We have a Case IH 5250 with only 5500 original hours. During the winter it won't move in forward or reverse. During the summer the tractor works perfect. It has been doing this for 2 winters now, so we have only been able to use it as a summer time tractor.

We have a lot of old tractors too. They are payed for and get the jobs done.

Exactly. All comes down to dealer service and how much you can fix yourself in the end.
