In Neverwhere, London Under is more of a metaphorical name, I'm not certain that'll fit hard mode, or even normal (the Deep would though). Excited to learn Nix has a short story collection! So many of both of your books at the beginning are ones I hold in high regard that I'm going to follow you guys on storygraph (another storygraph exclusive user here; there are dozens of us) since there seems to be taste overlap. Subbing to see how you find Mistwraith and Perdido Street too, those are on my bingo card as well. Congrats on avoiding the vehicular chimney damage!

Yes, Terry Prachett, he dead but they are still publishing some collections of his short stories, there was a collection titled "the time travelling caveman" published in 2020, which is the 4th in the series of collections of children's circle stories. Looks like the first one was published just before he died, which indicates that the series was in the works at that point, but was finished after he died.
Also "A stroke of the pen" was published in 2023

I chose Encyclopedia of fairies for a samll town and very much enjoyed it.

If you wanted a bard book that is significantly shorter - A River Enchanted by Rebecca Ross fits hard mode. The protagonist is called a bard in the book description. It does have romance as a focus though so maybe not what you’re into lol

I saw this book mentioned in other’s picks for the bingo card. I might just read that one, that way I’m not dependent on such a long book. Though reading such a classic does interest me in the long run. I’ve never read any Tad Williams or Jenny Wurt or similar authors. They just seem so daunting. Thank you for the suggestion! -Ange
