotters with fancy brass letter openers, etc. - all of that frou frou stuff, LOL‼️* *Sherry, do you have a link for those blue and white napkins? I would like to try my hand at making some DIY Chinoiserie pieces to add to my blue and white Chinoiserie and Chinese collectibles. 💙🤍💙*
The clock and vase with the beautiful flower arrangement are my favorite ones but all are, as usual, strictly Sherry!!!😂 I get so excited when I wake up on Tuesday morning and remember "Canterbury Cottage!" Thanks for another wonderful video Sherry!!😊
Once I saw the thumbnail, I couldn't click fast enough! THIS is how I have my living room decorated, all due to a beautiful picture I inherited from my Grandmother. Soooo many good ideas in the video! And yes, I knew the clock would be your favorite. Second guess would have been the bird candlestick which I think is my favorite.
I'm writing this before I check the description box to see your favorite... I believe you and I both think the clock is the one that you should keep - it is the one I would keep!.. edit: YES!!!
I love them all but the flower arrangement has my ❤. It's stunning! My guess is that your favorite is the chinoisiere candlestick. It's a great makeover!
Thank you, Lady Di! I did love the flowers, but I ended up keeping the clock for myself. I really liked how it looked next to the floral picture in my foyer.
I can see you working on movie sets. Designing sets and decor. ❤❤❤❤ Making all of the decor for the show or movie. Imagine all the wonderful things you could create. ❤
What a fun group of projects! You should have lived in the Regency Era because you would have been able to decorate perfectly. I can’t pick a favorite but I think the pen stand was simple but elegant.
Thank you! In all the videos I’ve watched where transfers are applied, I’ve never seen anyone show what to do when things don’t go as expected. I’m so glad you demonstrated how you fixed it.
You are SUPER Talented! I would guess the chinoiserie bird/candle stick is your favorite but maybe it’s the small portrait beside the bed (?). All of today’s projects are unique and pretty. You are the Reining Queen of Decordom and our Ladyship of Cleverness!!! I haven’t watched any of the show but I love older Jane Austen movies.
#3 the vase is my favorite. The clock looks good with the rusty look but I don’t think the Regency era would approve. Crisp and clean would be the order of the day.
I don't think i would have painted the clock or taken apart the brass pineapple lamp but, you always make everything look beautiful so definitely not disappointed.
13:15 if you want to give copy prints of paintings a more "real" look. Just use Mod Podge in a chaotic crisscross painting pattern over the print. When it dries up clear, the paper has the look/texture of a painted canvas.✌🏻☺️
What a treat your video is today, Sherry. I love that you picked a design era and went for it coming up with great projects. I think the clock did its own magic and looks fabulous. I can't believe you found that style clock in the first place. My mother had antiques with touches of beautiful oriental ceramics mixed in. She collected beautiful tea cups and we always had lots of tea. You did yourself proud as always. ❤❤😊😊
To prevent bleed-through, you may want to shellac the clock columns before painting. I would prefer the tea caddy without the decals…maybe a much smaller decal would be more pleasing to my eye,but mostly, I prefer it without any decals. You are a very creative and clever artisan!
What a fab video! Too many choices here. 10/10 on the floral arrangement, it looks stunning and is definitely the one I would keep, but the blue and white candlestick and leather book are also favourites. I think the paint reaction on the clock is interesting and would definitely keep it, but maybe tone it's orange-ness down a bit with some darker wax to make it more cohesive? I absolutely loved this themed set of projects. You could do a whole series, exploring styles of different eras for upcycling projects - as a June's Journey player, I'd love some Art Deco pieces or Art Nouveau - another sneaky way to see some more fabulous William Morris patterns 🙂
The inkstand is your keep, since it was a gift. My favorite is the clock. Love Regency romances since reading Georgette Heyer beginning in my teens. TFS
Oooh hard decision! The gold and cream vase with the floral arrangement is my fave but the blue and white ceramic candle stand with the bird is a close contender!
Wonderful projects!!! I loved the flower arrangement best. I think it was a very "happy accident" for the clock sides to end up non white. It looked so much better.
Thank you, Sally! I have seen stain bleed through before, but it never looked like this. It was a happy accident, and I decided to keep the clock for myself.

