It’s so funny how social media opens up so much RUMORS about who is supposed to be the next position coaches, same thing was going on before Rich Rod got hired, if only people would be patient and let Rich Rod do what he does, he knows exactly what he’s doing and he will get the coaches and players he needs to fit his style and system
Great content Couz. I had no idea who Jack was, and like you wondered why he bounced around so much. Thanks for giving some good background to it. If I read correctly, Bicknell was with the 2011 Giants when they won the superbowl as their OL coach.
It kind of breaks the mold for RR hiring practices. Most of his hires are unknowns among the fraternity of power 4 coaching circles. Many came from the old WVIAC conference. As it turned out many of his unknown initial hires excelled and made a name for themselves such as Tony Gibson, Casteel and Justice. * Another plus to hiring bicknell insights he may have from the business aspects he may have learned as an NFL coach
I know line play better then anyone fan wise was great hire Neal had 6 ft 6 guards not low to ground not good run blockers rich guards 6 3 or so low to the ground athletic big changes
Did ya'll hear the news that Bill Belichick and UNC is going to hire Neal Brown as their offensive coordinator for 2025 ? I didnt either, but it be funny as hell if they did😂
Neal's either going into t.v, politics, or be the leader of a snake handling " Christian " church. Like the one on 52 north headed towards r.d Bailey lake.
This hire can not be no worse than Matt Moore. Actually this is a good Hire. You are making videos that really don’t matter. It may be time to unsubscribe. Stop making stupid videos that don’t matter!
Why did it not matter? I had my doubts about the hire and I loved listening to Couz's point. If you didn't get anything out of it, maybe you didn't watch the entire video. I thought it was great.... But that is just my thoughts
I immediately recognized the Bicknell name but through his father. He was the Head Coach during the Doug Flutie era for Boston College. This is an added plus/ many intangibles being brought up in a football coaching family

No he’s got solid portfolio even at NFL level he’ll get the guys RR wants and needs to operate the offense beautifully
He is bringing in Casteel for a role too, so I think it’s starting to look better each day.
I agree.
Everybody hated Casteel for his 335.

@@johnrickman4868 that is correct.
This hirer is a 9 out of 10 He’s a really good coach. MAKE WVU FOOTBALL GREAT AGAIN
Let the process play out we have till august 2025 to see our new team and coaches.

Bicknell Jr. comes from a coaching family. His brother also is a coach in the NFL.His dad Jack Sr coached those Flutie Boston College teams.
I forgot to even mention that.
Great video brother. I think he’ll be a solid hire
@@BJtheMountaineerguy thanks
Seems a good hire based on the video I watched about him yesterday.
I think so.
Well now that I have the insight of the DC hire, I feel just fine with RR’s choices. Let’s trust RR.
If he is good enough for the Steelers, Chiefs and Dolphins he probably good enough for the Mountaineers
Amen
Jack Bicknell coached Doug Flutie all through his college career
including his senior year when he won the Heisman at Boston College in 1984.
Can’t remember where I heard/read it. Rumor is Bicknell is being brought in to mentor an assistant to become the offensive line coach.
Dressler is his last name.
I agree that Jack Bicknell Jr is a good hire. And I agree that Chad Scott was a good hire.
Thanks Tom
Rich Rod just hired Jeff casteel , but don't know what position.
@@gsmyrna7469 I saw that after I recorded this. I’m glad he’s back.
I have no issues with it great hire
Jack Bichnell's father was head football coach of Boston College.
Thanks
You’re welcome
I know line play better then anyone fan wise was great hire Neal had 6 ft 6 guards not low to ground not good run blockers rich guards 6 3 or so low to the ground athletic big changes
That’s actually not a bad point.
Wv 24/7 saying Zac Alley hired
Yes sir!!
The only question is with any of these coaches will the head coach be ruthless and hold them accountable? I think we know the answer to that.
Not concerned at all. Things will happen as they should. Hopefully we can get back to the good ol' WINNING days...
I didn't see a need to change OL coach.
Apparently Moore wasn’t a fit for the new coach and staff
The guy change his teams as much as most people change underwear
Listen to the reasons. That matters.
Hey, we need to allow coach Rich Rod to do his job. Why are You questioning him?
I’m not. It’s others in the fanbase that are.
Is it wrong to expect better? All the way around, coaches and players? He doesnt have TIME!
@@TheSabanOfSubscribers but how do we know this hire isn’t good? We don’t know more about football than RR.
Time will tell
Did ya'll hear the news that Bill Belichick and UNC is going to hire Neal Brown as their offensive coordinator for 2025 ? I didnt either, but it be funny as hell if they did😂
Looks like Neal may get a year off

Hes never been a head coach at the fbs level? La tech wasnt a fbs school
Bicknell, Jr was OL coach at Wisconsin
@rgbrown81 no shit
Not really a big deal. Just semantics.
As much as I dislike RR, why don't you let him coach and you stay on the couch
You obviously commented before watching the entire video.
He wasn't a good fit for La Tech. His offense scheme didn't fit the players they had.
Yeah, the hire isn’t great
I hope y'all made the wrong hire

Discussions about coaching hires don't matter? Last time I checked coaching positions are a vital part of a football program. Casual much?
I immediately recognized the Bicknell name but through his father. He was the Head Coach during the Doug Flutie era for Boston College. This is an added plus/ many intangibles being brought up in a football coaching family
Are you really a WVU fan, this is BAd PR for the football program!
@@kellahobbs9232 how? I literally said it was a good hire. You are only here to troll me.
Discussing pros and cons of a coaching hires is "bad" PR? Spare us the ignorance please.
Maybe you should go over to “Goin’ Deep”,
