For most of 57 years, I wore my 1964 stainless Omega Seamaster, purchased in Zurich when I was a teenager. The Tudor1926 is my new daily wearer. It's the 36mm, stainless, black dial version. The bracelet is really good for the price point. It passes as both a sport watch and dress watch. Its solid case is waterproof to a depth that I never, ever hope to see (100m, 330ft). It's kind of a chameleon watch that blends in with whatever setting it finds itself. Given the date of manufacture, nobody seems to know whether the movement is a Tudor-modified ETA or Selita, not that it makes an enormous difference. Oh, for the same price as the Tudor, Omega totally and completely restored my old Seamaster, bless them. It's a time machine. Like the 1926, my old Seamaster blends with the setting it finds itself.
The watch I would want most - Vacheron Constantine 57 The watch I might actually one day own - JLC Polaris The watch I am most likely to buy - Tudor 1926
i just recently got into watches and have been binge watching a lot of content creaters and honestly this channel is my favorite, fast snappy humor, educational without being boring, keep up the great work good sir!
My Citizen retrozilla titanium, Eco diver is an absolute joy to work with. I work around industrial machinery and water, so it's a perfect tool watch and great value at 200-USD (retail 550, lol) shipped. Swap the "meh" band and you're more than good to go in any context that would destroy most luxury watches.
@@stupidocanerosaWould also argue Orient slaps Citizen as well (if we want to consider them to be Seiko as well, given they’re both a part of the Seiko group)
Unless it's the Sailhawk series, then that has almost no dial (it does, but dial is total transparent with mark of paint) and what you see as black dial is whole solar cell piece
"...if you are so rich you can't remember where you parked your yacht..." wow - Andrew the amount of pure information peppered with the absolute best zingers is priceless. You get better and better - and that is really saying something!!
About the Zenith Defy 300 meters water resistance ... "That's a meter for every single week you'd have to wait for the AP". 😂 Once again, what a great punchline!
The closest I have to a daily beater is the Grand Seiko Shunbun (which I bought back when it was a "limited production" US exclusive). It's my most worn watch, and I've worn it to hell. Grand Seiko hits the sweet spot between sporty and dressy. Spring Drive is, aside from it's other virtues and general coolness, more robust than any watch with a standard mechanical escapement. And it has a dial I could look at for days. I'd say, pick whichever Grand Seiko Heritage Collection Spring Drive is to your liking and done. And for most of them, you get great prices on the secondary market.
Got the Bronze Boderry Voyager and it has been aging well. Sale was epic so picked up Bronze/Red dail Sea turtle. Excellent Citizen eco drives. Great video
Citizen has been kicking things up, with some amazing watches with higher grade options at prices that should make you stop and say "I want that!" The dials are definitely punching up! Boderry - a surprise, not something I would have expected, and yet want just because it's got some fun going in. Sinn - yes! I don't have one yet, but want!!!! Zenith - I am still in "why would anyone buy Zenith?"
Thanks. Great selection of watches with an entertaining delivery. I especially like the Tudor 1926. Tasteful timepieces without too many unnecessary complications and barely a glimpse of ostentatious gold.
Andrew I have discovered a watch brand that gives you a watch that is COSC chronometer certified, made in switzerland, with stunning dials and excellent finishings and build quality for less that 1000 pounds. It's H992, i hope you'll read the comment and give them a spot in a future video, they truly deserve it.
Hello, While we wait for Andrew to recover from last week's comedy hang over, I'll graciously share my opinion of the watches with you. Let me jump on their website. Hmmm. Yes. Yes. OK. Well, in my my opinion as a professional TH-cam watch video viewer...are you sitting down?...YiIKES! It looks like they copied the Citizen Super Titanium Without A Name mentioned by Andrew in the above video. Why would anybody spend more money on a less accurate wristwatch?!? Well, that was easy. You're welcome. :-) Actually the watches look pretty good. Having every watch on an integrated strap/bracelet is kind of limiting. Hopefully the brand can gain enough traction, and income, during this integrated bracelet fad them to expand their product range.
@@wargamingrefugee9065 i disagree, you spend more money for a fully swiss brand that uses a better movement, has incredible looking dials and have a COSC chronometer certification. The watch is finished better and the bracelet looks and feels extremely more premium than the one you get on the citizen. I have had both and i think that H992 might provide more watch for the price than a Christopher Ward The Twleve.
I picked up the Boderry on the titanium strap (black dial, non faux aged lume) at the beginning of the year for just £111 it's now £119 on Amazon UK. Hasn't left my wrist since. For the price it's very nice :) The lume isn't the best but I still enjoy it very much.
AMZWATCH is one of my favorite watch manufacturers they do offer beautifull dials, good workmanship & moovements. That smooth sweeping second hand is truly mesmerizing!

Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
I've had a Mido All-Dial chronometer for years and wear it for everything. Great watch, underrated brand, Swiss made, ETA movement, sapphire crystal, 100m water resistance, etc. Just nice enough so that people who know something about watches (which is basically nobody) will ask about it, but not flashy enough for anyone to actually notice. The other watch I wear regularly (because it's quartz and always on time) but a bit more flashy is a Traser. If you need to see time at night, well, it's great.
