    I found this set for 8 bucks at a local bin return store. Thinking of keeping it! Edit: there is a reason you are the top video for this review. You're literally the only person that went over every single feature of this setup. Been trying to get audacity to pick up the sound from them when connected to my pc.

    Wow! What an awesome and thorough review. You walked through the setup, sang with the mic, and summed up your opinion of the product. Just wanted to thank you for your content. I needed to get karaoke going for a party this weekend so your review really saved me from picking a low quality product off Amazon. Thanks again! Look forward to more content in the future!

    Hi, I got this mic. The wireless mic has deep received you need a mixer to twick the hi, mid's and low's, only if you're not satisfied.. Also has a preset echo delay I set it off cuz I don't like it.. I use a Bluetooth karaoke built-in speaker. I use the echo from there. Thanks for the review ✌️👍🙂

    Hi, thank you for the review. So helpful. I have a few questions that I hope you may be able to help with! I would like to purchase microphones for mostly karaoke at home, my priorities are, sound quality (good enough to satisfying karaoke experience), the sound of the music and the singing voice should come out from the same speaker, the sound should be loud enough to have a great karaoke session (I know some mics are not loud enough even at full volume), ideally should pick up sound nicely, for e.g. don't have to hold the mic so close to your mouth for the sound to be picked up.
    - Is this the best and reasonably priced mic you would recommend? If not, what is the best plus reasonably priced microphone + receiver for a satisfying Karaoke experience? ☺ And would you be able to provide brief reasoning for the recommendations?
    - I have read some Amazon reviews on this Fifine mics, most were good but there are some terrible ones: Buttons and interface breaking into shambles rendering it useless, some stopped working altogether, seemed like mainly after 2 months of normal use, saw a review that said they had to put the mic close to their mouth for the sound to be picked up and loud enough. But it does not seem like that in your review?
    - Where did you get yours? Straight from the company? Do Amazon sell authentic Fifine mic sets?
    This is the link to the Fifine Amazon product I had found, the one you have link above is sadly not available it seems :( www.amazon.com.au/Channel-Wireless-Handheld-Microphone-K036/dp/B01N6448Q4/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
    Thank you so much!! I hope its not too much to ask all these questions! 🙏

    was just brainstorming....I have this wireless mic set, absolutely never use it. I dont do much singing but I play guitar and bass, past 3 or 4 years I've really really really wanted to start doing guitar/bass guitar covers(mainly rock and metal) and start adding videos to my account(or an alt specifically for the task). I need advice on how to do the recording process, both the video and audio, what DAW(free preferablly) to use etc etc. For recording guitar it's much easier cause my Amplifi 75 amp has a built in audio interface and connects right to my PC via usb. No problem recording guitar, but not sure how to go about recording my bass. I have also purchased a Behringer USB audio interface...so how do I need to do this??? Do I connect my bass to my Marshall bass amp and then line-out from the amp >>into interface>>then into PC? I also have my Source Audio Aftershock bass distortion/effects pedal(it's amazing btw) I'd like to use in the mix. Anyways getting off topic but instead of simply connecting the instrument/amp into the interface, I have wondered how good it would sound to mic up my bass amp?? Thinking about playing my bass thru my pedal and amp as usual but to maybe run my Fifine receiver into Behringer interface and set up these two wireless mics(or at least one) around my amp to record sound that way. I just wonder what would sound best for guitar/bass covers? I also have a Shure XLR mic as well. Anyhow aside from the recording part...what kinda of software should I use to edit/sync up the audio from the cam & the audio interface?

      Hi, I know the question is one month ago, you might buy the system and figured by yourself or decided not go for the purchase. But to your question, you can simply hook up through the RCA input of Pioneer receiver and choose the correct mode. But one issue you may want to pay attention to is that those kind of AV receiver doesn't have mic gain boost, without a micromixer, the volume could be low.

    Is the audio output from the 1/4" balanced or unbalanced, and stereo or mono output.
    It says L+R so should be stereo. then why are they providing 1/4" TS cables then along with the product which handles only mono signal? Should not it be 1/4" TRS for handling balanced/ stereo output. So should i use TS which came along or buy a separate TRS cable.

      So I think your best bet for a desk stand would be to probably get a shock mount that kind of holds the mic like a clamp. I just don't know an arm stand for sale, by itself, that also comes with the shock mount. th-cam.com/video/BsjilYyXfIc/w-d-xo.html

      Hi there, it should be fine for that. I use this mic system for when I do Karaoke gigs for parties and it works totally fine. As far as the frequency goes, are you having a bunch of wireless microphones going at the same time? For my Karaoke gigs I usually have this mic system (which has 2 mics) and then one additional wireless mic (the Fifine K025) and I've never had any frequency issues. Just make sure you have good quality batteries and extra batteries on hand for your event and switch them out as needed.

