    Wow, that tune at 53:30 "Western Wynde", that sounds exactly like something that would be from 19th century American composers. I was idly listening to this in the background and that came on and i was like "wait, what shape note tune is this, sounds like Billings, i like this!"

    The version of Mirie it is while sumer ilast sounds so weirdly pronounced in this version. I don't know; might just be me.

    This is very nice, and the language is cool, but i feel like the music itself is not very historically accurate. Sounds too much in the modern ideal to be correct.

      Is that a joke? I can't tell. English hasn't always been the same. This is the way it used to sound. It's still English though. English is a mix of German and French and Saxon and it was totally indecipherable to a modern person originally. All languages are like that. They change. So every movie you ever saw with medieval people talking in recognizable, if flowery and romantic language, is actually wrong. Just like setting a film in Germany and having the actors speak English.
