I'm not sure why I can't comment today, but everything you did here is so YOU! Although it is not me (I love cherry wood), the prints at the back and thrifted items surely make you happy when you look at them. I am considering a paper backdrop for my china cabinet and watching you decorate sparks new ideas for my own home.

I'm usually of the mind that good wood should be shown and not hidden behind paint, but sometimes painting a piece of furniture really shows off the beautiful shape of it. That beautiful wood is still underneath if you ever decide to go back to staining it. I love this piece and how you've finished and dressed it! I too have been drawn to the greens this year, normally I love me some dark orange! When people ask me what my favourite colour is, I usually respond with "Autumn!" lol ~Chris

That color green on the cabinet is so rich looking, I love it. When I saw that wallpaper, I thought that would have been better than the prints. I’m just not feeling it. And the knobs were perfect, great proportion with two sizes. Beautiful cabinet, love the old stuff.

Thanks so much! I did love that wallpaper, but I just wanted to try something different that people might not have thought of doing.

I know you've done a lot of hard work on this cabinet but I don't like the courier and Ives printings in the back of it I do like courier and Ives prints but not in the back of this cabinet it looks too busy in your cabinet.... The Green collar you put on it is pretty..... Just my opinion only I think it would have looked lovelier if you would have painted it and just left the back part like it was and then put your things in it... But that's just my opinion.... I have watched a lot of your videos though and I really enjoy them and I most generally enjoy everything you create...

Thank you, GG! I appreciate your honest opinion, and I totally understand how the prints might be too busy for some people.

Ooh, love it. Wonderful having the built in lights. I think the glue green vase is one of my fave pieces of yours. Stunning, and what a great thrift store. I'm headed to a local town tomorrow to see what charity shops are offering there!

I love, love your display cabinet and I love the green paint. My favorite Courier & Ives prints I saw were the sheep. I just adore that print.

Wow, thank you, Liz! I’m running out of rooms to redo, so I think you should move in next door-the house is for sale and really needs updating! We can make it over together.

Sherry, it’s stunning! Though I’m not one to follow color trends, I’m so happy to see green making a comeback. It’s such a beautiful color of nature and was a great choice for the curio cabinet! 😊

It's a cabinet that looks almost exactly like my dining room cabinet. We did buy it in the 90s second gand. You are spot on for the age of the piece. I have been wanting to do something with mine, too, but was scared away from the mirrors on the back and the glass shelves. It looks fabulous painted. Thanks for the inspiration.