    I am trying to hook this up to my smart TV and sound bar. I have both optical or HDMI(ARC) inputs from my TV to sound bar. I tried hooking up the L,R audio ports from the receiver to my tv and got no mic sound. I then hooked up the 1/8" jack from the receiver to my speaker, but i'd only get mic sound if I switched the input on my TV to AUX. But that way I'm not getting any music sound. Help!

    • @FIFINE
      @FIFINE 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      First of all, TV allows only one input source. When you input K036 to TV, there are two source choices: one is K036 mic audio, the other is TV audio (music). You need to mix the mic sound and TV audio in K036 receiver instead of TV.
      So the setup will become like this: (check if your TV has RCA or AUX out, otherwise a Optical to RCA adapter is needed) TV music is delivered to K036 receiver through Optical to RCA adapter, then the mixed audio is output to soundbar via the 3.5mm jack.

    • @TobiasHolenstein
      @TobiasHolenstein  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you! Someone in the comments below had a similar question to yours and Fifine responded to them. I'm going to paste what Fifine told them to do: "TV output to K036 3.5mm in, if TV doesn't have RCA or headphone out, but only optical out, then a digital to analog converter is needed. Next K036 3.5mm output jack to Soundbar line-in. At last, choose the line-in mode, then you're good to go."

    • @FIFINE
      @FIFINE 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Novelyn, Tobias should have fixed your problem. The connection to soundbar is simple, K036 out to soundbar AUX/Line in jack with included 3.5mm audio cable. If there's only optical and HDMI input on soundbar, an analog to digital convertor is required. It just gets tricky when you have to connect with a TV. But basically it will go as Tobias has pointed.

    Bought this set, set it up and plugged into my laptop's combo 3.5mm TRRS female port. When I plug in the jack, I can choose: Line in, Mic in, Headphone, Speakers or Headset. When I choose *Mic in*, the volumes are acceptable at +10 dB "Microphone boost" & 40 on the mic volume. When I choose *Headset*, even at +20 dB boost & volume (?) set to 80, the recorded sound is lower. Overall, the sound is boomier/ less distinct than that recorded through a Labtec LVA 7330 boom mic or a OneOdio A71 boom mic. What's the issue here?

    • @FIFINE
      @FIFINE 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the Mic in works fine, then just use this mode, why there's a need for the headset. After all, it's the mic signal output from the K036. And if you do want to figure it out, and your computer allows you to chooose between different modes, then you can use TRS and TRRS cable to test out. But the best solution to connect it with computer is through an audio interface, not output into computer directly.

    • @hsjawanda

    • @FIFINE

      If we're honest, it would have some handhelding noise when you move quite a lot. You can plug Bluetooth transmitter into the 3.5mm IN jack of K036. But alternatively, you can simply use the included cable to connect your Bluetooth speaker with K036. And speaker power has better to be over 25 watt, otherwise, the sound may be low.

      You mean audio input goes from the mic through laptop to your subwoofer? I think it would be better to plug the mic right straight into a PA or any speaker with 1/4" mic jack. Becuase computer will process the mic audio and the result is delay.

      For Karaoke, you will also need background music. If you use phone to provide music, it's easy to connect it to the K036 in jack. But when you use TV, you need to check what kind of output TV has, RCA OUT or Optical OUT. For the former one, it's just plug and play. As for the latter one, you still need an optical to RCA converter. It will be better if you can provide the speaker model number.

      Yeah, I'm not really sure why they are saying that. I think as long as you have a good quality audio interface it should work fine. I know that some of the cheaper soundcards out there can cause some quality issues.

      Hi, it sounds like someone below (Jay Wilson) had the same problem. I am copying and pasting what Fifine told them to do:
      "First of all, TV allows only one input source. When you input K036 to TV, there are two source choices: one is K036 mic audio, the other is TV audio (music). You need to mix the mic sound and TV audio in K036 receiver instead of TV.
      So the setup will become like this: (check if your TV has RCA or AUX out, otherwise a Optical to RCA adapter is needed) TV music is delivered to K036 receiver through Optical to RCA adapter, then the mixed audio is output to soundbar via the 3.5mm jack."

    Can u put an output from led tv to external speaker through that mic receiver ? So u can karaoke, ure song from tv and sound from mic both out from speaker ?

    • @FIFINE
      @FIFINE 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeap. Both TV and mic sound will come out from speaker. But you need to pay a bit more attention to the output jack on TV and input jack on speaker.
      As for the current smart TV, there should be only two type of dedicated audio jack left, one is RCA (composite) jack, the other is optical jack. For the former jack, just the provided cable of K036 is enough for connection. For the later situation, you need an extra RCA to 3.5mm cable and most importantly, an optical to RCA convertor. The same goes for the optical, RCA or AUX jack of TV external speaker.

