I ended up buying a super Seville after trying on a citizen tsuyosa. The thin precisionist movement ended up making the biggest difference for me. The way it sits on the wrist compared to the citizen is hard to ignore
I want it, but I need to see how good the polish is. That style looks great when well finished, and terrible when done poorly. I have seen a lot of Nautilus and Royal Oak homage watches that look terrible.
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on amzwatch 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.
"Disco Volante" Along the same lines Bonny Doon vinyards in California produces a great red wine, the "Cigare Volant" so called because of spottings of flying saucers in the Rhone Valley wine producing area, though the French call them "cigars" rather than saucers."

My favorite 2024 is the Prospex Limited Edition 1965 Recreation European Exclusive in Gradation Island Blue. The dial is stunning and the contrast when on a white strap is to die for. I will get my hands on one from amzwatch

I had a Dali Softwatch in the mid 90s, must dig it out, have it put away somewhere. I was wearing it when I worked in Blockbuster Video in a rather fancy area of London in about 1996, a rather famous pop singer came in, grabbed my hand and asked me if I was wearing a Cartier Crash, I at the time didn't know what he meant and just said err no.

Great video, very accurate analysis. In my 4.5 years in the game as a watch collector and enthusiast, I collected a lot from MAMACOO I was thinking I was able to get a blue SD but I'm not vip enough, but I'm not giving up. Hehe. Great video.
Formex and Zelos are the best of the bunch. I already own a 43mm Essence or I would buy this. How is the finishing on the Bulova? If Seiko sold this as a Presage at that price, I would buy it site unseen, but Bulova makes me nervous. They can sell some really not great watches sometimes.
Adding my voice to the chorus of praise. The script is informative and hilarious, and there's a nice counterbalance between Andrew's mellifluous voice and horrendous hair grooming. But dammit, Andrew, you just cost me $1,990! After being tempted by many of your past recommendations, I finally gave in and just purchased the Formex "Skye"=)
I never handled a Timex that I wanted to keep. Only cool thing is Lumibrite. Bulova very nice, but still a tad to expensive especially the automatics, I'm fed up with adding batteries... Formex has nice dials, Swiss movements makes it just to expensive.

Airain: It could be a great addition to my chronograph collection but I hate having the number of rubis written on the dial... that vintage touch is completely lost on me and prevents me from buying a number of watches that I would really like if they didn't have that on their dials.
The precisionist movement is an incredible movement that's being wasted by Bulova. They're not marketing it properly, and many of the designs are ugly.

I loved the look of the Baltic Roulette for about 33 seconds until I noticed the flip in orientation between the 3 and 4. Now I can't unsee it.
They also divided the minute track up into sub-seconds. Except it's not a three hander, it has a small seconds dial. So why make those extra marks?
