Mack Brown is fired early in a strategic move by the AD in order to maximize their potential of landing the best candidate to replace him. Meanwhile, in Morgantown, Wren Baker is dragging his heels because...
@tarheel7406 I worked in Raleigh for 7 months. There were skeeters all over there. In fact Raleigh is listed as one of the worst cities in the country for them. Chapel Hill is just down the road. I couldn't go out for seconds without getting eaten alive
@@WilderG304 I grew up in North Carolina, have 2 degrees from Chapel Hill, and lived in Raleigh for a number of years. Never noticed any abnormal skeeter problem. Of course, i recently heard someone complain about too many trees in the area. Could just be relative,
@ maybe you locals are immune to the skeeters more than outsiders. I would cover my entire body and run into my hotel room and literally have 7 bites on my face. It was driving me insane. I will say that when I had training at Chapel Hill it wasn't nearly as bad as Raleigh. The experience I had with mosquitoes in NC made it to where I want to stay in WV and live above 3000 ft elevation. I chose my recent job based on higher elevation which will keep away bugs and humidity. Y'all can enjoy swimming through the air in summer with all that humidity. I'll take no bugs and cold winters.
Hey couz this is off topic. But I'm an Arkansas Razorback fan, and the latest SEC bowl projections has Arkansas playing west Virginia in the Armed forces bowl. I hope it's true, we've never played yall and I'm looking forward to it.
Where was WVU hiring Mack Brown suggested? The head football coach position is better than any in the BIG12, including WVU. It's also expected that the UNC position will be the best available open this cycle. This means that UNC would get its pick among the candidates that are interested and available ~over~ the WVU position if it becomes open. Though UNC isn't even a lite blue in football, its huge overall brand lifts its head coaching position to that level. Brown 1.0 proved that UNC can be top-level competitive. We need a great younger coach that would rather stay for a chance to be the "Dean Smith of Carolina football" than be lured away by a more established program. Brown was lured away by TEXAS and he got his natty, but I still wonder if he regrets giving up the chance of being UNC's legacy coach.
NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY 😅 AFTER A WVU LOSS. I LOOK AT IT THIS WAY. WE ARE GETTING A NEW COACH . ITS A GREAT DAY TO BE A MOUNTAINEER . WHERE EVERY YOU MAY BE. HEY OHIO STATE / CLEMSON both lost ... if that's any constellation prize . Would much rather be Neil Brown than Ryan Day after that epic loss. WOW 0-4 VS THE OLD GOLD AND BLUE 😳 PRICE LESS
Man. WVU loses another one. Their losing all their big commitments. Sucks. I think k it has to do with all the negative stories about brown and the actions of the wolfpack making big headlines. Who wants to play with a school with that kind of drama. I thinks that's 4 players already. Maybe it's more.
WVU fires Shane Lyons, Neal Brown's biggest supporter, presumably to get him out of the way so they can replace Neal. Then what do they do next?? They keep Neal on for 2 more years of mediocrity. WVU deserves all the loss of fan loyalty they caused with this stupidity!

Thanks
Welcome
UNC has a great campus but who wants to live in that humidity with all those mosquitos
"Mosquitos"? The Piedmont isn't the lowlands.

@@aaronlovell6026 that would at least be an interesting and fun opponent. Better than playing Army or someone.
Mack Brown is well past his prime. He needs to just enjoy retirement. UNC can take NB off our hands. Please.
If he was fired then why would we want him?

Mack Brown is a better coach than Neal Brown. But NC is not afraid to move on a coach that they feel is less than ideal. Congrats NC!
I want Neal brown fied bring I mack brown
Mack is too old and doesn’t like dealing with the new era of college football.
Please, no. This has nothing to do with us. Perish the thought 😅😂
Brown will not be fired for less than a big name coach that wvu can afford

Why is North Carolina not a juggernaut?
Yup, don’t like it but the reality is UNC is much better job.

Some recruits leaving are not the decision of the recruit. Sometimes the school changes their mind about a kid.

Gee is Neal's biggest supporter. Wren was brought in because he's a fundraiser, Lyons was a compliance guy.
Mack Brown is too old to hire here. Good coach but we need someone younger that’s gonna be here a while
@@bobbeckett9631 I honestly never advocated for that.
@ oh I know. I was just speaking my opinion.
Brown has four bowls in six years. So far he has won two. What does WVU think it is?
