Mod and Pear, Thank you for another fun and informative video. I am glad to see that you are making them on a more regular basis. Maybe there is hope for me to learn some Thai after all. Again, thank you and keep those videos coming. (P.S. Editing the flashbacks using a reduced color saturation is awesome. Great Job!)
Thanks. I've noticed that Vietnamese is similar in the sense that two friends that havent seen each other in a while will immediately start with comments about looking older, darker or fatter LOL. Not to be taken at all personally :)
Okay, i will ask my Thai friend to see if there is a translation, yes I know they say things differently, they also don't use small words like we do, "is, am are" for example and just say "go where" whereas we would say, "where are you going".
Thank you for watching our lessons. The script was designed to make an entertaining lesson. Although many Thai people actually often use this comment in real life but I never do that. :)
Thank you so much for the in depth description! My daughter is learning Thai fast with your help!
Glad to see you back!

Dear teachers, can you explain what is the meaning/usage of "rue-bplaao", heard it quite often but dunno what it means.
"or not?" (although it's been 2 years since your question, I'm sure you've found the answer since) 55
Thanks. I've noticed that Vietnamese is similar in the sense that two friends that havent seen each other in a while will immediately start with comments about looking older, darker or fatter LOL. Not to be taken at all personally :)
please upload some hard phrases too :)
Hi could you use "Hen" instead of "Jer", as per not see you in a long time? So "Mai Daai" is "didn't" as well as "cannot"? Thanks in advance :-)
Yes, I know "hen" is "see", i was trying to find out the correct sentence for "not see you in a long time"
Okay, i will ask my Thai friend to see if there is a translation, yes I know they say things differently, they also don't use small words like we do, "is, am are" for example and just say "go where" whereas we would say, "where are you going".

I said ไม่เป็นไรนะ /mâi boen rai ná/ It is ok. อ้วนแต่ก็สวยอยู่ /ûan dtàe gâw sŭai yùu/ You are overweight but still pretty.
That's very useful. Thanks Mod

Why Kru Mod bullying Kru Pear lol. Hope they are actually having fun and Kru Pear not offended deep inside
Thank you for watching our lessons. The script was designed to make an entertaining lesson. Although many Thai people actually often use this comment in real life but I never do that. :)
It is a phrase, not a word Mod and Pear.
Kruu Pear doo mai uan laew mai dum - pom kit waa Kruu Pear yung doo suay maak took wan khrup ^__~
ไม่ใช่ดำขึ้น...มันเป็นผิด ถูกก็ผิวสวยขึ้น
คุณสวยขึ้น
ขอบคุณค่ะ :)
In most cultures, it is rude, and small-minded to talk about someone's weight or skin colour. Older more mature people don't do it.
how to say "me love you long time"?
pom rak khun nan liau
Looks like you are quite well verse with Thai language Mr.Sobieski.
Marry me Mod :)
