Thanks Patricia. I'll be keeping up with the twirls from now on to show off my makes. I just fell out of practice for a minute, but now I'm back into the swing of things. No, my daughter isn't into pink anymore these days. She's been more into yellow the last couple of months. She even wants to repaint her room! They definitely grow up quickly. You did FANTASTIC on the Love Notions takeover!!! I love that fabric for the Tunic and I like that cowl feature. Do you think the back of the tank dress can be cut on the fold? Beautiful makes Crystal.
Thanks Nateida. I love the cowl neck feature on this pattern. You could definitely take out the back seam for the back piece. In fact, I did that at first on this version and just cut down on the fold once I realized my mistake. The official way would be take off the 3/8 seam allowance before you place it on the fold, so that you wouldn't be adding any additional width to the pattern piece. It will still line up wit the back bodice piece during construction. This little mistake makes it look like I have perfect pattern matching on skirt back. Glad it worked in my favor.
