Your tying work is beautiful. These flies are literal art. I am very appreciative of fly tyers and their passion to help others out. To enjoy the very things they enjoy.
Glad you enjoy the pattern! The fish do too! So you can use Laser Hair as an alternative to Laser Dub... the material is longer and you'd be able to create a larger silhouette! Good luck!
@@TroutTornado I agree. Maybe it's because I once learned about the study of time use in production, that I nerd about "everything" wasting time. Back when I fished on average 1.5 times a day, I rigged my rod while wlking the half mile from the train to the river, so when I arrived, I'd only have to check the water and chose the fly. When finnished I packed things down while wlking to the train at the very last minute, so when my alarm went, I knew, I was suposed to be right at "the little red shed", so if the train was on time, I would walk right in having waited zero seconds.. :D

Thanks EJ!
The pattern is amazing! Was wondering if it is possible to tie a little bigger? 4-5" length instead of 2", would you recommend different materials?

Yes! DM me on Instagram!
Just saying - there's no good reason to tie the thread in so long, that you have to cut the extra bit off. Just tie it shorter.
Just saying - after 30+ years of fly tying old habits are hard to break! :)
