Buschbeck Organ Building This piece was recorded on the largest pipe organ in Lithuania which is at Vilnius university St John’s church. 3 manuals and 64 stops. All mechanical. Kirnberger III temperament.
There's something I love about how subtle the tremolo is. I've heard a lot of cases where the tremolo sounds rather exaggerated and cheesy and awkward, and this is not the case here: the tremolo actually adds something.
Thank you. The Tremolo is pneumatic with a long brass spring. I made it adjustable in intensity over the stop knob. The more you pull out the stronger it works.
Organs in churches are being used less and less. It's a cultural thing. Few people understand the organ. (Unfortunately.) This little house organ is excellent. SATB hymns sound great.
Votre orgue est vraiment superbe. Le trémolo donne une profondeur supplémentaire à sa sonorité qui est belle et très chantante. Merci de faire partager ce moment gracieux.
What a beautiful organ! Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but the sound it produces is simply lovely. It’s builder certainly put a lot of thought into its design and construction. A small masterpiece. If I may be so bold as to inquire, what might be the price of such a wonderful instrument?

@@buschbeckorganbuilding3600 I felt organ making is one of the most exciting and Noble job. I want to learn it, but my country does not have such cultural environment or convenience to it . To me it is gravely sad as very few people knew this instrument, not to mention to discuss or even play it. I was luck to study in New Zealand for a while and be able to spend quite some time on any organ related activities and met some friends. When I am about to come back, I retrofitted a 2 manual 30 some years old Allen computer organ to a midi ready console (for Hauptwerke), under my friend’s guidance. And then ship it back to my country hoping to keep it going. Thank you sir for making this post, it is so exciting to see the organ community is growing on TH-cam! God bless.
For a home this is as big as it can get without offering up bedrooms. If you would buy this it would cost like 25000$. Not really a starter instrument. For a starter a Hauptwerk organ is way more affordable 🙂
This is lovely, but I'm confused as to why there's no 2' stop but rather two quint stops. For 4 stops, I would think 8, 4, 2, 1-1/3 or 8, 4, 2-2/3, 2 would make more sense. I would also like to have heard the two higher stops demonstrated.
I've been wanting to build my own organ but want mine to be foot pumped and require no electricity like my reed organ and a smaller footprint so I'll always have room for it.
@@Richard-vq7ud You might want to inquire with the builder versus relying on the opinion of others as being factual. It's probably not going to be "cheap" (whatever that is), but bear in mind the complexity of this instrument and the fact that it's handmade and of superior quality. I wouldn't guess the price, I'd simply contact the builder.
@@bhigdaddymark yes, that is correct. they say that you get what you pay for. i have no doubt that organ is worth every penny. im not actually interested in purchasing, just like to learn. I already have a used Ahlborn Galanti that fit my budget and house, and i love it.
@@Richard-vq7ud That's better than nothing of course. Are they still around, or were they absorbed by someone else (Viscount)? If I had the money, I'd buy a refurbished Rodgers 835-B by Walker Technical Organs for home use. I can't imagine what an instrument of this size would cost, but I'm going to share this video with my pipe organ builder friends and get their professional opinion. I just thought that her estimation was a tad high especially considering she didn't reveal a position of authority as having worked for or currently working for a pipe organ builder especially one who exclusively builds Tracker organs. This organ is what, 3 to possibly (albeit I think four ranks) 5 ranks and according to her totally unsubstantiated estimate, that organ is $30-33K per rank? I'd find that hard to believe. I just went online and found a Rodgers 205 Hybrid which is an analog electronic (II/5) two manual organ with 5 ranks of pipes and 38 speaking stops, AGO console/pedalboard that the seller GRAFTON PIANO COMPANY listed for $11,890 or $8,990 as is. I'd be surprised to see this organ priced more than $40K (between $20-40K), but I just don't know. Enjoy your home organ Richard and be safe.
@@bhigdaddymark Yes, i agree with your analysis. Ahlborn is still around. My favorite part of it is the digital acoustics. As much as I love the true pipe organ, I still believe any organ is only as good as its' acoustics. Imo, the best pipe organ without acoustics would be like a grand Steinway minus the sustain pedal. I had a lot of fun hacking up some old Conn pipes and incorpoating used Allen speakers to carry the bass. No, it is not the real deal, but it has a magnifiscent pipe display and i feel like a king playing it and looking at it everyday. One of my favorite phrases is "better than nothing'... Maybe someday, i have thought about getting a real pipe organ, removing furniture, and then covering ever square inch of my living area with tin. I dont know how that would work, but it would be fun!
Too much chiff for me. Such an attack lends the sound more to fairground music than classical, if you ask me. Whether it's a result of size, construction, or personal taste, it's honestly neither here nor there though. It sure is a treat to look at, and the craftsmanship speaks for itself!
Any organist would enjoy having such elegant instrument at home...
Thank you for your kind comment. On what organ are you playing the Franz Tunder Preludium?

this definitely one of the more aesthetically pleasing organs that i've seen.
It reminds me of Nemo’s organ in its design.

The instrument is wonderful!
I built an organ about this size but the one here has better tonal resources. The case is wonderful as is the lighting. Thanks for posting.
You should post a video of it.
What a fine piece of craftsmanship - both in terms of design, mechanic, voting and case design and construction!
Thank you so much.
Instrument needs a place in a church. beautiful .

Excellent workmanship, congratulations! Interesting tower clock mechanism in the background, too!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL and perfect for home use as demonstrated. As would anything, it would sound gorgeous in a reverberant room. Bravo to you!
Beautiful organ!

I want a pipe organ in my house one day 🤗🤗🤗😍😍❤️

would like to have heard the full organ, still, it's a very wonderful instrument.

So cool. Would be right at home in a chapel.

Yes, I wondered what had happened to the fifteenth!
How are you getting that organ out through that door?
The organ is sitting on metal wheels and the top can be taken off.
i wonder how much a contraption like that costs

Wo bekommt man sowac her?
Dove li vendono questi organi?
What composers were you playing?
Hmmm -- I wonder if a Negative Pipe Organ would sound any better -- or worse???
Wow
Wie heißt das Lied am Anfang?
How much in US dollars? Thx!
@Girl On A Quest that is quite a bit. i certainly do love it, but that is out of my range