But if a wireless microphone is not necessary, we would recommend a wire microphone. Because you would get more noise from smartphone recording than recording on a PC already. @@FIFINE I know I'm not the person you were replying to, but I tried this mic system and I think I have an idea of what kind of "delay" they're talking about.
      I used the mic with one of my bluetooth speakers and I noticed a delay between me talking and me hearing what I just said again through the speaker. But then I plugged headphones directly into the audio input on the receiver and I didn't notice that delay at all. I've got a feeling that the reason for the delay was because many bluetooth speakers use digital signal processing of some kind to "enhance" the sound. I think what is happening is this:
      first, you talk or sing into the microphone, which is an analogue signal. That signal then gets converted to digital so that it can be transmitted wirelessly. That signal then gets converted to analogue by the speaker, but then the speaker puts that analog signal through a analog to digital converter, then it gets processed and then converted to analog again so it can drive the speaker drivers. The headphones didn't use any DSP; they're completely analogue. Is my observation correct?
      I think this same sort of digital signal processing can also happen when you connect the mic and receiver directly to a computer. It makes sence if you think about it.

    • @FIFINE
      @FIFINE 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@justinnaramor6050Hi Justin, thanks for sharing your insight. Yes, we know what you're talking about and that's what we want to share with the customers who run into the problem of delay or echo. But it won't work if we just tell them the theory behind this, they would just want a solution. So our method for Q&A is to get to know their connection in the first place and then tell them the more suitable way for connection.
      In colombowest's question, we're not sure if he's talking about a TV and AVR connection or the simple PA speakers' hookup. One requires analog to digital conversion while the other is not needed. Then the reason for the delay is quite different.

    • @TobiasHolenstein
      @TobiasHolenstein  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi there, using TH-cam through the PS4 should work fine. It sounds like they just need a way to get audio from the ps4 and this mic system. If they are just using the built in speakers on the tv, maybe the easiest way to do it would be to just get a small amp or speaker for the K036 mic system. Then the audio from the mics would be coming out of their own speaker and the karaoke songs on youtube will be coming from the TV speakers. If they have a soundbar or something playing the audio from the tv, Fifine commented down below how to get the audio from the TV and the K036 to come through the soundbar. I'll paste their instructions here below:
      "First of all, TV allows only one input source. When you input K036 to TV, there are two source choices: one is K036 mic audio, the other is TV audio (music). You need to mix the mic sound and TV audio in K036 receiver instead of TV.

If you want a wireless mic system, one like this would be perfect. Then you could have a laptop playing the karaoke songs and run the music through the mixer or the K036 and you're all set!

      I guess you could use this for podcasting, although, there may be some better options for podcasting, such as these condenser mic setups that are more meant for podcasting th-cam.com/video/BsjilYyXfIc/w-d-xo.html

      Hi Quinn, sorry for catching sight of your comment late. And as we replid in one of the comment about using this in a band performance, we would recommend our latest K040: bit.ly/fifinemicrophone-k040 It has two separate channel XLR outputs for more personalized adjustment to suit two people's need (but if it's not a group podcast, then there's really no need to buy a dual system )The sound quality of the microphone itself is also improved. Because of the better-toned circuit, it will have less static and better low end sound.
      It wireless feature is not necessary, it's just better to have a wired mic. You can take a look at our latest and the best USB mic K678: amzn.to/3btDvfR

    Can you connect your phone and take the audio from the microphone?

    • @TobiasHolenstein
      @TobiasHolenstein  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Manuel, I'm actually not sure. I haven't tried this personally, but I suppose if you had an adapter for your phone you could plug it in. I'm just not 100% sure how it would sound. I had it plugged in through my audio interface going into my computer and it sounded fine

    • @FIFINE
      @FIFINE 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Manuel, sorry for catching sight of your comment late. It would be quite tricky to do so.
      First off, if your phone doesn't have headphone jack, a type C to headphone jack adapter is needed.
      Next, you need to buy a TRRS cable, which isn't included in the system package.
      At last, you still need external wall outlet to supply 12V power for the system.
      And besides the setup, you cant have the mic sound coming into phone while output it through internal speaker of the phone at the same time.

    • @FIFINE
      @FIFINE 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. If you want to use the k036 on the iPhone XS, the package involves a 1/8'' to 1/8'' cable in the first place. Then you need the Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter. And in this hookup, you can only use the mic for recording not for doing karaoke. Because with the adapter plugged into smartphone, you will hear no sound coming out of your phone. Besides, you need a 12V wall outlet to power the receiver.

    • @FIFINE

      Your wireless speaker should also have AUX jack, then you can wire it up with K036. And the power of speaker is better to be over 15W, otherwise the mic sound coming out will be low.

    • @FIFINE
      @FIFINE 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@robertoclemente2283 The recommended connection is TV→K036→Speaker. You need to check what kind of output TV has, RCA OUT or Optical OUT. For the former one, you can take TV sound from it to 3.5mm IN jack of K036. As for the latter one, you still need an optical to RCA converter, to change optical signal to RCA signal first.
      As for the soundbar, it always needs the 3.5mm male to 6.35mm male Audio Cable. ( The 6.35mm pin plug into the K036, the 3.5mm pin plug into the soundbar)
