Congratulations Jason on yet another excellent video! I love the typical country sound you’re playing here. For me, you’re without a doubt one of the best and most inspiring piano teachers on TH-cam. Thanks for all your great work!
This is so good. I learned the piano as a boy. My teachers gave me some tunes and I learned them. But I could not use this to make my own music or play music by ear. It is like the old story about giving a man a fish. Your lessons teach me how to fish.
Great lesson! Country piano has so many potential applications in many genres of music. You can hear elements of country piano in the music of Elton John, Nora Jones, and even Steely Dan.
You just reminded me of my school days playing in the church services !! Never knew why it sounded so good in Bb especially whenever I hit the F and came back to Bb with the grace note!!! Thank you so much Sir !!! ❤
This is so brilliant that I have come across this channel. Please do a breakdown of traditional hymns in southern gospel piano style seen in Gaither videos. God bless you
Would you consider a lesson on “finding” different intros for “can’t help falling in love with you”. Or a small tutorial on how to tackle intros. Thank you for considering.
Great suggestion Elisabeth. Will plan. But most intros are very specific to the song! So might have to be on a song by song basis. Have you seen our greatest Piano intros of all time playlist: th-cam.com/play/PLrNNL05e9FT-_VES5xPMZnrnBtv_NluWO.html
thanks for a very informative video. your explanation are clear and simple. i watch a lot of technical videos and as a native American English speaker, i often find the indian accent annoying and just move on. while your accent is obvious, it is very understandable and not at all annoying. i work with many people with various accents and it is always apparent who cares about being understood
Good day sir, I wanted to ask you for a tip, I cannot find on the internet. I was practicing this song I will survive, I'm sure you know it. And in the beginning, there's this fast arpeggio of chord E9b. So it's basically F° with E bass. But it's difficult for me to run up the keyboard with that diminished chord. Could you give us some tips on how to practice that difficult kind of arpeggios? Because I've seen many videos on triads and honestly they are much easier. I've been practicing diminished arpeggios for 2 weeks but I'm still slow, when I increase tempo I'm inaccurate and the worst problem is the when I play faster my thumb is getting louder then other fingers... Thank you as always and God bless you for your help ❤
