Great job! These units are now working on the Eastern Idaho R.R. I caught them on the Ashton local a couple years ago operating nose to nose. Couldn't figure that one out. If you ever want to check out the branch lines in Eastern Idaho, let me know and I'll show some of my favorite spots. There's a lot of action out there!
Cool thanks! One thing I really want to do out that way is chase the UP train to Silver Bow. That is pretty high on my list actually so that could all be incorporated together.
@@TheRailfanDanI'm not sure how often the potash is flowing south of Silver Bow these days. I've always had bad luck on that line. But those potato branches are awesome! The EIRR is easy to work with. They like rail fans. Just give me a heads up because I live in AZ:)
I live in Walla Walla Wa and used to drive log and chip truck to Lewiston daily. I love this rail road, and am blessed to have it in the "backyard" thanks for this video of familiar sights. I know im kinda yet i tried to count the cars--i always do--and im estimating 88. also the 1st scenes are the train inbound to Lewiston from the West, the runs along the river at speed are West bound as the RR is on the North side of the Snake River, and you can see the prevailing West winds blowing the wind swells on the river.
Thanks again for your beautiful work. I did this branch around 2003 or 4. Beautifull run with nice rail. There is a scheduled run into September, if this virus lets us. The Joseph Branch in NE Oregon is a few days later. I will do that one if possible. Maybe the Lewiston run if funds permit. Carl
Beautiful work as always Dan! Maybe a stop extra on the exposure ? Not a criticism at all , it does look like a dull day! Also a good job on the music choice...this is almost as hard as shooting the video and is often overlooked , so nice work there too! Always a pleasure to watch your work and to see the amazing scenery the US has to offer...I need to get back there soon. Cheers Gregg.
Happy July 4th, Dan, There you go, another Great video. Reminds me of the Northern Pacific Railroad, with the colors on the engines. What are those GP40-2w (wide cabs)? Great veiws! So out of body, angelic, birds eye scenic. Can't wait!
Great job!

Very enjoyable to watch. The drone work adds so much dimension to the filming effort and beauty of the scenery. Thank You.
That was an impressive train for 2 old Geeps. And the speed they were mustering was really good too. Another homerun Dan.
Very unique train, very beautiful area for shooting... Hopefully when I start with them in the coming weeks, I'll be able to enjoy it even more. Heh
Wow, nice drone! Rich color, fine detail and fascinating railroading.
Nice filming.
Beautiful views.
Nicely done Dan!
As usual a superb production. Thanks.

Awesome videography. What's the music that you're playing in the video track
It's from a website called Soundstripe.
@@TheRailfanDan Thank you
Cool! Who did the music?

Hey, was that you on the ground around minunte 5 outside the car flying the drone? Loved the video.
What a special treat for Independence Day!
Had it rained just before filming?
I don't believe so. I think it did later in the day though.
how often does this turn tin?,
one of your better efforts
This train runs Sunday through Friday usually. Sometimes they skip days here and there.

Good 👍👍🇮🇩
@4:12 . your car?
Yes it is!
I must say I prefer original sound, but nevertheless that's some very nice filming. Scenery looks rather like the Scottish Highlands there.
