Love your informative videos Louie. Great information. I've heard that belts when new are not directional, the arrows are only for putting a used one back on the same way it came off. As it needs to spin the same way once it's been used.

Great info. I got here because my daughters 2020 can am outlander with 78 miles center bolt from her secondary clutch popped out. The bolt cracked. Im thinking this bolt from the factory should be a high tensile strength because it plays a huge roll in keeping resistance on this spring full time. Thank you for the video. Im going to go back add locktite and a torque to this. Thank again.
How do u like the clutch kit, does it make it for responsive, and pull harder, I have a 2018 xmr 1000 renegade
Hi looking for a little help the primary clutch stud, comes out to insert removal bolt I can't find the tourq spec for the stud itself your videos didn't remove it, so didn't cover that, do you by chance know it? Thanks 2017 xmr 1000
you don't have to sand the surface area of the clutch? seems like since you had it out you could have went horizontally/vertically with a scrub pad
when are you going to start getting the snowmobiles back into the videos? Did you sell the axys because of the low snow conditions in the last few years, to be able to buy the xmr?
amazon and ebay sell and angle gauge tool cheap. i use it for degree settings(block bolts mostly)

I have the 2017 version of this bike, noticed you put the BRP belt back on after the clutch kit. Any recommendations on aftermarket belts for these machines?
I really like the new beadlocks and 30” Cryptids...tempted to get a set for my XMR.

ya id have no issues running an ultimate or other belt.
Mavericks trail belt is the best. I have both machine. I seat melt yet?
U seat melt yet 2012 2018. U will see tin foil tape every where. It is one major flaw. Muffler right under ass. Power this bike is 89hp low gear. Mine slowly breaking in 148km do far was 114km
The only part I needed to see is the struggle to put it on 😢

on 570 both primary and secondary are just torque to yield bolts. interesting video a lot different tho.

I got a 2018 can am renegade xmr1000r and I put a dalton clutch kit in it and instead of putting the stud and nuts in it a just put the old style bolt in it and it is way better got it from my dealer
is there a link to buy the secondary tool for removing the secondary stud? i just bought the stm for my 19 outlander max xmr to pair with my cvtech primary

Wow this is exactly why I’m not a can am or ski doo guy. Way way way over engineered. Great skills though and yeah they do it so you have to bring them to the dealer and pay that $100 plus an hour shop time.
Man this is the exact reason I swapped to Can-Am compared to dealing with the wet clutch

I just buy can am and ride I have never needed anything but new tires. I don’t try to break it that costs money!
Why are you on your stock wheels
Gavin Burkett he explained that the factory cryptids are called 30” tall but they’re actually only 29”, so he bought some actual 30” ones. In the video he has the actual 30” tires on bead lock wheels but the rear are stock. He made a video installing the new tire and wheel combo, but I guess this was just filmed before that.
