That's actually a really smart way to get guaranteed hot streak procs, then guaranteed pyro crits to combust off. Nice vid, will surely be trying this on my mage! :D

You can trinket on kidneys as well. But I prefer to do it on full blinds as the rogue usually blinds if I trink the kidney shot. Don't know why you think there is a set of rules to follow when using a trink.

The thing is 1v1 as fire is completely different than an arena setting where your partners damage will probably break your cone before you can do a scorch fire blast shatter. It was an okay tutorial but you could of went through the stats they need for fire even though it is pretty obvious giving the idea of which stats are best for fire would make it a more complete tutorial.

Fire is amazing. But depends on the situation, Frost can be very useful when CC is needed and is pretty good in 2s. Frost Mage/Feral is a decent comp
