You know, I love this rig and have since the first 8s version. It, in my opinion is still the king. That said, I feel the term “ultimate” has a loose translation in this specific application. You guys missed a few serious issues that could have easily been addressed during your quest to make the “ultimate” X Maxx.
I totally agree with what you said. But, if they build it just how you wanted it. It would not need to be taken apart and upgraded by you. Part of the fun is taking part and fixing/repair yourself. Imo. 🤙🏼😎

Limited edition or ultimate? Guess wide kit and roof skid are extra ultimate? I don't use wide kit on my X-Maxx but just curious.
You'd think you would at least get the 2085X if not the wide kit.

honnêtement c'est très cher par contre si tu prends le cout des pièces option dessus c'est pas cher en réalité en gros si tu achètes un xmaxx 1200 et tu veux l'optionner comme la plupart fond, alors la c'est bcp plus rentable la version ultimate avec au moins 500€ de pièces option traxxas. Apres le xmaxx de base est déjà très très bien et ne coute pas cher du tout en entretien.

Considering I have almost 3k in mine $1500 isn't too much of a stretch with some upgrades already installed however would be cool to offer a roller though, stock electronics are trash!!

There seems to be a lot of hate for Traxxas in the RC community. Proprietary design and the highest price. How will the company respond?
Sure it’s cool, but you don’t need 90% of that alloy. The only things that break on a stock XMAXX are the center driveshaft and the arms(sometimes) to be fair, the turnbuckles do break sometimes and that is upgraded on the Ultimate, but that’s the only part that was upgraded that actually breaks. Sure it’s a cool collectors item but I want to actually drive an XMAXX, not stare at it.

Xmaxx ultimate seems cool, but to add all that weight and not put the heavy duty arms stock is pretty ridiculous.
