- I made the same easy sewing pattern in three different knit fabrics. The Bella Donna top and tunic from Love Notions is a very simple, easy project and I am sharing some length checks I did before sewing a toile or muslin to perfect the fit to my body and how I lengthened the tunic into a dress length. Lots to see 😊

All your versions are lovely, but my favorite is actually your wearable toile! I love the print and the colors! Also, I sure appreciate your fitting and adjustment details! I asked a fitting question on a previous video (I'm binge watching your videos today 😁), and this video answered party of my question! You gave me lots to think about in regards to fitting my own bust area.
The bust is so particular in fitting and it’s work getting it to fit as best as possible :)

It’s noticeable when the bust volume is drafted higher and I’ve not given this a second thought. It does make a difference and it’s worth it 😄

I don’t give it a second thought by this point. Also I consider dartless styles too and see where they have allowed for the bust volume.

Hi Karina, lovely makes...tunics come in so many lengths. I like the length just below the bum. They go nicely with skirts, but I love to wear them with Capris. I live in Arizona so I can relate with you on the heat situation.

@@LiftingPinsandNeedles I just finished it! It took 70 minutes, including cutting out the pattern from the copy shop, adjusting the pattern, cutting it out, sewing it, and then hemming! I've never made a garment that fast in my life!

Really lovely makes. We have similar weather here in Sydney. My mum is wanting a dress like this, and she has a lower apex, so thank you for the tips on adjustments. Its great to get a nice top out of a small amount of fabric, it means that we can buy the more expensive prints xxxx

If I want the 3/4 " sleeve, How do you finish it. I saw that you folded it back. So it doesn't have a band. Is it just hemmed. There isn't anything in the instructions at all on how to do the 3/4 sleeve.
This is an older video. Have a look at this newer one. It’s the cuff the makes it 3/4 length. I have zero 3/4” sleeve versions in this video.