So often I am bored now from DIY's. I have NEVER been bored or unsurprised by what you come up with. Love your channel Sherry.
Oh, Cheryl! That is such a lovely compliment! ❤️ Thank you!
Me too!!!!
Same here!
Same!
I totally agree, sherry is so creative
I love the tea caddy but without the flowers! Just black and gold looks more elegant!😏
I like it both ways...maybe an in between look without the outline. But those handles though!😍
@@angelaspicer2753 I agree. The outline made it look more like a sticker and less like it was a part of the piece
I agree. Looked better without decals.
I thought the florals on the tea caddy were too large.
I LOVE the no-longer-white side bars on the mantle clock. It has a lot more character because of a happy accident.
Yay! The clock is actually the project that I am keeping for myself this week!
Me too! I agree that the clock has more character because of the happy accident.
Clock looks better with the “accident”. Would look even better bronze or antique gold.
I often wonder, does this woman lay awake all night thinking of these brilliant ideas or does it just come to her on the fly? Amazing as usual. I would definitely keep that blue and white candle stick holder with the bird! Love it!
She's said in a video she takes inspiration from Pinterest, books, etc
The bird candleholder was my favorite. I love blue and white and birds.
You’re so fun to watch and never boring!❤
Sherry, I find myself wishing you did more than one video a week! As an English woman, I can confirm that I love tea! Loved the pineapple bookend paperweight. Take care darling. Charlotte xx🇬🇧
Oh, I am always so extremely flattered when a real English person likes something I have copied from their culture! In America, we prefer coffee most of the time.
I absolutely love your show ... just wish you were closer to my house , to work your magic .... @CanterburyCottage
The clock bleed through was a happy accident!
Love the bird decoupage candle. Looks so pretty!
The clock!!!! It’s beautiful! I wouldn’t change a thing except in being in my house instead of yours!😃
😅
😂😂❤❤ I agree!!
I love the clock, but it was much more regal before painting.
This is not my style of decor. But it doesn’t matter because I think you nailed the era! Great transformations ❤
The last floral arrangement was my favorite!❤
Thank you, Gail! I loved the floral arrangement, too, but I kept the clock. I loved how it looked next to the floral picture in my foyer.
Love that you used an old bag to create the leather covered book ❤. Everything looks amazing.
Thank you so much! 😊
When I saw the book I thought " That has got to be the most imaginative thing in the video." but she just kept them coming. I honestly can't pick a favorite.
The leather book cover is the coolest project I've seen and if you'll excuse me while I rifle through my bag collection...
The clock is my favorite, but I like another viewer’s suggestion of making the columns look like marble either with paint or contac paper- I think your favorite is the flower arrangement. You truly are gifted and so inspiring!
My favorite is number 4 - the bird candle holder. It is stunning. I think your fave is the clock. 🕰️
Me too!
I think this may be my favorite video of yours! You never cease to amaze me with your talent and imagination.
I think the clock columns would look good making them look like marble. I love that series.
That clock looks like it has ivory. Looks perfect.
The white vase and flower arrangement is my favorite.
3 is my favorite and I bet yours. The footed vase with flowers. Gorgeous
My favorite was the clock k. The face is gorgeous and the accident is beautiful.
Loved the tea caddy minus the flowers
Same. Not sure why. Maybe if small flowers symmetrical?
I agree, the flowers were off.
Yes, but it reminded me of a Disney character with eyes, ears..funny!!😂
I look forward to your weekly videos so much! Your projects always amaze me!
I think no. 3 is my favorite and really like the bird with the blue and white.
These all turned out so fabulous! Hard to pick a favorite. I loved the candlestick creativity and the floral pedestal vase.
Sherry you are the Queen of Creativity!! I was so intrigued by what you came up with for this regency era in England! I loved all the projects you created. I knew you would have to keep the clock as they r a favorite collector's item. Long live Queen Sherry!
My favorite is the floral arrangement... gorgeous!
I love how the clock turned out. It took my breath away when you painted the sides white. I thought you had ruined it. I love the happy accident.
One of the reasons why I love your channel and content is that you don’t just paint over the majority of your projects and call it a DIY. You actually transform things. The clock is beautiful!! The happy accident really made it!
My favorite is the vase with flowers.
Sherry, when my daughter was in HS her friends used to have period parties. I remember when they did the Regency period and we shopped at thrift stores to find an appropriate dress. Happy memories. Thanks for sharing your talent. The flowers were my favorite this week.😊
Clock ,floral arrangement and the leather book in that order. I loved this makeover video. Thank you. You keep getting better every video 🥰
Yay for the accidental clock
My favorite is #3. I think your favorite is #3. I love Bridgerton. The decor is fabulous. Sherry you nailed it with each of your projects.😊
Loved them all, Sherry. Especially the Las white and gold piece where you put the gorgeous flower arrangement. TFS❤❤❤
I would repaint the discolored side bars of the clock. The cream colored bars gave a refreshing relief from the gold and dark colored background of the clock face.
I love the bird candle..as i get older, i really appreciate nature more , thank you for sharing your creativity!!🙏✌️❤️
I love the clock! I bet your favorite is the bird candlestick. All are beautiful.

