the pen can go a straight line with the ruler but the shading part of the pen is done by tilting. You should test the ruler straight line with the top of the pen also resting on a ledge or something so that the shader doesn't come in to play as you draw your line. Also, pressure changes the thickness of the line so can seem to not be straight as varying levels of pressure is applied when writing with the pen at an angle I guessing.
@@OrganisedByJoe meh, it was a real good review for me. After messing with it myself, it seems I can free hand a straight line but running a pen along a straight edge of any kind, paper or ruler, the pen stroke records it wobbly like that. I'm starting to think it's about the proximity of something near the pen point as maybe why it does that.
I came to find out about changing the nib (which is far too easy!) and ended up finding out that you can make bloody straight lines by holding the end point. Makes me wonder what else I've been missing out on!
Another good video. How do you find the blackness of the black ink? I understand that it's not black e-ink but created with a CMY colour mix. Is it black or an off black if that makes sense.
I don't have an Apple Pencil unfortunately. The nib actually feels a lot more accurate to me, check out the video I just uploaded for a more in depth review of the pen and the nib :)
Hi ! Oh no, so sad about the wobbliness... I know this is a different pen technology, but could the demagnetization which worked with the rM 2 be applied ? See : th-cam.com/video/4Tvu6tVzTA4/w-d-xo.html

@@COTU9 I have also tested with a ruler ensure the pen is not tilted and still get some wobble.

0:37 that's probably because it's an active stylus and needs a battery
Same goes for the standard marker, that's also active. Guess it's the eraser. Wouldn't mind it being a bit thicker and heavier though
I found if you hold the pen perpendicular to the screen when using the ruler it does not make a wobbly line
Thanks, I will try that

@@MartynDews Hi Martyn, there is a hint of dark blue to the black but it is barely noticeable.
@@OrganisedByJoe That's good to know. Thanks.
Can you use the Marker Plus from the Remarkable 2 on Paper Pro?😕
@@Disneyyy92 You can’t, check out my full marker plus pen review on my channel!
Do you have an Apple Pencil to test the feeling? Also do you think that the nib being bigger, makes you write in a less precise manner?
