    I think those sound pretty good, actually took some of the background reverb sounds but at the expenses of some high frequencies

      for the price they are pretty decent and I will definitely use them on my trip to Droidcon UK

    Hi TK ! How have you been? I am planning to get a wireless karaoke microphone for my wife for xmas since she's a singer but the quality of the microphones i came across seems a bit MEEEH. The quality of the one above in this video looks amazing! We got a samsung smart 4k tv, do you think it will be compatible ?

    • @TKBay
      @TKBay  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      these sound good and hav a good range, not sure how your Karaoke system is but it should just plug in to the audio imput to any sound system and you two will be singing together in no time

    Check the rules where you live. In the US, the frequencies shown in this video are illegal for this type of equipment. They are allocated for mobile phone use. That's probably why they are so cheap.

    • @TKBay
      @TKBay  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh Wow , I would not have thought about that. I will check

    • @boblafleur8582

      In reality, if you use the system you're probably not going to get caught, but you would be stepping on some of the cell phone data frequencies. SO, if you were to use this for interviews at a conference, some people could potentially have cell phone data access issues. The 700-800 Mhz (approx) was re-allocated a number of years ago, and starting soon frequencies above 608 Mhz will also be re-allocated (the FCC auctioned those off earlier this year, and the auction winners have a few years to build-out their new systems, and once that happens, 608+ Mhz will not longer be legal to use). The rules around wireless microphone usage are complicated, and large venues (such as Broadway plays, sports venues, etc) have the ability to get some licensed frequencies, but for us small-folk, we're left to complete with the more and more crowded unused TV spectrum. There are also some systems that work in the license free areas that WiFi uses (900 Mhz, 2.4 Ghz, 5 Ghz) but I would be afraid to use those, especially in a crowded RF environment like a conference where there is a lot of wireless activity going on. I know, this is probably way more than you ever wanted to know! Anyway, thanks for the review - for the money, it doesn't look like a bad system. I just wanted to point out that buyers should be aware of the FCC regulations and what frequencies they are allowed to use for this sort of equipment in the country they live in.

      +Bob Lafleur well the listing in confusing they say they operate in the 200mhz Range but clearly it's in the 700. Not sure if the UK uses the 700mhz band or not. I contacted them to see what's up. Also Amazon does list the fcc ruling on the rules governing wireless microphones. I will see what happens

    Hi Tk, great vid, quick question.
    Does my receiver (the box with the antenna on it) have to be plugged into a plug socket? Could I, in theory, take these mics onto the street and do a 'street interview' format where I'm constantly moving and changing positions? Thank you

    • @puncnewsman6667
      @puncnewsman6667 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Essentially I want to take a dslr and connect a wireless mic to it and be able to walk around. I've found myself frustrated recently as I have a perfectly good phone to record audio from but the professional reporters mic will make all the difference.

    • @TKBay
      @TKBay  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      so the input to a DSLR will have to much static on it, you need to have something in between the mic system and the dslar to regulate the sound like a h2n.

    How do I connect this to the receiver and tv. So I can use TH-cam and sing along the lyrics

    • @TKBay
      @TKBay  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Use the line in on your receiver. But playing this and TH-cam will depend on your TV and audio mixing on the receiver.

      Get a converter for the output cable to a regular 3 1/2 mm jack and plug it into an input.

    Hi TK . Can you teach me how to connect this mic with sound bar and TV ? please

    • @TKBay
      @TKBay  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      unless your sound bar accepts external audio via 3.5 mm jack it not possible to do so, if you have a receiver then just connect it to the aux in line

    • @fionafang3693
