So, I still don't need a resistor, but after this video was uploaded I had the turn signal flash rapidly once at a red light and then never again. It didn't even do that for the other side! I've been trying to see if anything at all causes that to happen regularly, but I haven't even been able to get it to happen a second time. Just something to be aware of happening!