The faux marble would be beautiful 😍
The ink quill would look great in the pineapple paperweight book end
Definitely the pineapple bookmark and the floral arrangement you made for the flower pot☺️
Candle stick bird is my favorite favorite
They were all so pretty. But my favorite is the vase you made with the flower arrangement.
Hi Sherry, The clock is my favorite. If the bird isnt yours then the clock is, for sure. Everything turned out beautiful!
The clock and vase with the beautiful flower arrangement are my favorite ones but all are, as usual, strictly Sherry!!!😂 I get so excited when I wake up on Tuesday morning and remember "Canterbury Cottage!" Thanks for another wonderful video Sherry!!😊
It’s hard to pick a favorite, but I especially love 2 and 4!

Soooo many good ideas in the video! And yes, I knew the clock would be your favorite. Second guess would have been the bird candlestick which I think is my favorite.
Loved all of the projects. The yellowing of the mantle clock turned out to be a happy accident!
My favorite is number 4, and i think that yours is number 9.
The flower vase is my favorite and I think it is also your favorite.
Loved the blue and white bird candle stand. The book with strap and I would leave the clock as is. Love your ideas❤
Before I even start watching I just have to tell you that i LOVE that thumbnail!! Adorable
Oh Sherri , I would definitely leave the clock. It looks old and worn and natural. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Oh my gosh that candle stick...🐦🐦🐦 I love it
Oh my gosh the clock is PERFECT! You know you're an expert DIYer when your paints antique themselves 😂Love it, absolutely gorgeous!!
I'm writing this before I check the description box to see your favorite... I believe you and I both think the clock is the one that you should keep - it is the one I would keep!.. edit: YES!!!
I think my favorite is also your favorite...#3. Though I love them all, I would keep #3.
The mantle clock looks so awesome!!! I loved the flower arrangement! Your favorite would be the one with the bird!!!! Love you💖!
@@CanterburyCottageI love number 3, I would have to keep it. ❤❤❤😊😊
@@CanterburyCottage I was thinking the clock would be my choice, if I could only choose one. I really enjoyed this video!
Leave the clock as it, it’s wonderful.
❤ 1 2 and 3. 3 is my most favorite. I think 3 is your favorite.
Leave the clock the way it turn out it’s amazingly beautiful
I agree. Looks so much better than the plain white.❤😊
I can see you working on movie sets. Designing sets and decor. ❤❤❤❤ Making all of the decor for the show or movie. Imagine all the wonderful things you could create. ❤
Sherry, I see why you only film once a week. The amount of items you create weekly would be a 24/7 effort. Thank you for all of your pretty creations.
I can’t even choose only one !!!! These are simply beautiful!
Love the happy accent of the chalk paint on the clock!!
I love 3,4,and 7. Lots of blue and white.
I think you kept #4, the bird candle stand. I think all the projects were very creative and true to the era.
I'm not picky, I love them all. You may send them all to me and I will paint my walls dark blue. Your designs are ALL in my dream taste.

The floral vase is just stunning. Love it.
Def leave the clock handles as they are! Adds so much charm to it. Didn’t really care for the off white.
#3 the vase is my favorite. The clock looks good with the rusty look but I don’t think the Regency era would approve. Crisp and clean would be the order of the day.

I think you'll keep the mantle clock
