I have enough faith in the moves that have been made this far, I have no reason to not believe in Alley. Every move made is either genius or a bust and the line between those two are pretty slim. I’m here for the ride.

Couz , alley took a ranked 100 defense and put them in the top 40 in one year . Hes a good coach

I dont think Alley had to worry much about recruiting, great defensive coaches draw great defensive recruits. I am not worried about that!

Zac is going to be Associate Head Coach/ Defensive Coordinator/ linebacker Coach he gets full control of the defense and maybe a head coaching job in three years. Not going to h a open at Oklahoma!

I’m so confused lol. Which is it? It was Brent’s defense and losing ZA means nothing which in turn means OU fans are upset for no reason? Or is he a good coach and the outcry by OU fans is warranted?

He is a good coach but let’s be real Zac was a glorified defensive coaching assistant!!
Not hating just speaking the truth that Brent was 100% hands on Oklahoma’s defense day to day…

@ most head coaches that specializes in a particular side of the ball is hands on with that side. It’s not an exclusive thing to OU. It’s ok to recognize that ZA made a difference and OU will be fine on defense no matter what because you have BV. Both can be true at the same time. My issue is the ego of the OU fan base is having a hard time coping with the fact this has happened and are trying to shrug it off like he’s nothing or it’s no big deal. If the reports are true about OU offering double his salary then it’s obviously not a money decision and I don’t think it’s fair to say he is disloyal either because of his connection to RR. It’s more likely it’s a job security thing and wanting autonomy over the defense. Neither of which is a knock on OU it’s just the reality of the situation in the current state of the OU program.

Zach didn’t run his own defense in Oklahoma. It was Brent Venable scheme.
Zach basically called the plays that Brent wants him to in advance !
The OU fan base needs to cope?
Can you please refresh my memory when West Virginia was ever worth a crap?
Have you losers even won the big 12 before let alone a national championship or a Heisman Trophy?
Please just cause you guys snagged one of our coaching assistance. You guys think you’re something special??

@ it’s pretty obvious by your response that yes you do need to cope. Not once did I compare programs or suggest that historically WVU was better. Anyone with a singular brain cell knows OU is the better program. You’re all so far in yours feels that you have to immediately do that to make yourselves feel better. But go on king and tell me how much he doesn’t matter while you continue commenting on a WVU TH-cam page

I am believing 0% of the hype. I am expecting about a 6-6 record for 2025. That is not disrespect. That is just being realistic about a completely new system in Year 1.

    • @calebp31
      @calebp31 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

@@gregorykrug8034 I agree rich has a hard build. You won’t get all your recruits in a row year 1. Brown didn’t do his job here either so it’s not like he was set up for success taking this job either. At most I see us winning 8-10 games. But that’s if we land anymore decent transfers or late recruits. But also on how well the guys take to his hard edge training. He can take your avg athlete and bring out something I’ve never seen any other coach do.

@@calebp31 All the talks from the NB fans including this channel about how GREAT a recruiter Brown was. What happen ? Now talking about RR having a hard rebuild? The BROWN recruits were all over hyped starting with Gallenger. He not a RR player and will leave maybe as soon as spring. Most were soft and lazy because that was Brown coaching style. Be a friend to the players. Being a Friend is OK as long as they respect you as a COACH.

We would be so lucky to win 6 games . The problem is people say silly shit and think that WVU is a title contender and 6-6 in rods first year with a new team would be a miracle
